Adobe Flash Pro CS6 removes the native extensions section of my app descriptor

In CS5.5 I had some problems with native extensions, but that's ok, since CS5.5 was not ANE-aware (it was released before that).
But in CS6, it's even worse. It just deletes the whole <extensions>...</extensions> from my "xxx-app.xml" descriptor file each time I publish my SWF. Why?
It shouldn't do that! CS6 supposedly works with ANEs (it even has a special ANE icon in the "ActionScript settings" window, whereas CS5.5 didn't), so why is it removing my extensions from the descriptor?

To the right under "Target: AIR for Android" or "Target:AIR for iOS", click the wrench and go to the "permissions" tab. Check "Manually manage permissions and manifest additions".
I know that helped when it was messing with my intent filters and other stuff I entered (Stuff inside the CDATA/manifestadditions).
Not sure if it helps with the <extensions> tag, but its not deleting mine...
You could also try putting <extensions> directly after </android>, thats where mine is. I suspect some entries have to be in a specific order.

Adobe Flash Pro CS6 -- cursor and focus issues

This is OS specific as it works fine in the Snow Leopard.
I am having issues with nearly everything involved with switching between apps / focusing on text windows / getting the cursor to appear where I click / etc since upgrading to Mountian Lion/Mavericks while using Flash Professional CS6.
Example problems:
I click on the Flash icon in the menu bar (twice because the new Mac OS's have focus problems in the dock with mission control enabled) the OS will sometimes switch to the space containing Flash (sometimes not but let's focus on the Flash focus issues). I hover over the code window, I scroll with the mousewheel down the page to where I want to edit the code, I CLICK exactly where I want to paste it, hit cmd+C -- then it pastes the code NOT THERE but instead where the cursor was before (at the top of the page)... So essentially I have to double or triple click everything in Flash all the time. I just click like crazy anymore on everything all the time, but in Flash it's really unpredictable.
This happens on both of my work computers (both 10.8.5)
and my Mac Pro (10.9) but not my MacBook Pro that is still extremely fortunate enough to have 10.6 on it.

What you need is an inner Graphic symbol. What I mean by Graphic symbol is when you select all your letters and hit "F8", choose "Graphic" instead of "MovieClip." In the properties panel, you'll see that one of the sections is called "Looping." Select"play once" (the default is "Loop"). Inside that graphic should be the animation of the letters moving in from left to right.
On the outer timeline, put a keyframe at the same frame number where the Graphic's animation ends. Change the Looping to "Single Frame" and then type in the frame number of the last frame. You can then create a motion tween that animates the graphic symbol upward at its final frame.

I can not use pen tool to make smooth curves.

Adjust your drawing preferences as well. If it recognizes shapes/lines/etc it will try to optimize it.
Here's a CS5.5 panel but CS6 shouldn't be too far off:
If it's told to recognize any straight lines or shapes, you start to get those angled/straight lines.

What are the steps need to be taken after download the Adobe Flash Pro CS6? The tools have not been working properly without Adobe Technician remote control over and take a look at it and do the stuff which i don't know : they are not available on the weekend and I have to finish my home.

if you're having a problem with the flash pro tools, you can:
reset your preferences by holding down shift-ctrl-alt while starting flash pro. if done correctly you'll see a confirmation dialog.
if that fails, reinstall flash pro.

How to install latest AIR SDK (13 or 14) in Flash Pro CS6?

Hi, I'm using Adobe Flash Pro CS6 on Windows 7 64-bit and I wanted to add latest Adobe AIR SDK, either 13 or 14, but non of them is seen as a valid SDK by Flash.
I've tried downloading two possible SDKs (SDK & compiler and SDK without compiler) from here: Download Adobe AIR SDK (version 13) and here http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/air.html (version 14). Each time I copied the extracted SDK folder to my Flash CS6 folder where default 3.2 and 3.4 SDKs are located. After that I open Flash, then Help > Manage Air SDK, click on " + ", browse for the new folder, and all I get is "The selected folder does not contain a valid AIR SDK" warning message. It all looks the same with all four SDKs I downloaded!
Not long ago I added AIR 4.0 without any problems. What am I doing wrong? Is new SDK Flash CC only or what?

What are you naming the folder?
Just as a general tip, since many applications (Flash CS4, 5, 5.5, 6, CC) you can save some space by only putting the AIR SDK in one place. Since CS6 and CC have "Manage AIR SDK" in their settings you no longer need to locate that folder like 5.5 which requires you to overlay the AIR 2.6 folder. So save some space and put it anywhere out of the way, out of the Flash folder. I have multiple drives and I have lots of SDKs installed at root on my E:\ (E:\SDK\AIR, E:\SDK\JDK, E:\SDK\Android, etc). I then just go in the help panel like you do and point CS6 and CC to E:\SDK\AIR and they work perfectly fine with the latest SDK released recently.
Are you updating Flash Player to 13 as well?
Last, do not download the Flex version for Flash. Flex is for Flash Builder if you intend on using Flex (it is different than Flash).

Why does Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 have the same tired titling templates as version 2? where can I find more? In a fast paced, public access tv environment, we don't have the luxury of spending two hours creating some dazzling after effect.

Switching from Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 to Adobe Premiere Pro CC

I am currently renting Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 through the creative cloud. What all would I have to do to switch to Adobe Premiere Pro CC. Is there anyway to just switch from my current subscription with Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 to Adobe Premiere Pro CC. Or would I have to buy a whole new subscription to upgrade to Adobe Premiere Pro CC?

the acrobat dc installer will uninstall your acrobat pro xi. you'll see a warning when you start the installation.

Flash Pro CS6 iOS Native Extension Problem

I am trying out flash pro CS6 new features.
The most important one being ANEs [native extensions].
in flash builder 4.6, when using an ANE for ios, it is sometimes required to put the ios5 SDK location [ -platformsdk in ADT].
This is completely missing in Flash Pro CS6 IDE, any way around that?

Uhmm, i'm doing a kind-of-360º-panorama-app and we need Gyroscope and Ad-hoc / AppStore distribution. And i've tried to get an answer of any kind from guys on Adobe on their AIR facebook fan page and here.
SHould we write our own gyroscope ANE?, have any of you succesfully compiled ad-hoc or app-store with Ketzler Euler Gyroscope ANE?

Why isn't the Adobe Exchange Panel opening in Flash Pro CS6?

It says it's installed but when I go to Window>Extensions>
and then there is nothing, no other menu to go from.

How did you install the Adobe Exchange extension?
I would recommend downloading the latest updates for Extension Manager from here:

...and downloading the latest Adobe Exchange ZXP from www.adobeexchange.com (it was updated on Friday). Make sure that you open the ZXP with Adobe Exchange CS6 for it to be available in Flash Pro CS6. If you also have Extension Manager CS5 installed, it's possible that you've accidentally installed the panel into Flash Pro CS5.

How to add the google swiffy extension to Flash Pro CS6 or CC

I have downloaded the google swiffy extention however after adding it to flash pro inthe extension manager it has a check box saying (enabled) but it doesnt show under window>extensions in the Flash pro app. Are there any guides on how to do this or somehting im missing? I've heard Flash CC could support html extensions so I installed Flash CS6 but that doesn't let me add the extension either. Any support with this is would be very nice.

Thanks I see the export feature however I just have one last issue with it, when I try to export a simple swf that contains a simgle tween I get this error http://puu.sh/6DRYl.png. What can I do about that?
Edit- this only happens with Flash Pro CC not the CS6 version.

Flash CS6 IDE Air Native Extensions problem HELP

i'm trying to test out CS6's new native extension (ANE) but I'm having a difficult time getting it to work.
First I went to Adobe's page: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/air/native-extensions-for-air.html
Downloaded the "Vibration" ane and then through the Actionscript settings panel added the .ane file to my app and then in my actionscript tried to add the code:

But when I go to compile I get this error:

What do I need to do to get this running? I've tried several different things and variations on the above code but nothing seems to do it. Help!

Flash Pro CS6 Update menu greyed out + AAM fail,supressed by the Admin - Win7-64

Hi,
I want to update Flash Pro Cs6 (PC Win7 64bit) to Update2.
However, the menu Help>Updates is greyed out.
The Update2 AMM patch installer says "updates could not be applied. Contact your system Admin. Updates have been suppressed by the Admin"
before starting.
This seems to point towards a privilege issue but, I have tried to :
run Flash as admin, run the updater as admin, install flash logged in as admin and updater logged in as admin,
without any luck....

Manually update Creative Suite 6 products
Go to the Adobe.com Product updates site and choose the update you want to download.
When the download completes, start the update by double-clicking the Set-up.exe (Windows)
Prompted to shut down conflicting applications, do the following:
Windows
Right-click the taskbar and select Task Manager.
Select the Processes tab, select a conflicting process, and click End Process.
Repeat for any additional conflicting processes.
Check to see if the update downloaded successfully.
