Adobe ID error - cannot publish Muse Site

Two days ago I changed my Adobe ID email/password which now seems to have thrown up an issue with Business Catalyst/Adobe Muse - wondered if anyone could help?
When I log into businesscatalyst.com, I am able to log in with my new Adobe ID email and password. But when I click on 'my details', it is showing my old email address in greyed-out text and won't allow me to change it.
In addition to this, in Adobe Muse, when I go to publish my site (which has already been published to my Business Catalyst account) it now asks me the following:
"Please enter your Adobe Business Catalyst password to upgrade your account to use Adobe ID. Once upgraded, future interactions with Adobe Business Catalyst will require your Adobe ID credentials."
My updated email address is already there, and is un-editable. However when entering my password it tells me password is incorrect.
At the moment I am not able to publish any websites created through Adobe Muse.
I am also unable to delete the current version of the site published to my Business Catalyst, as when I click 'delete site' it asks for my account credentials, providing my OLD email address and asking for a password. Neither my old or my new password works with this.
In Muse's preferences, Publish with Account is set to "*my updated email* - Adobe ID"
I've tried Help / Deactivate Adobe Muse / Remove my user account from this machine and signing back into Muse using my updated email and password. My old email and password does not work.
Any help would be much appreciated!

Window error when publishing Muse change, can't pubish page update. Any suggestions?

  • How to publish Muse site

how to replace an existing .com with a ready to publish Muse site?

I am going to make a whole bunch of assumptions. You have a web hosting service with an existing web site and you want to put the site you made with Muse in place of the current one.
Simple: Use the FTP feature in Muse. Muse will ask you to "replace" current file. It will replace the index.html default.html, it's that easy.
IF you have the web hosting user name and password.
AdobeTV and utube have a number of videos that will take you through the process step by step.
    Hope this helps

  • Publish Muse site via Muse with GoDaddy Domain

    Hello,
I've had this problem for months now. I don't even really know where to begin. I have a site in Adobe Muse that I had been publishing for quite some time through Muse. At first using the business catalyst URL but then using hosting from GoDaddy. I went into GoDaddy settings, changed the nameservers to the Adobe Settings -
    NS1.WORLDSECURESYSTEMS.COM
    NS2.WORLDSECURESYSTEMS.COM
    NS3.WORLDSECURESYSTEMS.COM
That is all I remember having to change. With-in 24 hours I was able to publish the site via Muse, using the GoDaddy domain and it had been working for quite a while. I've done the same method for another site and that site has had no issues. The site I'm trying to publish is www.southaddisonpix.com. It has domain and hosting from GoDaddy. When trying to visit the site I get this message in the browser:
    No Start Page
Could not display this Web Site as no Start Page has been configured. To configure a default starting page, set one of your Web Pages to be the Start Page. Please contact your Administrator for more information.
In Muse, I don't see where to set the home page to the "Start Page". I also cannot access the site using a httpwwwsouthaddisonpix.businesscatalyst.com URL. My other site that works is www.andybatson.com. This site uses the same method for publishing as I'm using for the problem site I'm searching for help with.
Is this a Muse/Adobe/Businesscatalyst problem or a GoDaddy problem?
I'm at a complete loss as what to do.
Thanks for any help in advance.

  • Cannot publish Muse in BC

First I want to say, this adobe system is so great!
    Nevertheless, greatness brings problems...
I have a webcommerce monthly and a muse monthly.
I have the oxo theme preinstalled and (would like to keep it as a template; already duplicated it)  and want to upload my Muse theme. When I go to publish in the Muse menue, the following happens: the domain <blank> I chose is doubled like domainbusinesscatalysrcom.businesscatalyst.com and the system says:"The validity of the site domain.businesscatalyst.com could not be verified. The site may not exist, or you may not be an authorized user of this site. Choose another site and try again."
Choosing another site is not possible, because I need the features of the webcommerce.
Little Help! from the forum to work it out is required.

    Hello,
solution of the problem was provided from Adobe Sales Support: The Muse site that shall be uploaded to BC must be the same account like the BC account. I signed Muse before the trial ended, but I did not deactivate the  trial site. I deactivated the Muse trial and could upload the .muse to BC smoothly.

  • Publish Muse Sites?

I'm trying to publish my Muse site using an existing web site address. Muse wants to still put the business catalyst extention on the end. Anyone know of a solution?

You can find the site launch workflow here - http://www.adobekb.com/launching_pt01.html.
You can add your own domain to paid or redeemed BC sites in order to take it live. Here's how you do it - http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-1741.

  • Can I replace a published muse site with one I have been working on?

I have published a muse site as a holding page on a webasics plan, and while that has been live I have started a new muse file an built a website which I intended
to replace the holding page with.
I am having trouble figuring out how to replace a already published site with a new muse file?
    Hope that makes sense!
    Thanks heaps

    Hello,
You simply need to select the same site from the list of sites in the dropdown, while publishing it from Muse. This will replace the existing site with the one you have built in Muse now.
    Hope this helps.

  • Error when publish my site on .mac

    hello from Paris,
with iweb 08, when I publish my site I have the error : "an error occurred at the time of the publication of the file : /web/.tempory web resources/3A70C2FF-C939-4AF3-BC7D-BDOCA9AA0C5F"
    can you help me?.
    Thank you
Frédéric BETHE - Paris - France

    Bonjour Paris,

  • Cannot publishing my site

I created for the first time my site. trying to publish it, clicking on "publish", I get the massage: "Couldn’t reach the MobileMe configuration server. Try publishing again later". publishing my site to a folder on my mac was successful. apple online help service couldn't help me. I also disabled my account and logged in again, it doesn't help. Can someone tell me what to do?

It is so frustrating that I can't get any help from apple company.
You could try via email at this page:

Or, if you prefer by phone, here:

I can't find the folder where the created web pages are stored, to put my site files from the backup disk, after I loosed them, trying to reinstall iweb software.
Your published site files are here:
    http://www.me.com/idisk
...Log in and click on the Web folder and then on the Sites folder. But be aware that the published folders cannot be imported back into iWeb — the only file iWeb can open is its Domain file. See this Apple doc: _iWeb ’08: Backing up your Domain file_.

  • Cannot Publish new site from Muse.  Error Messages/Adobe ID.

I'm trying to publish a new site from Muse.  I done this before over the last year with no problems.  Today when I choose "Publish," a login box appears with the message, "Please enter your Adobe Business Catalyst password to upgrade your account to use Adobe ID. Once upgraded, future interactions with Adobe Business Catalyst will require your Adobe ID credentials."  When I do so, I receive an error message that states in its entirety "Unknown Error."  I've confirmed that my account is in good standing (Creative Cloud subscriber).  Any ideas about what's going on?

  • After the Muse update 2014.3 I cannot publish my site

It keeps knocking me off Adobe Muse Quit unexpectedly

I have been having the same type of problem. I could publish to a folder with no errors but when when publishing to xxx..businesscatalyst.com . Gets to about 53% and then a Alert box pops up with
Adobe Muse CC has encountered an error and will now exit.
Please report the last few actions you took leading up to this error to the Adobe Muse CC team.
Don't know how to generate rendered data for type:type_guid
After Hitting OK button Muse Shuts Down.
I did figure out what was throwing the error: I was using a Item from a Library that had a Content Item in it. If I deleted that Content Item or used Untag Selection the site would publish without any errors.
Here is what I have tested: In my Content window I have 3 folders - 1) Collection   2)Sunspace  3)TestNew.... Folder 2 were created using Muse 2014.2 - Folder 3 created in version 2014.3
If I place any Content Items that are from with-in Folder 2 Muse Crashes when publishing to businesscatalyst. If I add any new content item to Folder 2 and place it on the page Muse Crashes.
If I place any Content Items that are from with-in any other folder than Folder 2 Muse publishes without any error. I don't know what the issue is with that one folder?

  • I cannot Publish my site after using the Publish Public Site Manager. An error, with no explanation is returned.

The problem we’re having has to do with transitioning our existing Easter I Tunes U site over to an iTunes U Public site as the instructions below tell us to do.
    -          I can access the itunes U Public Site Manager fine with my ID.
    -          I was able to make some changes to our existing site to get it ready for publishing it to the iTunes U public site format.
    -          I can preview our existing site as a new Public Site fine from within the Public Site Manager application.
    -          However, when I try to Publish it I get an error that says :   An error has occurred during the publishing of your content. Try again
Looking for some support to tell me what we’re not doing correctly to migrate our existing site over.

    Here are the answers
Eastern CT State University is no longer in the iTunes U directory .    r
The have not migrated their site to iTunes U Public Site Manager. Starting June 2010 we notified all iTunes U site administrators for any site in the iTunes store that they would need to migrate their existing site to iTunes U Public Site Manager in the future. In Feb. 2011 we notified them that the deadline for migration would be April 2011 and that if they had not migrated their site would no longer appear on the list.
For Eastern CT State University to return to the list, they just need to transition over to an iTunes U Public Site Manager based site. Information on how to do so can be found here -http://deimos.apple.com/rsrc/doc/UsingiTunesUPublicSiteManager/CommonQuestions/c hapter_14_section_2.html#//apple_ref/doc/uid/iTUPSM-CH5-SW2

    Nick Good ?uestion!
I am the New Admin for The University of New Orleans, and after reading the response to your initial question I think we fall into the category of needing to migrate to Public site manager. But looking at the tutorial which is mainly text, I cannot follow the instructions. Do you have a screen shot of what step two because I cannot find the " iTunes U Public Site Manager in the Tools area."
    Thank you!
