Adobe form connecting to Outlook address book.

Hi there,
I would like to create an adobe form and have users be able to send it to anyone they like within the organization. Is it possible to have a submit button that when clicked on opens up the Outlook address book so they can choose the person they wish?
Thank you.

Access to the address book is not allowed as fas as I know.
What do you mean by a printed PDF version .....do you mean you do not want any interaction with the form?

  • Submitting InfoPath form via Outlook Address book.

    Hi there,
Is it possible to have an info path form used so that there is a submit button and the user is able to choose the email address of their choice to have the form sent? Right now I only see the option of configuring a data connection with a pre filled in email
    address.
Example. I create a form. A user opens it and needs to submit it to one person in our organization, possibly from the Outlook address book.
I see a people picker but that does not allow you to submit.
    Thank you.

    Hi SarahShay,
You can use a people picker to store the people that you want to email, then create a submit button configured to send the form by e-mial to the people of the people picker.
More information, please refer to the link:

    I hope this helps.

  • Oracle views as MS Outlook address book

    Hi again.
During the developing of our Apex enterprise portal, I've compiled a complete set of views managing customers, employees and suppliers information, in an address book format, where you can click over an address, and automatically opening an outgoing e-mail.
After this, all is a MS Outlook and Internet provider issue, and this don't worry me.
But each user, separately manage MS Outlook address books, and obviously this is the opposite what a DBA want to see in his IT infrastructure.
At this point you can suppose we haven't any kind of e-mail server but a direct connection between the PC client and the ISP. It's right, but I would be happy creating an (easy) relation between the database and the mail client.
Somebody believe it could be easy to implement?
    Thanks a lot.

Sounds like want you want is an LDAP directory on top of your existing tables / views. You can point Outlook (or any other mail client such as Thunderbird) at an LDAP directory to use as their address book. Oracle Virtual Directory is a perfect fit here, since you can map your existing tables to LDAP structures. Oracle Internet Directory is another option, but it has it's own table structure and might be more trouble than it's worth.

  • Ideas how to sync ms outlook address book

How can I sync ms outlook address book to iPad email address book?

Connect your iPad and open iTunes. Under the info tab, scroll down and you'll see a check box to sync the iPad with outlook. Tick that and sync and you should be good to go.

  • New users are not updated in Outlook address book (Offline)

    Hi All,
We are having an Exchange 2010 environment. from few weeks we are experiencing this issue. When we create new user or change the name of a existing user, it is not updated in outlook address book. Can anyone help me to sort this issue?.
    Regs,
    Sachitha.

What is the Outlook client you are using? Is it 2003 or 2007+
You are right, you don;t have to update the OAB manually, the kind of issue you are facing is very know (As far as I experienced). After you update the OAB manually, check the issue and it should be fine.
After that create a Test User and check in Outlook if you see it populated.

  • Shared user contacts in Outlook Address book

    Hello,
I have an issue that a user who is an administrative assistant wants her bosses shared contacts (which she helps manage) to show up in her personal Outlook Address Book, so that she can send people contacts by just clicking the TO: button.  This is has proved deceptivly difficult.  Any thoughts?
Oh, this is an Exchange 2007 SP1 server, and both of the client pcs are Outlook 2007.
If we can get that up and running, she would also like to be able to export his contacts from her terminal in the CSV format.
    Thanks,
    Nathan

Has anyone had any luck with Will Shepherd's/James-Luo's method or something similar for use with Microsoft's Office 365 Exchange 2010 system?
I followed the steps and, indeed, on my Admin/User A's OL2010, the address book did list the shared contacts.  But as soon as I  selected it, it gave the error:
"The address list cannot be displayed.  The contact folder associated with this address list could not be opened;  It may have been moved or deleted, or you do not have permissions.  For information on how to remove this folder from the
Outlook Address Book, see Microsoft Outlook Help."
The shared contact folder then dissappeared from the list.
I didn't really understand Will's step 2 which James does not include.  I don't know what "Full" mailbox rights meant.  The permission levels shown are Owner, Publishing Editor, Author, Nonediting Author, Reviewer, Contributor, and none.
Setting it to Owner did not work, as in the profile, I could not change the email address back from Boss/User B to Admin/User A.  I chose Publishing editor and added a check mark for Folder Contact.
I tried these methods on numerous new OL profiles and got the same results whether the shared contacts where the the first set or a secondary set and whether or not I sent invitiations for sharing  from Boss/User A, which sets the permissions.
What good are shared contacts, Microsoft, if you can't use them?  This seems like such a basic issue that, surely, I and others have a major misunderstanding about something.
If it matters, this client does not have Sharepoint and only has the Office 365 Plan 1 with its mailboxes.
I would greatly appreciate any hint on how to make the contacts sharable and USEABLE.  Otherwise this client will likely scrap Office 365 and I will reinstall Sync2 which worked fairly well.

  • Icloud will not let me put new e-mail address into Outlook Address book

iCloud went and put all e-mail address into my Outlook address book well iCloud duplacated some of the address and when I went to clean them I deleted a few address so when I went to reinstall the address in my address book icloud would not let me install them.

Your contacts will be removed from your phone when you delete the account. Then (when you sign in again with your new ID) they will be put back.

  • New created user does appear in the outlook address book

My exchange server is 2007. I create a new new user in the exchange server. However, with outlook address book I did not see it. With OWA, I can see that user. Therefore, I am sure that Global address book works well. BTW, with those command
Update-OfflineAddresssBook -Identity "Default Offline Address Book"
Update-GlobalAddressList -Identity "Default Global Address List"
I still did not see the new created user in outlook address book.
I tried my outlook 2010 as well. I tried the action to download addressbook. Not working either. What shall I do?

    Hi,
According to your description, the new mailbox doesn’t appear in Outlook while it’s visible in OWA.
Before going further, I’d like to recommend you check if it’s visible in Outlook with online mode.
If it is, the issue is most likely related to OAB. And we can try to download a new OAB and restart related services.
For more detail steps, you can refer to the answer in the following thread:
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/626dd301-12a5-4196-9bc8-9f3ec7ef3259/new-user-not-show-up-in-gal-on-outlook
If it doesn’t show up in online mode, we can try to check if the new mailbox is visible in GAL on another computer. For more information about OAB downloading and updating, please refer to:

  • Pearl 8130 - Synching Outlook Address Book

    Hello,
I am having issues synching my Outlook address book to my Pearl.  A few contacts synched during the first batch I tested with but my Pearl has not synched since.  I have about 100 contacts still in Outlook but are not on my phone.  My calendar and tasks are synching properly so it's not a technical issue.  Please advise!
On a related note, I also have a TMobile dash and am thinking of batch porting over my contacts.  Is this possible?  I tried doing this with BB Desktop manager but it's not recognizing my Dash.  My contacts are not saved on my SIM (My Pearl does not have a SIM slot).
    Thanks!

Did you ever get an answer to this question as I am interested in the response...thank you

  • Exchange Connectivity Tool - MAPI Address Book endpoint error

We have Exchange 2007 installed and are now running into a problem with Outlook Anywhere when we introduced new 2012 Domain Controllers.
I have ran the outlook anywhere tests from the Micorosft site and run into a failure when the MAPI Address Book test occurs. It will complete fine when it connects to a 2003 domain controller, but not the 2012 domain controllers.
I have confirmed I get the right response form the 2012 domain controller when I telnet to port 6004. I confirmed there is no ipv6 on any of the servers and I can ping the netbios name and FQDN of the server from the CAS server. There is no firewall
    in between the machines
    Please see the results returned.
The server returned by the Referral service: DC2K1201.domain.local
    Elapsed Time: 1280 ms.
Testing the MAPI Address Book endpoint on the Exchange server.
An error occurred while testing the address book endpoint.
    Additional Details
    Elapsed Time: 3116 ms.
    Test Steps
Attempting to ping the MAPI Address Book endpoint with identity: DC2K1201.domain.local:6004.
The attempt to ping the endpoint failed.
Reason :- RPC_S_SERVER_UNAVAILABLE error (0x6ba) was thrown by the RPC Runtime process.

    Hi,
According to your description, I understand that Outlook Anywhere can’t work when change domain controller to another server.
If I misunderstand your concern, please do not hesitate to let me know.
I want to double confirm whether you want to remove the original DC. If so, please follow the below link with checklist of Decommissioning a Domain Controller:
    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc755937%28v=ws.10%29.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396
Besides, run Get-DomainController and Get-ADServerSettings to ensure the list of available DC.
    Best Regards,

Hello, if you have the font that Photoshop is supposed to use to write the barcode, and each image is also listed in the spreadsheet, you can use the little known feature called variables: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/photoshop/cs/using/WSfd1234e1c4b69f30ea53e41001031ab64-7417a.h tml

  • Oracle 10g client and Outlook Address Book

I have looked everywhere that I can think of, and nobody seems to have an answer to this problem. I support an extensive VB6 application, and one piece of functionality, which has been working without problems using Oracle 8i and 9i client, is now having problems when we use it on a client with 10g client installed.
The functionality in question is the ability to click a button that opens the user's Outlook Global Address Book, and return the e-mail address of the address selected. When the application is initially opened, the address book opens without problem. Once the user connects to Oracle (from within the application), from that point on, until the application is closed and restarted, clicking the button to open the address book produces the not-so-helpful error message "This application has failed to start because BJABLR32.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." The .dll is present, and the error only occurs AFTER an Oracle connection has been opened. I'm using an ADODB connection to connect to Oracle.
I have tried closing the connection, and setting the connection object to nothing, but this doesn't seem to make any difference. The Oracle connection appears to be working fine, the recordsets that are returned have the correct data in them, and updates perform correctly as well.
I have a sample application (about 175 lines of code) that I can use to consistantly reproduce the error.
If anyone can shine some light on this, it would be greatly appreciated. If this needs to be posted to a different forum, please let me know that as well. This forum seemed to be the closest match that I could find for this problem.

I am having the same problem, did you find an answer? other than resetting the Path, I shouldn't change all the client machines path
