Adobe Flash won't install on Mac
So once I've downloaded and begun the installation process for Adobe Flash, the installer asks to close certain running programs. However, while i am downloading adobe flash it is asking me to close com.apple.Webkit.Plugin.64. I have no other applications open, and when i alt+tab the only two things running are finder and the adobe installer. So, my question is, what it com.apple.Webkit.Plugin.64.

I had the same error/issue and this how I quickly fixed it:
Step 1: Visit this site to download a previous version Archived Flash Player versions
Step 2: Download version -> (Released 9/9/2014) Flash Player 15.0.0.152 (Win Firefox and Mac) (132 MB) (though I believe any recent MAC version should do, this just worked for me)
Step 3: Install the Flash player from Step 2.
Step 4: Download and install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player (that wouldn't initially work)
Step 5: Problem should be solved. You're just reverting your update and re-installing it to fix it.

How to perform a "clean install" of Flash Player in Mac OS X -
I've have tried everything I can think of to try to install
adobe flasher. I had it on this computer for a long time and now it
just won't install properly. Everytime i try to install it, it says
that I need to install the Active X. I then try to install Active
X, but I always get a note that tells me that the instalation

1. Login as the User that has the incorrect permissions in
the system registy
2. unzip the “reset_minimal.cmd” and the
“subinacl.exe” to the desktop
*** Make sure both files are on the desktop
3. Close out all applications
4. Run the “reset.cmd” file
5. It will open a DOS like terminal and start running through
registry keys
6. When it is finished it will say “press any key to
continue”
7. At this point you can download the latest Flash Player
from here:
www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer

Flash won't install on Mac 10.10
My mac is OS X yosemite version 10.10 and saying flash was out of date so I followed instructions to update didn't work tried all the trouble shooting (including uninstalling flash and try reinstalling it) didn't work. It goes there the whole download process then toward the end it starts installing then says general installation error.

Adobe Flash won't install into Firefox.
I've tried to install Adobe Flash Player numerous times. I go to their web site and download the installer. I then run it as an administrator and it says that it installed fine. However, when I get into Firefox V30.0 and go to Add-Ins Manager, it's not listed. I've tried uninstalling the add-in from "Add and Remove Programs" from Control Panel and install it again. I've tried uninstalling Firefox and downloading a new copy and then installing Adobe Flash Player again. I've re-booted my computer numerous times. Nothing works.

Adobe Flash won't install on Mavericks?
About three days ago, Adobe Flash disappeared from my OsX (Mavericks) system. I have tried to reinstall it without success. I contacted Apple Support, paid them their $19 one-incident support fee, and they were NOT able to solve the problem either. I even disabled my anti virus sw (Norton) on a temporary basis. Still no joy. Any ideas w/b appreciated.
If Flash Player does install, it puts two items into /Library/Internet Plug-Ins and adds a prefPane to System Preferences. Check those.If no go, contact Apple's Support, formerly Apple Express Lane, and let them deal with it, since it's a new machine.

None of my Flash updates were successful, so I proceeded to uninstall my Adobe Flash Player as suggested by the website. Now, I cannot redownload the program. I have tried every bit of trouble shooting. I have even taken my macbook to a specialist. I am at a loss as to what the next step it, but I am really suffering without my Flash Player! Does anyone have any ideas? I am running version 10.10.1 OS X Yosemite.
This occurs each and every time that I attempt to download the program back onto my laptop. Any ideas? I've emptied my trash, my downloads, my library, my caches. I don't know what else to try, but I desperately need this program back on my Mac.

Adobe Edge won't install on Mac
Hi I'm using Apple Mac OS X 10.8.3. When I go to install Edge Animate in the Application Manager, I get an error stating that I need to close the program and uninstall the beta. Adobe Edge Animate is not listed when I search in the Programs and Features list of programs to uninstall. I'm a Creative Cloud Member and this is the only App I cannot install and use. Please help! I was a little confused when you said you are on Max 10.8.3 and looked in Programs and Features list of programs to uninstall, usually the Programs and Features is on Windows not Mac. Are you using Bootcamp?
Can you close out of everything and check if there is an option to uninstall here:
Control Panel > Programs & Features (Windows 7/8)
Mac HD > Applications > Utilities > Adobe Installers (Mac OS X)

The installer wil pop up in the downloads window but from there it prompts me to continue to relaunch and continues to fail.

Computer has MobileIron on it, but there shouldn't be any restrictions on my computer from that.
Have an almost identical computer that it worked fine on on the same network I am currently connected too so firewall shouldn't be an issue.
Also tried on multiple networks.

I cannot get Adobe Flash Player to install properly on an iMac running OS X 10.6.4. I download the software, run the installer, it appears to install successfully but I receive an error message when I attempt to run a video on Safari: You need to upgrade your Adobe Flash Player to watch this video. When I view Library > Application Support > Adobe there is no Flash Player folder. What's strange is that Flash Player was working properly one week prior. My machine specifics:
Processor: 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory: 4 GB 1067 MHz RAM

If you can't install or update Flash, follow these instructions.
If you have installed the latest version of Flash, please take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. After each step, relaunch Safari and test.
For a "blocked plug-in" error, see Step 4.
For a "missing plug-in" error, start with Step 8.
Back up all data before making any changes.
Step 1
You might have to log out or restart the computer before a Flash update takes effect.
Step 2
From the Safari menu bar, select
Safari ▹ Preferences... ▹ Privacy ▹ Remove All Website Data...
and confirm. Close the window. Then select

Trying to install Adobe Flash Player 11 on my Mac. The insallation stops and I am told to exit something called PlugInProcess. I don't know what it is. I don't show it being open. Any help?
The Plugin Process is an app that runs alongside Firefox and Safari when they're open. Lately Firefox's plugin process has been "hanging" on my Mini. I'll close the app but it keeps running and using RAM for several minutes.
Download the Mac Offline Installer here
Quit your browser and reboot if necessary to "kill" all processes.
