Adobe hasn't allowed me to cancel my CC subscription in order to collect a 50% fee.

Yes, I know:
" if you have an annual membership then you will need to contact our support team directly at Contact Customer Care.  A one to one interaction is necessary to ensure that you are authorized to cancel your annual membership."
I've tried this on multiple occasions. Tried again today with the same results.
We click on Contact Customer Care
Now we click on "Contact us.":
A loop. It sends me to the forums repeatedly. No customer service available. You plane on charging me half of year subscription by not allowing me to cancel? I don't think so. Some of us don't have time to sit with this nonsense all day. This is shady.
Does a rep have a legitimate answer to do I get more hoops to jump through and a bill at the end of it all?

Anish, I don’t fault you for following your duties to Adobe. My issue is with the model itself, in practice. It seems better to keep a customer in the fold (finacially/loyalty) than to gouge them with a $600 bill for (in my opinion) a faulty model. I’m already receiving collection calls, mates. It’s pay $600 in full or $300 in full for a cancelled (useless) subscription. Not with the intention of being dramatic, but it feels like extortion and is causing me to feel very differently about a company whose products I’ve been using since 1988. Standard practices, to be sure.
Perhaps that’s the problem.
If you know of any other channels I can follow to resolve this reasonably, please let me know.

    We're building a site in Adobe Muse. Our product is a monthly subscription, with a one-time licensing fee. We will host on Adobe Business Catalyst. We need a check-out solution using either PayPal Web Standard -- OR -- the built-in Business Catalyst e-commerce module with PayPal as the payment processing gateway.
    The check-out module needs 3 options:
    1) Charge $695 one time and also set up a monthly payment of $39 starting 30 days after the one time charge
    2) Charge $695 one time and also set up a monthly payment of $59 starting 30 days after the one time charge
    3) A promo code field that allows the customer to start the subscription in 90 days instead of 30 (the promo code will change frequently; it needs to be easily editable by us)
    The customer will need to be able to cancel the subscription at any time (without contacting us)."

    Thank you for the quick reply.  However please note that we are not using anything related to CRM.  We are only using SAP E-Commerce for SAP ERP (SAP EHP1 FOR SAP NETWEAVER 7.0) with ECC 6.0 back end. 
    With that said, we are not looking to use E-Commerce for self registration, but relying on a CWA front end for registration/authentication.
    The main question is:  Can we allow creation of a B2B user with a portal user ID that is different than the back end ECC user ID in our scenario (no CRM)?

    I purchased this because I could scan a document and be able to fill out anything with my computer instead of writing everything in.  It would not allow me to do this, stating the program I purchased was not capable.  I would like a refund and cancel my annual subscription.

    I feel you are selling a product that does not work.  Seeing all the msgs stating this, I feel you should pull the product.  I got taken - you should refund - knowing you have a product that is defective.  I learned - word of mouth is the best advertising you will get and I will post on my Facebook - do not buy from Adobe!

    Welcome to the Club! Got the same Problem and had a really hard time reaching the Customer Support because they were down due to maitenance! Just wrote to their experts chat and hope to get an answer in this life!
    I tried to authorize my Computer and eBookreader with a new Adobe-ID, but it says I've done used this ID too often, even though it was brandnew! Can't copy my just-purchased eBook because "Copying is not allowed".
    I hold my thumbs for you that Adobe solves this Problem fast enough. Other ways I'll sell my eBookreader and buy the Kindle-Reader from Amazon and say GOOD BYE to Adobe!

    As George as suggested, the answer is sort of maybe, though you should not expect perfection. The OCR is not perfect (almost no OCR products are, unless you pay a lot of money possibly). You should always edit the original document and not try to do it from a scan if at all possible. The OCR is step to trying to recreate the original document, but there will always be manual steps involved.
