Adobe flash player won't install, 2 different error messages

i have a windows xp and i use internet explorer 32-bit. yesterday, i restarted my computer and when it was back up and running an update for adobe flash 10.1 popped up and i clicked install. however, i received an error message saying that i was not connected to the internet, when in fact, i was on the internet on facebook. i'm confused as to why it would not download when i was connected to the internet. today i went to the adobe website and tried to download adobe flash again. this time i received an error message saying "installation encountered errors: actionlist not found." yes, i have tried all of the trouble shooting tips. i also called comcast, my internet provider to make sure that nothing was wrong with my internet conncections. they said i'd have to contact adobe because the problem was not my internet connection.

Download the installer from the link in http://forums.adobe.com/thread/889580 and save it to disk.  Close all browser windows, then run the downloaded installer.

  • Flash Player won't install, see error message

Here is the error message I get:  The instruction at "0x082b00068" referenced memory at "0x082b00068.  The memory could not be "written"
The quote marks are in the message-I did not add them.  I use Exlporer 8, Windows XP on a CompaqPresario laptop.  This all began yesterday when I tried to view a video on youtube.  Never had a problem before, but the video didn't show and in its place was a message:  Hello, you either have Java Script turned off or an old version of Adobe's Flash Player.  Get the latest Flash Player. (this last bit is a link).  I have tried and tried, but get nowhere.  I have uninstalled the Flash Player.  I have checked to see if Java is enabled.  I am not too tech savvy, so this is a mystery to me.  Help, please.

  • Adobe Flash Player won't install into Firefox, even when using the offline installer, and downloading it through Firefox

Ever since the latest update of the Adobe Flash Player, I think it came out this week.
I can't seem to get it to work with Firefox, I have downloaded the installer, it installs successfully, then I check in Firefox to see if it works. It says that I need to install it?!?! I have tried the offline installer of the Adobe Flash Player, I also tried installing it through Firefox (when you click "Install missing plugins"). That just fails instantly.
I posted on the Adobe Forums, but no luck.
I am getting frustrated with this! I have never had problems with installing the Flash Player, and I didn't install this version any different from the previous versions. Flash Player was working well until the latest update of Flash Player was released.
If I go to C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash, it shows all the Flash Player files, but it's not showing up in the Firefox addon manager, and not working on YouTube, or any other Flash Player sections of sites.
    I installed the 64-bit version, because I have a 64-bit Windows.
It works on IE, but not on Firefox.
It seems like it installs fine, but then it doesn't looks like it "installs" it into Firefox. Or whatever...
Also, I have tried uninstalling it with the Adobe 64-bit Uninstaller, restarting my PC after uninstalling, then install the 64-bit Flash Player for Firefox... doesn't work.
I have done EVERYTHING I can do to try and get it to work, no luck...
Please, any help with be appreciated!

  • Adobe Flash Player won't install on Mac OS X 10.6.4

I cannot get Adobe Flash Player to install properly on an iMac running OS X 10.6.4. I download the software, run the installer, it appears to install successfully but I receive an error message when I attempt to run a video on Safari: You need to upgrade your Adobe Flash Player to watch this video. When I view Library > Application Support > Adobe there is no Flash Player folder. What's strange is that Flash Player was working properly one week prior. My machine specifics:
Processor: 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 4 GB 1067 MHz RAM
    Safari: Version 5.0.1 (6533.17.8)

  • Adobe flash player won re-install

A few days ago i started experiencing problems with video players and adobe flash . For some reason in the middle of a video the screen turned green and started making static noise.
I also couldnt use some websites and their features because they said i needed an upgraded version of adobe flash player. When i went to download the latest version it said "chrome already has a built in adobe flash player and will update it".  I went to the control panel and uninstalled adobe flash, when i went to re-install it, first the installation went to 60% and then said lost  "connection.retrying connection"When i tried installing it a few more times it went to 100% successfully, but then an error occured and said "the side by side configuration of this application is  incorrect...."
the weird thing is i dont have flash installed, but yet i am still experiencing the same problems as the ones i had when i had an old version of flash (nothing is worse, it stayed the same)
    Please help me.
    Problems i am experiancing:
    1. All the video players, except Youtube either wont start or regularly turn green and start making static noise.
2.Sites like photo editing sites say i have an old version of flash player
3.Sometimes pictures  glitch out and apear deformed and pixelated

Could you please try the following: It has some steps that you need to perform after uninstalling.

  • Warning: Your Adobe Flash Player version is outdated. (false error message)

When I get this false error message and click on the link, Adobe tells me my current Flash Player version is 11.9.900.170 and "Your system is: Windows 64-bit, English". I actually have an iMac with OSX 10.7.5, and Adobe Flash Player 11.9.900.170 already installed. I've reinstalled, deleted Flash Player completely and reinstalled several times and yet I continue getting these false "Windows 64-bit" update needed error messages for my iMac computer. How do I stop these false error messages?

I'm having a similar issue on both my Macbook Pro (OSX Mavericks), my iPhone 5S (iOS 7.0.4) and my wife's iPhone 5C (iOS 7.0.4). It happens on almost every site I viisit and when I launch some apps. I've cleared histories, caches and turned Javascript on/off. Also, get the "warning" when I use Chrome for iOS. I've added an image below of what it looks like on my phone. I'm attempting a factory restore on my 5S. I'll let you know if it helps.

  • Adobe flash player won't install, it was poping up and I deleted it

I am using Internet explorer 8 and I was having a problem on a site I could not log on so they had me delete all cookies and browsing history and restart that solved their problem but now I had the problem of adobe poping up all the time every time I opened ANY new tab it poped up with the message that adobe was interfering and do I want it to run. I am NOT going to keep clicking EVERY time I use my damned browser. so I deleted  adobe and tried to reinstall it but now it will not reinstall. I says nothing when I reinstall then when I try to install again it says it is already installed but when I check with unistall it is NOT there.
You can see with the diagnotic page what my system is

It's the security settings of Internet Explorer that caused these pop-ups; just readjust the security settings, and these pop-ups will no longer occur.
To reinstall Flash Player, try a clean install: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/928315
