Adobe flash player bundled with MALWARE?
When I was prompted to download an update to my flash player recently I did so and from that point on was plagued by the rogue search engine Delta. I also found Web Cake, BrowserProtect. It appears that the malware came from the same source as the adobe flash update. I'm still not sure I have got rid of the effects and may have to re-build my system. Was this not really Flash but as the tag below suggest, but malware_masquerades_as_flash_install?
Any comments?
There were dozens of reports recently about fake update notifications, trying to trick users into downloading malware.
Make sure that the download only comes from the adobe.com domain.

You already have Shockwave Flash 11.0 r1 installed according to your plugins list and it should work on Windows Vista. What do you see when you try the [http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ Flash Player test link]?

Adobe Flash Player Problem with Safari
Hello,
I've just installed the latest version of Adobe Flash Player on Safari. I can watch videos on all websites except for one, namely NovaTv Play. Whatever I do, I cannot open any of the videos. Therefore, I have to use a different browser like Google Chrome. I'd like to continue using one web browser but cannot resolve this problem myself. I've checked the FAQ of the aforementioned website and it is stated that if the videos cannot be loaded, the proper installation of Adobe Flash Player should be checked. This is something I did, and as stated, there are no problems with other websites. Can somebody help me with this issue?
I am using OS X 10.9.5 (13F34) and the latest version of Safari.

Mariyanso, if anyone else is having the same problem....My flash is working properly now. You have to delete every trace of the old adobe flash player and then reinstall the latest version!

Adobe Flash Player Problem with Install
I too am having the same problem as the many of you with the Flash Player saying that it is installed on internet explorer 8 and yet every website wants me to down load the latest version like I don't have it. I realy am getting tired of see the same popup constantly. I can find no answer from Adobe for this issue. Its like we are being ignored. What up with this Adobe? I on the stick and give us an answer please.

Adobe flash player problem with IE 7 (flickering or Blinking)

I have really anoying problem that bothers me about 2 days..so the problem is when im watching pages ex ( youtube, slo-tech..,) that includes flash. When i looking pages or whatching videos the page and texts or picture starts flickering or blinking also when i move mouse up and down or when i scroll it's horible and anoying. before i didn't have that problem and i have the latest adobe flash player.

Looking at your Java. I am not familiar with IE7 but I know it has different features than IE6 which I still use.
Take a look at your screenshots, the 3 part and the other 2. Are there really 6 Java Plug-in 1.6.0_17 ActiveX Controls installed or is this
a screenshot overlap or counted more than once ? In addition there is another ActiveX Plug in same vs 1.6.0_17 but in file npjpi160_...
Then, there is a Java(tm)Plug-in 2 SSV, a BHO (Browser Helper Object) in file jp2ssv.dll
Lastly, there is a JQSIEStartDetectorImp (Not verified) Sun Microsy..., another BHO in file jqs_plugin
I will freely admit, Java is perplexing, but I'm trying to understand why anything takes this many ActiveX Controls and Browser Helpers to run. The 2SSV has it's own BHO and same with JQSIE.
The above is just my observation. You said that you noticed this flickering and blinking (instability) a few days around the time you posted.
Can you remember installing anything new around that time? Any software or perhaps an IE or Windows Update? Something is causing this and trying to pin point it is going to be difficult. You have the most add ons I have ever seen, but you have a great system too and it
looks like it could handle anything.
It may be worth a look in Add/Remove to see what IE or Windows Updates may have been installed around that date. Any program or Anti-Virus update or change?
I would contact Sun Microsystems and ask them about the Java. Flash Player, Shockwave Flash Object and Java work together for the best experience. See what you can find out and post back. If you can't find anything out, you may need to open up a support ticket here at Adobe. Thanks JLavius, I wish I could be more help.

Is Adobe Flash Player compatible with my Macbook Pro?
I tried to go on Youtube but it wouldnt let me because it said I needed Adobe Flash Player but I didn't want to get it because I dont know if it will mess up my macbook.
There most certainly is a flash player or plugin that is compatible with OS X on a Mac.
If you aren't interested in having access to flash content - namely with YouTube, YouTube includes an HTML5 option for all video to be provided via HTML5.

How can I execute it with parameters like " -fullscreen"?i couldn't find any documentation on the command line arguments, but you could add a couple simple lines.

Have had problems with Google Chrome and Mozilla have uninstalled both and I am now using Opera, is this fine to download adobe flash player?
Opera uses the same Flash Player plugin as Safari, Firefox and ANY other non-IE browser (Seamonkey or Maxthon for example).
Chrome has its own proprietary Flash Player plugin ("PepperFlash"), modified, embedded and maintained solely by Google.
The others are:
Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
If you have the "other browser" pluign installed, it should work with Firefox if it works with Opera. -

Mac OSX 10.5.8 system. Problems have been ongoing with the Firefox I had installed a while ago: would open browser in Safari, and FF would take over; keep asking me to personalize my browser program. In truth, Firefox was kind of "taking over", and I wasn't happy with it. Usually open the internet in Safari.
Present problems started with trying to download, install and open a few new games. Kept telling me I needed to install Adobe Flashplayer. I could download it, but it wouldn't install. Downloaded both the Flashplayer installer AND the Flashplayer uninstaller a number of times. Today, I decided to get rid of the Firefox on my hard drive and download a newer version - then try again to download Flashplayer and install. I would like to start a discussion on how one of the "leading" software companies in the WORLD cannot provide a better way for their software (which I assume they want everyone to use) to be used in conjunction with windows 8.1. ADOBE no longer provides support for those who don't pay to be here, they don't have a reasonably intelligent way to fix problems for non computer minded people, they want you to go through and change this setting or that (ya, I've seen the page and done the crap they tell you to do to fix the flash player so it works and... it works... for a little while then you wind up with a fkn green screen after another day or two... this is complete BS you shouldn't have to unfk things so they work every few days... you shouldn't have to deal with crap like this... 1. this should be simple, install the software, install an update if the software is installed and up to date it should work... don't make me fiddle with all the extra bs, your the software developer why cant' you do that????

Controlling autoupdate of Adobe Flash Player ActiveX with mms.cfg file
For several years we have suppressed Flash Player ActiveX from autoupdating by using the mms.cfg file, with the setting "AutoUpdateDisable=1" -- and it has worked without a problem.
With the constant updates of Flash Player for security reasons, we decided several months ago to change the autoupdate setting and allow Flash Player ActiveX to update automatically, without notifying the user, checking every seven days. We changed the mms.cfg file to this:
AutoUpdateDisable=0
AutoUpdateInterval=7
SilentAutoUpdateEnable=1
We are using Windows 7 64-bit, so the mms.cfg file was copied/updated to: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash, as well as C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash
The problem we are randomly seeing across our 2500+ computers is a notification that a Flash Player update is available. This is occurring on machines with the mms.cfg file in place.
Does anyone else have this same issue? We were also wondering if the encoding of the file, i.e., ANSI or UTF-8, has any bearing on the effectiveness of this mms.cfg file. Or has a registry setting been updated overriding the mms.cfg?
We believe the file is encoded in UTF-8, but it is difficult to be 100% certain of this.

I've updated to Firefox ver 5.
GordonThe FlashPlayer plugin used for Firefox is entirely separate from the one that Internet Explorer uses. You system details do not show Flash Player is installed.
With flash player installed and enabled if you go to the Adobe website it will check that FlashPlayer works, also you will be able to download and install from there if necessary. The site page also has links to troubleshooting information. http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
Javascript is not the same as Java. Javascript, which is what you need enabled at present is a feature of the firefox browser that needs enabling in order for it to handle the javscript files.

Absolutely NOT... There IS NO MORE Flash Player for Kindle (Android). NOT since June 2012. And... There will never be another Flash Player developed or updated for Android. The FINAL security update for older versions was released September 10, 2013, and that ENDED ALL DEVELOPMENT and maintenance of Flash for Android by Adobe.
There ARE NO "experimental versions out there"... NOT from Adobe, and NONE that are either supported or endorsed by Android.
Android (GooglePlay) has two (2) "server side" browsers they recommend for viewing Flash content and they DO NOT recommend using them in "mobile" mode.
"Dolphin" and "Puffin" are what they have available. That's it. Adobe doesn't have anything. Android has nothing nother than those. -

Ever since I upgraded to I.E.10, Flash Player 11. has not been working at all. I am constantly reminded to get Flash Player (already in my system!) in order to see a video, for example. Is there a coreection for this?
