Adobe flash player on mobile devices
im not sure my doubt is out of league, but i hope to find an answer. that'swhy im posting such a question here.
i am developing a website in which an user uploads a swf file and download it as apk(android format). i am using adobe flash player to display the swf on webview of devices. it seems to be working on samsung s4 devices in india but it is not working on samsung s4(with same kernel version and os verion. and it is a locked device) in US. always the flashplayer opens and when the user tries to interact with the swf game, it crashes. so can anyone help me out to find the issue?
hey maria,
appreciate your explanation. you were right, the flashplayer is inbuilt in that apk along with the swf file. so when ever some one runs the apk, it installs both apk and adobe flash player on mobile device just like any app. it seems to be working in almost all devices except s3 ans s4 in US. using my web application any user can convert a swf to apk and this apk runs on a android device and works fine. but problem comes with s3 and s4 only(as i mentioned the devices from US only. s3 and s4 in India are working fine). that is where i stuck.

Adobe Flash Player for mobile (iOS and Android) devices
I have both Apple iOS and Android devices, and can't install Adobe Flash Player on either. It appears that Adobe no longer provides Flash Player for any mobile devices. The company I work for uses a a company called Paychex for payroll and time & labor, and that program requires Adobe Flash Player to function. I am sometimes in areas where I cannot use my computer and must rely on a mobile device to clock in and out, but I can't do that because you have stopped providing the program. What do I do now?????
iOS has never been compatible with Flash, and per Apple, never will be. It's a lost cause hoping for an iPad Flash Player.
Additionally, Android dropped ALL support for Flash last year. Adobe stopped development of Flash for Android shortly afterward.
See: "Why can't I install Flash Player on my Tablet?" (Kindle or Samsung Galaxy)
The reason both Android and Apple gave for their Flash support decisions is that Flash content is very processor consumptive and it eats battery life in mobile devices. -
Adobe Flash Player 11 Mobile Request
Greetings,
Notify me as soon as you have the Adobe Flash Player 11 for the HTC EVO 4G LTE. I'd tried to download the Adobe Flash Player on the HTC EVO 4G LTE myself but no success. I'd this error message at the Google Play Store instead:
Your Device Isn't Compatible With This Version.
Reply as soon as you get this message.
End of message. There is no more Flash Player for Android and there won't be another. Android is no longer compatible with Flash Player. Playing Flash content is very processor consumptive and it drains your battery, also shortening the life of it. Android (Google) recommends using either "Dolphin" or "Puffin" as your browser if you need to view Flash content with a mobile device running Android. They're both free in the GooglePlay store.
These browsers use "server side" rendering to reduce the load on your device. -
Using Flash Player with mobile devices
How can I use Adobe Flash Player on my iPad? Is it not usable on mobile devices? I get messages saying FP is not supported by my device. I keep the OS updated, etc. Any advice/help?
I have the same problem with Flash Player 7 & Flash Lite.
Neither of them work on my iPAQ hx2495 with Windows Mobile 5. And
now that Flash 6 no longer works, we are stuck without Flash Player
until a fix is found. There's a lot of web content that cannot be
viewed until then. Wow. Wonder how long it will be before a remedy
is released. -

I think this exception is thrown if I click on my hard drive’s symbol in the installer.
I have the same problem when I try to install Microsoft’s last Office update. Maybe there is a connection?
I tried several older versions of the Adobe Flash Player installer, but they didn't work as well.
Perhaps we have some kind of "Mavericks" problem here?
Any help would be highly appreciated!
Thank you very much in advance.
Kind regards
OliverFinally found the issue here:

Somehow a empty file /System/Library/CoreServices/ServerVersion.plist has been created.
If I understand this right this file is only needed if you use Mac OS X Server.
As suggested in the support forum I deleted the file (renamed it to _ServerVersion.plist) and after that every installation, including Adobe Flash Player and Office 2011 update worked!
Thank you very much,
Kind regards,

Adobe Flash Player for budget Android phone
I haven't own any android phone yet. I am a super poor person and my budget only allow me to buy Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 Android Phone. Any phones expensive than that phone are ALL NOT AFFORDABLE.
I need to use Flash Player as I frequently access flash based website. But, Adobe Flash Player for mobile require a phone with VGA (640 x 480) resolution. The phone I stated above does not meet the requirement.
As I said above, my budget only allow me to buy Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 and any other phones expensive than that are not affordable. So, tell me what can I do?
And, to Adobe, why don't you consider making a version for super low-end budget android phone like the one I stated above? Please consider doing something for users with very limited budget. I am sure there are a lot of demands there.
Regards,Hi, I understand what you have explained but Adobe Flash Player can only be available on those phones that are able to run Flash Player. Google owns the Operating System of the Android phones and they decide which phones will support Flash Player and then the Manufacturer produces the phones for Google.
The phone Samsung Galaxy Mini S5570 (Android) is not on the list
Just like Microsoft came out with IE9, but I can't use it since it won't work on XP
You are smart in trying to find out before you buy a phone that can't use Flash Player:-)
Do you live in the United States? If not, the Country you live in may have different phones and requirements too.
This is a list of the Phones that you can look at, then go to the websites to read about other phones and their prices.

There is no Flash Player for iOS devices. Adobe has to make a Flash player for each different computing platform. Just because Flash exists for Mac and Windows computers, does not automatically mean it exists for completely different mobile operating systems.
Adobe ceased development of Flash for all mobile devices way back in November 2011. It has even been removed from Android devices as of August 2012.

When will the Adobe flash player return to all Apple mobile devices?
I think that Apple should very well eliminate these restrictions by reintroducing the Adobe Flash Player back into all Apple mobile devices sometime this spring or summer.

And everybody should be nice to each other beginning Wednesday.
And no more taxes beginning next year.
Oh.. and cheap gas by the end of summer.

Mobile device compatibility. Re: Adobe flash player
Is the archived version or the latest Adobe flash player, compatible with an HTC EVODesign4g device with Google Chrome.
Hi George, 1st I'd go to this site & see if it says that version is installed...
http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about
Also, did you Repair Permissions & reboot after the Install?
If you want to downgrade after all, then get the uninstaller for your version then go here...
