Adobe Flashruntime Pop Up

Each time I get on the Internet I am constantly getting a pop up from Adobe Systems Inc. wanting me to open something called: Adobe Flashruntime. I have checked all boxes, and keep deleting the pop up, but it keeps coming back! How do I get rid of this? Thanks!

I have the same problem.  Every time I open my PC, or left click on something, a screen pops up which reads "Internet Explorer Security-
A website wants to open web content using this program on your computer.  This program will open outside of Protected mode...
Name: Adobe Flashruntime
Publisher: Adobe Systems Incorporated"
This screen contains boxes as well, one to check to not show the message again and a box to click on titled "Accept" or "Do Not Accept".
Regardless, when I check the "do not show message again" and the "Do Not Accept" boxes, the screen will reappear every time I left click, and often mulitple tmes, as many as six (6) times before I can proceed.
I have Windows Home Vista operating system and use Windows Explorer as my brouser.
Can you help me delete this screen from my Dell PC?

  • Flash player doesn't work -  How to get rid of Flashruntime pop-ups

    I have 2 problems:
    1.
My Flashplayer stopped working months ago, when using Internet Explorer. It does Work when using Firefox.
    I prefer using Internet Explorer.
Now I have uninstalled Flashplayer and installed Again - same situation.
I have also tried to install Adobe Air with no positive result.
    2.
For some time I have had the problem of Flashruntime pop-ups continously, no matter which website I opened. I could not click it away - or admit.
By advice from Microsoft I have reinstalled Internet Explorer. Now the Flashruntime still comes up when I open certain websites but not quite as heavy as before.
I have blocked pop-ups. The Flashruntime does not appear on the list of add-on programs where you have the possibility of deactivating.
Please see Picture of the pop-up (in Danish text) above.
I hope you can suggest solutions for me

Need more specifics about what error messages you got while installing Adobe Flash.
However, you can almost avoid Flash altogether by setting YouTube to play the HTML5 version instead.
Click the Try something new! link at the bottom of the YouTube page.
I don't know about the sound issue. Might be hardware as you think. Try other headphones to check.

I have had the same problem. Adobe doesn't have an answer. I highly recommend dumping Nook and going to Kindle.

    Hi Lhughes0,
    Try these steps:
    1. Select the .jpeg file
    2. Right click on that  file and on context menu go to the last option which says "Properties"
    3. Now you will see the option where you change the program to use for opening your file
    4. Instead of Adobe Reader select Windows Photo there.
    5. Apply and say OK to it
    Give it a try

  • Problem with an Adobe Updater pop up....?

    Hi all,
I have windows XP Home.  When I want to open Adobe PDF files, the first couple of files open ok, but then eventually, the Adobe Reader Updater box opens up telling me that it is downloading an update, but nothing happens, no download takes place, the download progress bar just remains inactive and it just sits in the open programme box, bottom right of screen.  When I X out of the box it goes back to the bottom right of screen and again just sits there.  From this point on, everytime I try and open a pdf file, the box pops up again, and the file will not open....!!
Can someone tell me how to correct this please?  Why is it doing this and not downloading the update...  I have checked and the Adobe on my PC is up to date, so it tells me.....
    Cheers....

    Hi Pat,
Tried to download the acrobatcleaner, but it wouldnt download, and that box came back again saying downloading an update........... So, I did a system restore back to a few months ago.... and it seems to have worked... at least I hope it has,no boxes appear, and that dowloading update has gone and not returned.... I have updated from your link, the Reader 11.0.6, and all seems well.
I would like to thank you Pat for your time and trouble in this matter, and helping me sort it out....  Cheers to you...

  • Adobe Security Pop-up & Links Not Working

    Folks,
Within my Captivate 4 project I have links going to several locations to access supporting information (e.g., job aids, LMS). When I click on the link from a published version of the project, I get a message from "Adobe Flash Player Security". stating that my Flash file (the project) is trying to communicate with an "Internet-enabled location" and then it displays the name of the site (of the job aids, LMS ...). It also allows me to click on the "Settings" button (on the Adobe pop-up) which then takes me a global security panel. I have tried inserting the name of the sites that the links are going to as well as the original Captivate flash file name in which case none of the links work (I click on the links and not even the original Adobe pop-up (Adobe Flash Player Security) appears.
Note: If from Captivate, I "preview" the project, all the links work as desired.
Note: If I publish the project as "Media" (an .exe file), all the links work as desired.
    Any ideas?
Any ideas how I can fix this going forward automatically so it does not happen to my end users?
Thanks in advance for your support!!!

  • Adobe Flash Pop-ups. They're so small, I can hardly read them. Virus or not?

I'm just trying to view the tutorials, but these pop-ups are continuous and annoying. They seem to want permission to load something on my computer. Is anyone familiar with this and how should I handle it?

    Check out Adobe TV

  • Adobe updates pop up on my PC almost daily.

I find it a bit distracting that Adobe pushes out updates so often.  They seem to come on a daily basis.  Pop ups will appear in the middle of something I am working on and will not go away until I select to update the product.  It would be nice to have the option to select 'not now' or 'remind me later' so I can complete the work I need to get done.  To have to stop what I am working on just to have this update stop popping up is bothersome.

I wonder if something is wrong on your system. A rough estimate is that there have been only 6 updates to Reader X (10) in the last two years, and no updates at all to Reader XI (11). A total of 17 for Reader 9 in 3 years.

  • Adobe DPS - pop-up panels video tutorial for Indesign Digital Magazine problem?

    Hello Everyone
Trying to get info in a video tutorial for pop-up panels tutorial for a Digital Magazine I'm working on.
Had advice to do a Multi-State Object - but this is exactly what I need it for and would love a video link i(f any is around).
Doing a digital Tech Magazine - have about 12 images on a page.
Want to touch one image and want a pop-up text box with Tech info on this product come up - I want all other images on page to ghost out on doing this - and then I need a button to click to close the panel down and go back to document and ready to click on another picture.
Is there a tutorial online on how to do this. Hope someone has a link pleaae.
    thanks: Daz

Here's the best way to attack this as a beginner.
Create multipage InDesign file with number of pages being equal to the
number of states you want for your MSO.
On the first page design the base state. Copy/paste everything to the second
page and now design the second state.
On and on until you're done. Now group everything on each page and
copy/paste in place everything into one page. Create the MSO.
This is going to give you a pretty heavy file but will give you a good
foundation for the thought process needed to do this.
