Adobe FrameMaker trials for Unix (Solaris)

Hi,
I just wanted to ask for pointers on where to download the FrameMaker trial version for Unix (Solaris). I was trying to find it on the Adobe downloads page but it only lists some updates for already available versions.
Are there any trials of Frame for Unix available for download?

The last Reader version issued for Unix is 9.5.5; you can download the appropriate files from ftp://ftp.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/unix/9.x/9.5.5/enu/

Kernel patch for Unix (Solaris)

Hello!
I have to patch, after successful installation, the SAP Solution Manager.
I know this operation is automatically can be executed with JSPM.
But in order to replace disp-work, R3Trans and TP I have to do this manually.
For this issue I have to stop all relevant processes, e.g. SAPOSCOL, DB-relevant-processes (Oracle)
In Windows area I would just stop all the processes.
<b>How this can be done in Unix area, should the processes be killed?</b>

You can patch java components and kernel using JSPAM. But ABAP part can only be done using SPAM. To start you have to stop SAP ( bot JAVA and ABAP ) ,
stop SAP will take care of this , it should stop database and SAPOSCOL by itself.If saposcol didnt stop , use command
saposcol -k to stop the saposcollector. If it didnt stop you can kill it ( last option ) by
kill -9 <process id >
stop sap will stop database and its related process.If tns listner is still running , stop it by using
lsnrctl stop

hello, I can't seem to find any downloadable trial adobe acrobat 3.x for unix/linux in the download page.
can anyone provide me the correct link to download it? many thanks!

There are a lot of differences going from PDF 1.2 to PDF 1.4. But
these are all extra things that MIGHT appear. Every PDF 1.2 file is a
valid PDF 1.4 file, and the idea of converting them really makes no
sense from a practical or administrative point of view. (Of course,
if you had PDF 1.4 files and th company standard was PDF 1.2 it would
be a different story).
Adobe have some Linux software. For example, FrameMaker and the
Distiller Server product.

Adobe does not sell older versions of their software. If you wish to purchase an older version you will have to find and take your chances with a third party vendor.

Unfortunately no, It says "Adobe not responding" as well when I try to open a pdf. It has done this a few times where I had to uninstall and reinstall. Also, Illustrator tells me to uninstall/reinstall as well.

Is localized version of Adobe Reader 9.4.6 for UNIX available ?
