Les update automatiques d'Apple n'incluent pas des logiciels permettant de lire tout contenu internet?

Yes, it's prudent to keep your Flash up to date if you have it installed.

Only make very sure that the notice to update really comes from Adobe - dont trust any other download link - otherwise you might get infected by the flash back trojan.

I do not want ant McAfee products installed on my system but now it seems that Adobe Flash player goes hand in hand with McAfee Security Scan, you can't have one without the other. What on earth are Adobe up to and are there any other options? Thank you.

  • Ever since upgrading to Mavericks, Adobe Flash Player doesn't work.

I upgraded from Snow Leopard to Mavericks recently and since then, sites do not recognize that I have Adobe Flash Player installed at all. I currently have the most updated version: "Plug-in version 11.9.900.170 is installed." I noticed this when family and friends sent me e-cards. I go to the sites to view them and it tells me I need to download Adobe Flash Player.
I have uninstalled it twice and downloaded it twice. Installation is always successful and complete but when I test it to view an e-card sent to me from a reliable site, it still states that I need to install it to view the card. I HAVE IT!! lol  I don't understand why the sites are not recognizing it on my computer.
I've tested it out on both Safari and Firefox and it doesn't work on either. Safari is 7.0.1 (current).
Can anyone help me fix this? Troubleshooting on Adobe Flash Player basically tells me to uninstall and re-install. Still doesn't help. ~sigh~
Thanks in advance for any help!

If you're sure you've installed the latest version of Flash, take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. After each step, relaunch Safari and test. For a "missing plug-in" error, start with Step 5.
    Step 1
If you're only having trouble with YouTube videos, sign in to your YouTube account and load this page. You may see a link with the text "Leave the HTML5 Trial." If so, click that link.
    Step 2
If you're getting a "blocked plug-in" error, then from the menu bar select
     ▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
and click Check Now. Quit and relaunch your browser.
    Step 3
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    /Library/Internet Plug-Ins
Right-click or control-click the highlighted text and select
    Services ▹ Open
from the contextual menu.* A folder should open. Delete the following item, or anything with a similar name, if present:
    Flash Player (failing).plugin
You may be prompted for your login password.
*If you don't see the contextual menu item, copy the selected text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combinationcommand-C. In the Finder, select
    Go ▹ Go to Folder...
from the menu bar, paste into the box that opens (command-V). You won't see what you pasted because a line break is included. Press return.
    Step 4
Re-download and reinstall Flash. Download it from the domain "get.adobe.com". Don't click a link from any other website, including this one, because you can't trust links. They may be an attempt to trick you into installing malware masquerading as Flash. Type the address into the browser window. Never download a Flash update from anywhere else.
    Step 5
If you get a "missing plug-in" error, select
    Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Security
from the Safari menu bar and check the box marked
    Allow (or Enable) plug-ins
    Then click the button marked
    Manage Website Settings...
if present and make sure that the website is not blocked for Flash.
    Step 6
    Select
    Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Extensions
from the Safari menu bar. If any extensions are installed, disable them.
    Step 7
In the Safari preference window, select
Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data
    Close the window. Then select
     ▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
and click Delete All. Close the preference pane.

    Hi Fireseed,
    Please do the following:
Ensure you have the latest version installed:
Launch Firefox and go to Adobe - Flash Player
There is a widget on the page that lists the version installed, and a table listing the latest versions for each OS and browser. If you don't have the latest version, Firefox will block Flash from displaying.
If it is installed, and you have the latest version, ensure Flash is enabled:
Launch Firefox and go to https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/enabling-flash-player-firefox.html
Follow instructions for verifying Flash Player is enabled
If it is installed, and you have the latest version, Ensure JavaScript is enabled: JavaScript settings and preferences for interactive web pages | Firefox Help

  • Adobe Flash Player 11 plugin not working right

I have Adobe Flash Player 11 Plugin, Widows Internet Explorer 8 and Microsoft Windows XP, version 5.1.2600.  Why is it not dowloading pictures?

You might as well stop wasting your time. The problem seems to be centered around FireFox (since Adobe Flash seems to work fine with IE and Chrome).  After FireFox begin running Flash as a separate process, it no longer retains preset volume settings for Flash, instead, each new FireFox window resets it to max volume. As a result, several times I've had my ears blasted (this can lead to hearing loss and/or damaged audio equipment). This only happens with newer versions of Flash. Consequently, I no longer use the latest versions in FireFox. I'm thinking about totally dropping FireFox and moving completely to Chrome. Looks like neither Adobe or FireFox are gonna budge to fix the problem.

  • Update Adobe Flash Player on my iMac

I am trying to update my current version of Adobe Flash Player on my iMac.  My iMac has Mac OS X version 10.7.5, and I use Safari as my primary browser (although that probably doesn't much matter.
After opening and launching the installer, I get a message indicating that I need to quit "DashboardClient" in order to continue the installation.  I do not know how to comply.  There is a Dashboard in the OS, but I do not know how to quit it....

  • Adobe Flash Player not compatable with Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2

I installed Internet Explorer 8 Beta 2 and I noticed Adobe

  • Adobe Flash player black bands prior to 11.7.700.202 and again in 11.7.700.224

I was having issues at my campus when I scroll content.  The browser alternately covers the text, pictures, and buttons with black bars a few lines too early as I scroll.  The bars are random as to doing this, as sometimes it is black bars followed by a normal row and then more black bars.  They run across the frame (one line at a time). Sometimes it fills the whole frame.  I fix the problem by scrolling the content off the screen, and repeat the cycle as needed when the random bars hide content from the top down--a few rows too early--as if to represent them scrolling off the screen.
Version 11.7.700.202 fixed this.  The problem must have started in the version just before 11.7.700.202.
However, A few weeks later I let the 11.7.700.224 update install, and it created the problem all over again.
I admit I did not attempt clearing the cache when this started happening.  However, it had only been about a day, with limited usage, so this is unlikely the cause unless the cache remains the same between updates.
I uninstalled Adobe Flash player 11.7.700.224, rebooted, and then removed the latest version info from the registry (since it complained about using an older version, and forced me to exit).  However, this did not work, so I ran the uninstall that came with 11.7.700.202.
I then installed the appropriate 11.7.700.202 installation executable and 11.7.700.202 ax (or activex) installation from the developer archives, and now the problem is fixed again.
There were issues with some video content with 11.7.700.224 as well, but going back to 11.7.700.202 fixed this too.

    @commandt2 -
The first thing I'd try is updating your video driver.
Windows: how do I update the device driver for my video/display adapter?
If you still have problems and you're using Windows 7 x64, please check to see if you have the following Windows update installed:
    KB2670838 – Platform Update for Windows 7 x64
If so, please uninstall it and try Flash Player out again.

  • Adobe Flash Player Installer keeps popping up

I have already the latest version.

I have already configured Adobre Flash Player to never update.
I have already googled for this, apparently not so uncommon, issue.

    Hello Chris,
Sorry for the late reply. I only saw the first part of your message days ago. Perhaps it has been edited since.
This problem keeps happening and it is truly a nightmare. I have tried other things including going to the Registry (which I have not altered).
    In response to your question:
    1. In Windows Task Manager I see
    1.a:  InstallFlashPlayer.exe *32 Description: Adobe® Flash® Player Installer/Uninstaller 11.6 r602. Location: C:\Users\Antonio\AppData\Local\Temp\{513974BF-C40D-4C4D-9367-A59EECC45B2D} and
    1.b: FP_AX_CAB_INSTALLER64.exe *32 (Adobe® Flash® Player Installer/Uninstaller 11.6 r602)  C:\Users\Antonio\AppData\Local\Temp\ICD7.tmp
This second one, I did not see before. It has appeared after I reinstalled Flash Player at the request of Adobe Acrobat when converting to pdf an email that, apparently, contained Flash.
    2. From Process Explorer
    2.a. For InstallFlashPlayer.exe: Parent: FP_AX_CAB_INSTALLER64.exe(5108)
    Curent Directory: C:\Users\Antonio\AppData\Local\Temp\ICD7.tmp\

    Path: C:\Users\Antonio\AppData\Local\Temp\ICD7.tmp\FP_AX_CAB_INSTALLER64.exe
One clarification: The installer does not show up at regular intervals. Sometimes it shows up every few minutes and sometimes it takes longer to appear.
Thank you very much for your help

  • Adobe Flash Player Failure on PowerMac G5.  Please help!

I have a PowerMac G5 computer, running OSX Version 10.4.11.  Up until yesterday, the computer performed flawlessly.  Suddenly, yesterday, I get a message from Firefox (the browser I usually use), telling me that my Flash Player had been disabled because I did not have the most up-to-date version of Adobe Flash Player.  When I investigated, I found out that the newest version was NOT compatible with my computer.  So I tried reinstalling the most recent version of Adobe Flash Player that IS compatible and have had no success.  When I go in to System Preferences and click on the Adobe Flash Player pane (under other), I get a message reading "could not load Adobe Flash Player."  What can I do?   Someone out there must know how to handle this.  I'm not in a position to purchase a new computer, and I desperately need Flash Player for some of the websites I use quite often.  I'm really frustrated and keep being given the "runaround."  Certainly there must be some way to fix this so that I can still run Flash Player on my computer!    HELP !!!

Hello, yes it's a shame that they don't even test for our PPC Macs anymoreto see if the Update is applicable... which it isn't!
You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

Once downloaded if it doesn't unzip automatically the double click on that file.
Look for the fp10.1.102.64_and_9.0.289.0archive folder, open it, look for the Flash Player 10.1.102.64 folder & open and look for 101r10264 folder & open it, double click on the flashplayer101r102_64_ubmac.dmg file, choose the Install Adobe Flash Player file to install... they don't make it easy!
