Your best course of action is to email the web sites that use Flash and request that they support iOS. If you also mention that there are now well over 200 million iOS users worldwide that can't use the web site it might get their attention. A colleague of mine has been bent out of shape over the Flash issue since day one but he has finally started to contact web sites and request they support iOS. Not as most people think of Flash on an iOS device, no. The new version of Flash Media Server just provides a single server platform for streaming video both in Flash and HTML5 content formats. It won't work for Flash apps which is what most people want. And it's not something the user can install for connecting to Flash content;the provider has to implement it.
It may, however, speed up the availability of content in HTML5 format since the provider doesn't have to run separate servers. And just FYI, it's not new. This version of Flash Media Server was released back in September.

I have Adobe Flash Player Plugin for Firefox, but I'm still missing Flash Player?

So I have installed the latest version of Adobe Flash Player Plugin for Firefox, and I'm able to watch youtube videos on my browser and other things that require flash player, but I have a disc that i got along with my Samsung monitor, and when I put it in my computer, it says that I do not infact have flash player. Also, when I try playing a game, DawnGate, theres a black box where a video should be, and it says that i do not have flash player, and it is required to watch these videos. I tried uninstalling, and I was unable to watch youtube, and when i reinstalled, I was able to watch youtube again, but that did not fix my problem. Is there something I'm missing? I look forward to hearing from someone soon.

Odds are it's looking for the IE plugin: (A lot of software just assumes ALL Windows users are "slaves to Microsoft" and only have IE installed.)

Adobe flash player update for PowerPc running OSX 10.4.11

Numerous websites I try visiting are now insisting I update my Adobe Flash Player.
I've read several Discussions on the topic and, as a result, am about to un-install my current Adobe Flash Player, (9.0.246.0) in order to install what appears to be the latest available version (10.1.102.64) that is compatible with my 1.8ghz power pc running on OSX 10.4.11. I've downloaded that new version of Flash and it sits on my Desktop waiting to be installed.
I gather that un-installing my current version of Flash Player will leave me "stranded" if the newer one doesn't successfully install! So I'm checking with the Community to confirm that the newer version is the correct one and to ask what steps I should follow in to successfully un-intall the old (ready to use Adobe's site to do this) and install the new.

Ok, uninstalled successfully.
But am temporarily stalled at the install phase. Assistance please!
Under "Archived Versions" on the Adobe site, I downloaded "Released 11/04/2010 10.1.102.64 and 9.0.289.0".
Opened the download box on the Desktop.
Inside that one, opened Flash Player 10.1.102.64 folder.
Then opened the 10_1r102_64 file.
In there are 9 files. I don't know which one of these to choose or how to install it. Double clicking the 3 exe files does nothing b/c the computer "doesn't know which application to use to open it". The other six don't seem like the ones to use either.

Adobe flash player 10 for Windows Vista

I recently installed adobe flash player 10 to watch video's on YouTube but they won't play for more than five seconds without stalling,reloading and playing again for another five seconds. I unistalled AFP 10 and reinstalled the program to the same result what do I do now. ANy suggestions would be greatly appreciated thank you....

if that doesn't work, maybe you should try a different browser.

you'll get a 2nd flash install for this.
when you go to control panel>programs and features,
you'll see 2 separate entries for flash.
1 is for internet explorer, the other is for firefox.
maybe the 2nd flash will work.

Sorry to tell you this but there is no flash player that you can download for Nokia phones. They all come pre-installed with a version of Flash Lite that is completely tied to the Operating system i.e. you can't uninstall it or update it independently unless Nokia decides to include an update in the firmware (which isn't often btw).

Also on my Nanas computer, when i was there for a week, and i could play games on armor games, but, im here on another computer (Gradpas) and when i go to Armor games and play a game eg Dodge., it says i dont have the Adobe Flash. Due to being on a limited account, i cant ran the install program, and so i would like to know how to install Adobe Flash mannily. Thanks

Is the latest version of Adobe Flash Player bad for my macbook pro? I have heard different things like it causes MBP to overheat. any truth to this?

From research on different communities, I have read that Adobe flash player will cause my macbook to overheat, and a bunch of other rumors. is there any proof or truth that Adobe flash player is bad for my macbook pro? I installed it a couple hours ago and so far nothing has happened but im worried about the future.

That might have been true for the 13" Intel HD 3000 graphics models, but the newer machines with Intel HD 4000 have a bit more kick in the CPU graphics.

No it's not bad, it's just that the late Steve Jobs came out publicly against Flash because it couldn't run on the new low performance devices like iPads and iPhones that he was serving up.
So a lot of young people took it as a mission to kill Flash and bad mouth it to death.
What you do have to do, like you need to do with any browser plug-in or software, is be careful from where you install it from as there are many websites that will try to trick one into installing a fake one.
Many people thus tricked into installing a trojan immediately blame Flash as the cause, when it's not.
Also you have to keep it updated, but using a browser like Chrome will do it for you and Firefox will not let you run outdated web browser plugins.
Safari also blocks outdated plugins, but Apple is very slow to issue updates so it's almost worthless.

I know you are the best in this industry, and i, like so many other users of the portable console, we ask you to release the latest version of flash player, because the browser of the console has full capabilities to play flash contents on the internet.
