Adobe flash player to add audio player and playlist on website

Hi there,
I used Adobe Flash Player to add videos to the VIDEOS page of a website. I imported the videos one by one in flash and then chose a skin from the wizard and all went well.
Now, I have an "AUDIO" page where I'm supposed to add a player and a playlist of audio files... can I do that using Adobe Flash Player as well? If yes, how?

I have two laptops. I have installed Adobe Flash CS5 in my first laptop (Windows XP). When I start the application, it shows the following message:

I have installed the Flash CS5 in my second laptop and it worked fine.

1. Reset preferences:
To reset on Windows, delete:
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Application Data Adobe\Flash CS4\
C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash\FlashAuthor.cfg
To reset on Mac OS X, delete:
/Users/username/Library/Preferences/Flash CS4 Preferences

2. Install the latest Flash update if available.
3. Install the latest version of Flash.
4. Install current Windows service packs and other updates.

How do I add certain songs and playlists to my iPhone but not others?

Hi all,
I recently installed iTunes 11.0 onto my MacBook Pro, and I yearn for the days of far simpler content management. All I want to do is add certain songs and playlists from my computer onto my iPhone without re-syncing the entire thing (every time I do, sound files that I created for work find their way onto my phone, and I have to re-delete them every time). But I can't figure out how to simply add ONE song or ONE playlist to what is already there. In the previous version, it was so simple--just point, click, and drag. Now I can't figure it out and I feel like an idiot. Can anyone show me how to do such an absurdly simple thing?

When you sync your phone with your laptop (or other device that has the songs you want), go into your music preferences and choose "Selected playlists, artists, albums and genres." This should allow you to select the three songs you want from your library. Make sure to click or tap on "apply" or else the changes will not be saved. Let the phone completely sync and those three songs should be in your phone's music library.

Trying to add audio player progress bar

Hi
I'd like to add a progress bar to my flash audio player.
Right now you press a button, a certain sound loads and then plays.
Here's part of the code:

In order to build a progress bar I wanted to find out the length or duration of the sound but I keep getting error messages or 0s in return
trace (my_sound.duration);
tells me that duration is an undefined property
trace (my_sound.length);
trace (my_sound.position);
trace (my_sound.bytesTotal);
trace (my_sound.bytesLoaded);
all give me a 0 in return
Any idea why? Why can't I access the properties of my Sound?
I'd also be very thankful for any other suggestions on how to add a progress bar. I searched a number of websites, but most samples are AS2 code...

I have downloaded Adobe Flash several times and I still cannot play BBC i-player, the download says it is successful but when I come to listen to a station it tells me to download Adobe again?

If your the Administer you should be able to go to Finder and click downloads then delete the Adobe download file (to delete the file you have to select it and push command and delete). Also check your Applications if the application is there too. If your not the Administer, your account on the computer could be blocked from deleting downloads and applications, so you need the Administer to do these steps (if you're not the Administer you still could be able to delete downloads and applications).

Adobe flash 10.1.85.3 freezes and takes Firefox3.6.12 running in Windows 7 with it needing task manager used to terminate the conatainer container process or firefox.exe to recover

Almost every time I load any page containing a video and attempt to view it Firefox will crash and become totally unresponsive. It seems that the Adobe flash player add on is responsible but the crash protection feature does not function and the only way to recover is to terminate either the add on container process or Firefox using Task Manager
Other add-on's installed are:
Adobe Acrobat 9.4.0.195
Google Earth 1.0.0.1
Google Update 1.2.183.39
Java toolkit 6.0.220.4
Java Platform SE 6 U22 6.0.220.4
Mozilla Default plug-in 1.0.0.15
Open Office 3.2.9497.500

Disabling all or any of these does not help.

I find that in this exact configuration that Firefox simply crashes with that crash window. I have Disabled ALL extensions and plugins, Firefox works. Then I install ONLY Flash 10.1.85.3 and Firefox 3.6.12 crashes, running on Windows 7.

Add audio files and control play in pdf

Hi, newbie here. I have a set of large text documents in Word and corresponding mp3 audio files. I am trying to create pdf's with the audio files embedded at specific points in the text. I can put audio in and play it, but there is no controls for the audio. I have seen a pdf file with a play-pause-stopbar that works, but cannot figure out how to do it. Any and all help is greatly appreciated. Using Acrobat Pro7 (can upgrade if needed). Thanks

Adobe Flash Security Update Question Version 9 and 10

In the article it detailed that Adobe issued a security update for its Flash Player. This was on February 26, 2009.
Why were we unaware of this update? So I went to the link to find out what version of Flash did I have on my Macbook Pro, it was this: You have version 9,0,151,0 installed
I was unsure of whether to update to Flash 10, do you recommend updating to Flash 10, what are the pros and cons?
The article had a link if you wanted to keep Flash 9 but get the security update. So I tried to download and install the Flash 9 update. When I got to the install part it said it was unable to install, something of a preinstall failure, I did not write down the error message. Why is it not installing?
Is it because in the last Leopard security update this issue was resolved? Is that also the reason we were notified of this Adobe security update?
What other programs come preinstalled with Leopard or Safari that we need to check the security on our own????

Yes, you should update your FlashPlayer. The latest version includes the security update but doesn't say so.
You should also ensure you have installed Apple's security update 2009-001.
The latest version of Adobe FlashPlayer can be obtained from here:

What do you mean by 'never shows up on the computer'? Flash Player is a browser plugin and works in the browser, not outside, unless you have a SWF file you want to open, in which case you'll need the Flash Player projector.
What browser are you using? If you launch the Control Panel and go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features do you see Adobe Flash Player listed?
