Adobe Form with XML interface

hi all
I want to use the Adobe forms for the real estate module.
I had seen that adobe forms can have an interface with XML input and output as parameter.
In the interface type only the /DOCPARAMS an the DOCXML are INPUT parameters which are available.
No other INPUT parameter can be added to it.
When i try to retrieve the data in real estate there are some default function modules for retrieving the data from real estate.
But this function modules also are going to find out if the form which asks for this information has a IMPORT parameter
for the required data. For example, the SENDER data is retrieved, but before the default function module retrieve this data
the function module checks if the form has a INPUT parameter SENDER.
And that is not the case. And i cannot create the SENDER parameter to it, because this INTERFACE type does not allow it.
Does anybody know a solution herefore?

It is a long time ago, almost 2 years.
I created my own custom development for calling the Adobe form. This custom development uses the correct function module interface with the IMPORT XML.
The XML which i sent as IMPORT PARAMETER to the form is also created by own custom development. Via the default XML class of SAP
So that was my solution

How to print an adobe form with xml interface in r3

I have a Web dynpro application that creates an ADOBE form using an XML schema interface.
I need to be able to print the same form in R/3 - is this possible? If so how do I create the interface?

Merge LiveCycle Form with XML using JAVA

Hello.
I am trying to find out how to merge non-interactive form with XML (using JAVA) so the users can see the final output form with the data filled in.
What are my choices..?
So far, I have created the interactive forms as template using LiveCycle 8 and wrote ASP.NET code to extract data and store it in SQL database when the user fill out and submit the form.
It works great but another agency wants to access the form as well.
They told us that they will create the XML themselves from the database, so they just need to combine the form with XML to display it (non-interactive form).
They want to use JAVA but I am not sure how to do that...
Any suggestion?

Assuming that you start with XML in an org.w3c.dom.Document that stores the XML data. Before you can merge it into a form, you have to convert it to a com.adobe.idp.Document object. TO convert a org.w3c.dom.Document to a com.adobe.idp.Document object -- use the following Java code:

Save Adobe Form as XML

I am ABAPer and wanted to know if there is a way I can save the Online Adobe Form as XML using the SUBMIT button? Can I convert the Online Adobe Form as XML file using JAVA Script and then save it at at maybe a default location?

Let me take through step by step:-
1. I am working on SAP Version that does not support dynamic tables. Hence the when I convert the Adobe form into PDF content extracted in SAP Web dynpro, the PDF content does not have data entered in Dynamic Tables. To read dynamic tables the SAP system will have to undergo a ABAP kernel upgrade which is not possible at this time.
2. I had come up with a concept that using JAVA Script if I could convert the live Online Adobe Form into XML using the SUBMIT button on the form and then store it in one of the invisible fields on the form itself or maybe at remote location in desktop / application server.
3. This would be picked up once again by the ABAP Web dynpro and this file would contain the data entered by the User, I could then read the data in Web Dynpro for ABAP and process it further.
4. Well this is just an Idea and I am not sure if this can be implemented, please let me know if anything of this sort is possible, please excuse me if this sounds weird as my knowledge of JAVA is limited.

How to use Adobe forms with F150 Dunning Run

Hi,
I want to use Adobe forms with the transaction F150 Dunning Run.
How do I get the adobe form in customizing? I have put the FM 'FI_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE_PDF' in business transaction Event, BF31 - P/S modules of SAP app - 00001720, Fi-FI. But it is still not recognizing the ADOBE form.
Any help is greatly appreciated.

I am also working for calling custom adobe form instead of sapscript.
While configuring BTE 1720, i noticed that configuring BTE only FI-FI application does not solve the purpose. You need to assign function module FI_PRINT_DUNNING_NOTICE_PDF for all Application Area Indicator.
Adding to IS-PS will allow to print for customer.
This solved my problem. But this setting is global so you need to take care of it.

Rearrange pages when printing adobe form with multiple master pages

Hello!
Good day to you all.
I have an issue in regards with printing my adobe form with multiple Master pages. I have 4 master pages:
1st master page: a
2nd master page: b
3rd master page: c
4th master page: d
all with different headers and footers all having the same contents (items). I don't have issue with one page content (it just prints 4 pages with different headers and footers). The issue comes out once the items exceed 1 page.
What happens is that the preview/print shows (example: 3-page item)
a1-a2-a3-b1-b2-b3-c1-c2-c3-d1-d2-d3.
What i need is to print these such that all 1st pages of the 4 master page to be printed first, then all the 2nd pages, then all 3rd pages. Please see below:
a1-b1-c1-d1-a2-b2-c2-d2-a3-b3-c3-d3
This is because we will be using carbonless copy paper during printing and it's possible that it would be printed on batch jobs. Please suggest ways to do this.

Is that requirement of multiple pages as groups only at the time of print or at print preview also...?
Can you have a Print button on this screen or you should be using the Abobe toolbar's Print button..?
Well if this on a click of a button in the form and the requirement is only at the time of print and not on print prieview I can have a JS script which does this...
Let me know if this suffice, I can try with a local file and send you the script.

Offline Integration of Adobe Forms with CRM System using Web Service

Hi Experts,
I have a business requirement in which the end user us given an Application Form.
The user can save the form locally and fill the data.
Now the requirement is that when the end user clicks on Submit Button on the form, a web service is called and the entire data in the form is sent to CRM System.
I want to know is it possible to capture the entire data filled in the form in a web service???
Also the other major requirement is that i need to send the application form also to the CRM system.
I need to store the form as attachement for a Business Partner Record.
Is it possible to capture the data in the adobe form and still attach the form as attachement in an Offline Scenario????
Is it possible that a Web Service can be called on click of button in the form and still be able to attach the form itself as attachment???

Test inside the table is truncated when integrating Adobe forms with WD4A

Hi All,
I am facing issue in table when integrating adobe forms with web dynpro for ABAP.
Whenever the pagination happens the text in the table row cells is truncated and it starts from next row in next page. Is there any properrty of table in Form builder which I can use to allow the test to go to the next page?

Adobe Forms with APO DP Livecache

We have a requirement where in we need to develop Custom UI to show APO DP data in Real-Time. This means, the custom UI should read data directly from Livecache and we plan to use Adobe forms for this. My question is, can adobe forms read & write data from Livecache? If yes, how would this be achieved. If any one can help with a realevant pointer, it would be a great help.

There is no SAP provided standard functionality available to directly convert livecache data to adope form. You can transfer the results of DP realtime data into excel sheet and then convert to Adobe forms.
But you need to customise integration of Adobe form with livecache data as per your requirement.

Validating Input fields in Interactive Adobe Forms with Webdynpro ABAP

Dear Friends,
Am new to Interactive Adobe forms with Webdynpro Abap,
My scenario is, I have few Input fields, i need to handle the Messages when am not entering values in any of the Input Field,
and raise the message when i click on Save Button.
I have tried with setting the field as Required in Form itself, but i can't set the Field as Mandatory.
I don't know how to do, Please give some needed points, as well needed some Script/Formcalc code.

You can validate the fields by using javascript/formcalc logic in onclick event of button.

Integrating Dynamic Adobe Form with BSP: SAP Objectives setting &Appraisal

Hi all,
My users ask me whether wecan use Adobe Form to replace SAP standard BSP appraisal form (generated by HAP_DOCUMENT).
I konw that it's possible to integrate Adobe Interactive form with BSP.
But my Adobe form must contain dynamic table, with ability to insert/delete row on the form. This is just like what's there when you can adding objectives by client scripting in SAP OSA.
Please tell me if the integration of dynamic Adobe form with BSP is possible?
(We are on ECC 6, EPH2).

Do you plan to replace "only" the standard non-Adobe form or to develop a whole custom application?
