  • HP Photosmart 7200 Colors are Wrong When Printing on Photo Paper

    I'm running Windows 7 and am having a problem when printing on photo paper.  The colors are off; mainly green.  The colors are fine when printing on plain paper.  I have tried printing from my computer as well as straight from the media card.  Same result.  I am also using HP Photo Premium glossy paper.  Print cartridges are brand new and are loaded correctly.
    Any solutions or troubleshooting tips I can try?

  • Highlighter colors look muddy when printed from Acrobat 8, X, and Reader XI to Xerox WC7775, 7665

    Highlighter colors look muddy when printed to Xerox WC7775, 7665(applies to Acrobat 8 Std, Acrobat X Std, Reader XI).  I tried the latest PS and PCL6 drivers from xerox.com.  How can I troubleshoot / fix this so highlighter colors look bright when printed?
    When printing highlighted text from other applications (like Word) from the same computers to the same printers, the highlighter color is bright.  Users print PDFs for distribution to clients so they would like the printed documents to look good.
    Thanks

    I have tried the WCS sRGB, scRGB and ICC U.S. Web Coated (SWOP) v2 color profiles.  sRGB and scRGB are very slightly brighter than the default and SWOP but still much more muddy than the bright yellow from a Word document.  I just started digging in to this today so any helpful hints would be greatly appreciated.

  • Using Adobe form to import images

    Is it possible to have third parties submit pictures via an Adobe form and compile the images in a format that can be imported into our ecommerce site [link removed by moderator]? I know the forms can produce csv files but not sure how they work with images. Thanks

    Do you need the image to be a part of the file (ie, embedded on the page), or just as an attachment to it? The latter is easily done, the former not so much.
    Either way it requires that the file be used in either Acrobat or Reader XI, though.

    Hello
    Create a form with standard layout and it should work. Once the webservice is created and maintained in SOAADMIN, make sure the user has the relevant authorizations w.r.t to webservices, so that the form can call the webservice.
    hope this helps.

  • Adobe Forms and Dynamic Images

    Hi all,
    I have a table in my Interactive Form and I need to add a dynamic image for each row of this table according with the URL field of my node, so i've done the steps of the tutorial "Dynamic Non-Interactive PDF Form", adding a image field, setting none for default binding, setting the url field as $record.Images[*].URL and then, adding the following FormCalc expression to initialize the image: this.value.image.href = xfa.resolveNode(this.value.image.href).value;
    Well, my node Images return 3 records and when I run the app, the following message returns:
    Script failed (language is formcalc; context is xfa[0].form[0].dataSource[0].Images[0].subImageTable[0].subImageRow[0].imageField[0])
    script=this.value.image.href = xfa.resolveNode(this.value.image.href).value;
    Error: SOM Expression returned list when single result was expected
    Script failed (language is formcalc; context is xfa[0].form[0].dataSource[0].Images[0].subImageTable[0].subImageRow[1].imageField[0])
    script=this.value.image.href = xfa.resolveNode(this.value.image.href).value;
    Error: SOM Expression returned list when single result was expected
    Script failed (language is formcalc; context is xfa[0].form[0].dataSource[0].Images[0].subImageTable[0].subImageRow[2].imageField[0])
    script=this.value.image.href = xfa.resolveNode(this.value.image.href).value;
    Error: SOM Expression returned list when single result was expected
    So, anyone here knows how to add a dynamic image to a table row?
    Thanks in advance
    []'s

    I solved it now, just changing the FormCalc expression.
    Instead of using the expression:
    this.value.image.href = xfa.resolveNode(this.value.image.href).value;
    I used this:
    this.value.image.href = xfa.record.Images.URL;
    The URL value of Image Field, in this case is:
    <b>$record.Images[*].URL</b>
    And, to finish, I needed to add a Text Field bounded to  <b>$record.Imagens[*].URL</b>, case else the image doesn't appear.
    That's it!

  • Pdf image good in preview but distorted when printing without preview

    Hi all, I have added a graphic to my adobe form and it looks good when I view the pdf. It also prints fine when I open the pdf and then print it. The problem is when the pdf is sent directly to the printer without previewing it, the image will print but the colors will be distorted.
    The image was saved as 256 colors bmp and uploaded using SE78.
    Any help is appreciated:). Thanks.

    HI friend,
    I think it might be the problem with the printer settings just check that else what it must have happened is some code gets trigerred during the print preview which makes the color to print correctly.
    But while sending directly that part of code might not have been executed. Try to debug if possible and see whether its because of this else see the printer settings.
    I think this might be the issue there might not be any error from smartform.
    Just check the driver program print settings also.
    If you still face issues please revert back to me i will help you.
    Thanks,
    Sri Hari.

  • How does Adobe Forms Central base their automated page breaks when distributing to a PDF form?

    OR
    How can I define those page breaks before Adobe Forms Central created the PDF. I have attempted to "insert" a page break within the form; however, when distributing this form to be created as a PDF, the PDF is still placing the auto-generated page break wherever it wants.
    Is it possible to move these auto generated breaks once the PDF form is created?
    Thank you!

    Did you add the page breaks while in Web View or Page View? FormsCentral uses "web view" as the default, but uses the "page view" to show where the PDF will have page breaks. Go to the menu bar on the top right, select "view," and then select "page view." You  should be able to see page breaks here, and move them where you'd like them. It won't affect what people see on the web, just in the PDF.

  • Image becoming distorted when printing - smartform in CRM system

    We are using CRM 5.0 and have to create a smartform for the acknowledgement of the order. The output is triggered correctly but marketing want me to include an image at the top of the page. I understand that you are only able to load tif or bmp into smart forms and indeed they are printed, however when printed the image is not very clear - looks like it is resizing.
    I have tried changing the image in many different ways - and using paint shop pro for uploading the image. I have found that if using TIF the only compression option that uploads is packbits. I have saved the image with as many colours as possible and then reduced it - each time the image looks rubbish! However when I view the file (from my computer) in PSP it looks ok.
    I have searched the forums for help but not really found anything that useful. Does anyone have any suggestions how to get the image to come out as expected?
    The image stretches across the whole width of the page and just over 3cm deep. There are quite a few colours in the image and it is fairly busy.
    Driving me mad here! anyone got any ideas? Maybe I need to install additional filters or something???

    managed to get this corrected using faststone image viewer and converting images to 300 DPI.

  • Logo image in titles disappear when open project on other PC

    Hi You all!
    Got a problem with Premiere Pro CS5 regarding titles. We´re a group of people who uses the same CS5-project file as a template (write protected) from a server out on different computers.
    For each new project we open the template-project from the server and do a "save as" before we start editing on our own PC.
    The problem occurs with our titles in this template-project. We have a pretty straightforward title with a background and text created in the title editor. Then we also  import a logo in png-format in the title editor. This works great when we open the project on the same computer as its made on. But when someone opens the project on another computer from the server the image is gone and there's a "Logo" text where the logoimage was. To get the image back we ned to open the title in the editor, klick on the "logo" and the smal square in the tools to the right and browse the image file.
    This is hard unecessary work to do when we do changes etc in the template project.
    Hope there is some way to get the logo image to stay in the title when the project is used on other PC:s.
    Hope I have managed to explain the issue ok. Thanks for any help with this.

    You explained it well enough.
    But in my experience, you will have to redo the logo every time you switch computers.  I don't know why PP keeps losing that link, but it does.
    The better option would be to create the title in Photoshop, including the logo, and bring that into the template project instead of using a PP title.

  • Image Distortion When Printing

    Had an ad supplied for a book that was printed digitally. Entire book printed fine except for page with this ad. I got an image drop shadow, but it was way out of position and distorted. Printed claimed it was a bad PDF. All's I did was place a customer-supplied PDF on the page in InDesign, then exported entire book to print-ready PDF. It was fine throughout all proof stages, but when book delivered, I got the strange image distortion. ???
    Thanks.

    Hi peterpica,
    You might try printing this image with a different printer and then check.
    What version of Acrobat are you using?
    There might be some problem of low resolution from the printer.
    So, please check and let me know.
    Regards,
    Anubha

  • Why color variation between Adobe Pro 9.0 and Reader 9.0 when printing

    We recently had Adobe Pro 9.0 installed.  We've noticed that we are getting different color shades when printing from Professional versus Reader 9.0.  Actually, the Reader is printing more of what we want.  We had one document that had a background that the Reader picked up better and we also had another with a solid blue and the Reader printed that better as well.  We are printing to a Xerox 7665 color copier.  Wondering if there is a setting or something that we should try??  Thanks!

    frstrsystemI make a fix, here it is:
    1) I launch acropro 9 on the server, I go to the view->toolbars->tasks menu to  the "tasks" toolbar (which cause the crash).
    2) on the server, run regedit and go to current user\software\adobe\adobe acrobat\9.0 and export this hive on a file like acrobat9_user.reg
    3) create a acro9pro.cmd file with
    regedit /S n:\scripts\acrobat9pro_user.reg
    @start "C:\Program Files\Adobe\Acrobat 9.0\Acrobat\" Acrobat.exe
    save this file on the server
    publish your app and call the CMD instead of the acrobat file
    trick; you can map drive into the cmd so that user can access network shares and not only the server on.

  • Poor Image Quality in Pages when Printing

    I am having problems with Pages printing images poorly in my documents. The image is barely recognizable and the colors are distorted. It looks fine on the computer page before printing but does not print out well at all. If I save the file as a pdf and then print it through Acrobat, it works fine and the images look just like the ones in the computer. Since Pages and Acrobat are using the same printer and probably the same driver, I am assuming the problem is in Pages not recognizing the image properly.

    Is it an HP printer? Is the image printed in negative? Does the image have shadows?
    In that case, remove the shadows. Or use Adobe Reader, just like you do. It is one of the known work arounds for this problem.
