Adobe Illustrator 17.1.0 crashes after recent update

Hi,
Adobe Illustrator 17.1.0 crashes after recent update. I can work some time (maybe half an hour or 10 minutes, or 1 hour) and then it crashes again.

Machine specs: HP Z820 - zeon e5-2690 48gb ram quadro k5000. Since the recent updates & complete wipe of the system & fresh install, Premiere pro CC crashes regularly without any pattern. Try finding MSVCR110.dll file on internet and replace it in the path C:\Windows\system32\MSVCR110.dll

Flash Player crashes after recent update to Firefox 32

After recent update to Firefox 32, Flash player crashes frequently whenever i open any flash video.
I have latest Flash player installed (14).
I tried to uninstall Flash player and installed it again, also tried to instal flash player 15 beta and also tried to instal older flash player 13 but all in vain and problem is same.
Update:
i have noticed that this problem occurs in Firefox only while lash Player works fine in Google Chrome..
Please help me to fix this problem.

System crash after recent update

Hi all,
As of yesterday, my laptop has started crashing after a little while open (sometimes right away, sometimes ten minutes in, sometimes right after bios). I believed it was to do with the recent alsa-utils update and I downgraded that package which helped for a little bit. When it updated again and the core dump from the previous update disappeared, I upgraded and the problem starting happening again. Then I downgraded and no change.
So I think it is not to do with alsa anymore...but I can find no information at all in dmesg or journalctl. There seem to be no errors, warnings whatsoever. I have tried chrooting in and looking at all the logs but to no avail.
The update that broke my system installed the following:
alsa-lib alsa-utils gcc-libs gcc isl kmod libcdio-paranoia pyalpm namcap
I have since downgraded both isl and kmod and it looks my laptop is running okay so far. After this update I also updated the kernel, but running from the fallback initramfs did not change the issue so I don't think it was that either.
I have trawled the forums for recent problems with recent updates .ut did not find anything apart from the alsactl core dump.
Does anyone know if there are any problems with the above packages? Or if there are other important logs other than journactl, dmesg, and pacman.log I can try looking at to troubleshoot this? I apologise for not being able to provide much more information, as I said I can't seem to find anything out of the ordinary in the aforementioned logs.
Any help would be appreciated.

Safari 4.1.1 constantly crashing after recent update. Help please!

After a recent update (Version 4.1.1 (4533.17.8)) Safari is constantly crashing. This never happened before as it has always worked flawlessly. I tend to think that this definitely has something to do with the recent update. Safari will run fine and crash and force quit out of the blue. I'm not visiting a certain site as the crash does not seem specific. Can someone help me diagnose what the problem may be or how this can be fixed? I've included the log below. although the exact location is indicated in your crash report as quoted above - look under 'Binary Images'.
Close Safari and delete them, then restart Safari and it should be working normally. Alternatively drag them to the desktop and restart Safari. then add them back one at a time, restarting Safari every time, until you find the one (or more) causing the crash.
Check with the developers of the plug-ins in question for updates that are Safari 5 compliant.

Safari 3.2.1 keeps crashing after recent update

After recent automatic update to Safari to version 3.2.1 it now keeps crashing. This usually happens within 1-2 minutes of starting it up. What gives? I have tried deleting the file com.apple.safari.plist as that seems to have helped a few others with their new safari version crashing. This did not help other than possibly making it stable for just a few more minutes before the crash occurs again. Any suggestions? Thank you in advance for any help someone may be able to provide.

Hold down the shift key when you start-up Safari. Then, go to the Safari Menu>Preferences>Security panel. Uncheck the "warn when visiting a fraudulent web site". See if that makes Safari stable. If it crashes, select "report" on the Quit panel, then copy/paste the entire crash report to your reply here.

ITunes 11.2 crashes after recent update

I have iTunes 11 for Windows 7, after the most recent update I beleive, iTunes will now crash everytime I luanch it. When I fire up iTunes, it'll load my library then 15 seconds later iTunes will stop working and close out. I get no error message. Need help to fix this issue.

Scott, that's a fair question! I incrementally made those adjustments over about 8 or 10 attempts as iTunes would crash not long after starting up.
When I would turn on iTunes, I could see on the "home page screen" that is was updating Genius and somehow I also noticed it was syncing or downloading Podcasts. I had already deleted the Sync Services Folder and emptied the trash, yet it kept crashing. I also would try and "x" out the Genius progress bar to stop it, but not long after it would crash. So on another attempt, I started trying to "turn off" Genius via to the Store pull down menu . It would appear to turn off, but by then iTunes would crash. And when I restarted iTunes I would see Genius try to update or sync all over again, whatever it does, and I would check the Store pull down menu and Genius was still on.
The next thing I tried was after turning Genius off, I shut down iTunes, hoping to "Save" the setting as off. I think that was how I succeeded in shutting off Genius.
In a mix of adjustments I also turned off what I could with the Podcasts.
It's been six hours now with no crashes, and I played a big high def movie file via ethernet out of my Mac Pro to Apple TV, so my iTunes 11.2.1 is basically in good shape.

Finder crashes after recent updates

After authorizing one recent automatic security and one quicktime update, the system boots, desktop and dock work fine but finder crashes and won't allow a relaunch. I get the rainbow spinner and the clock in the upper right for a few seconds and then it just disappears leaving me with the dock and nothing happening. Also, even though the dock is functional, no programs will run. They start and then quickly crash after about 10 seconds.
So far I've been advised to try restarting with the shift key held to prevent startups and/or the network connection unplugged. I've restarted it several times, using combinations of these as well as startup cd booted and ran the disk utility just in case. Nada. The only change after trying these is now I get the rainbow spinner for 3 seconds, in intervals of every 5 seconds, almost like it's trying to restart finder, though I'm not sure what exactly it's doing.
This is PPC dual 400 something g4 running 10.3.9

Had a similar problem. Did the SU 2007-07 update yesterday with no problem. Today did the QuickTime 7.2 and the iTunes update. Pressed for time - continued working on other things. After the updates were complete, I restarted. Got the dock and the Microtek Sanner Finder loaded. Next my screen turned several shades darker, black box appeared in the center with white letters saying something like "You need to restart your computer" in 3 languages. I tried several ways to restart and kept getting the same thing. My keyboard and mouse didn't work. I was able to force quit the Microtek Scanner Finder - but still got the message.
Reading this post (on Windoze pc-ugh) I restarted with the shift key depressed and got the log in screen and was able to access everything. I repaired disk permissions. iTunes worked, so concluded the QT 7.2 security fix is the problem. Decided against trying QT based on a post here. Trashed QT application and was able to restart once with no problem.
I'm thinking I should download the entire QT 7.2 and reinstall it. I'm just not sure if I need to delete all the QT system library files as several have todays date. However I have been able to restart with them there, just the application itself is trashed.
I don't think I'll be upgrading QT again as I rarely use it!
Any ideas?

App Store on itouch keeps crashing after recent update

After updating to the new iOS 6.0 for my itouch 4th gen., the new App Store keeps crashing on me when trying to find an app or redownload purchased apps.what can I do to fix this?

Iphone4 CRASHED after recent update without backup...

I have had my iphone4 for just over a year, never had a problem with it at all, I love it! I recently did the Apple update, and my phone COMPLETELY crashed. Apple says it is now a useless shiny paperweight...i have lost everything, it does nothing. HELP!! I went to the att store and they were out of the iphone5, so i bought the galaxy...HATE IT!! I just want my iphone back...or at least some redemption from Apple. It was a Apple update that crashed my phone...and now I have nothing but a phone I HATE!!

[Solved] XBMC crashing after recent updates {Trakt Plugin Problem}

It opens up fine, but then crashes. I haven't changed anything, or added any new files to my library!

Okay, found help on the XBMC forums. Had to remove Trakt from autoexec.py from the userdata folder

My Itunes keeps crashing after recent update!

Hi!!
My itunes crashes the minute I start it up, it started with the second last update and when I got prompted to update this morning I hoped it would fix it, but it didn't.
The only time it works is when I am not connected to the internet but once I turn it the Wifi on it crashes again.
Any advice on how to fix this? I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program and also restarted my PC, any other recommendations??

Itunes crashing after recent update

I installed iTunes 10.6 a few days ago. Ever since then, iTunes will run until I try to sync any of my devices. I have tried sync'ing iPad, different generations/typs of iPod and iPhone. They all cause the app to quit "unexpectedly". I can play music from iTunes on my computer - it just fails when connecting to a device via the USB port or wi-fi. I reinstalled iTunes today. Same behavior. What else can I do?

IPhone crashing after recent update

I plugged my iPhone into my mac last night and it suggested I update the software. Whilst my phone was rebooting, iPhone displayed a message saying that the phone could not be rebooted and continued to show the sign telling me to plug my phone into itunes all night. It occassionally turned itself off and then back on and the sign changed to 'no sim card inserted.' telling me to disconnect and then put my sim in, even though it was already in. Eventually it found my sim card and displayed the message 'iPhone could not restore. try again later or contact customer care'. So I've spent the whole morning trying to find answers and then I found an article which I followed and now I have the message 'restore needed on my phone' and Itunes is back to saying there is no sim card. Anybody have any suggestions?

I may or may not have noticed the same problem with my 4S. For me, the problem may simply be that I have a new Pioneer stereo and am somewhat unfamiliar with the bluetooth functions yet. I did get a call Friday night while cinnected to bluetooth and since I don't know how to answer yet on the stereo, I answered on the phone and selected the bluetooth on the stereo as the output. Didn't work and I had to use the phone to talk on.
I have a 3GS that hasn't been updated to the latest OS and I'll mess around with both phones today to see if I can figure things out.

What I suggest you do here is to use Adobe's uninstaller tool to uninstall Flash first of all: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
Then reboot, go to http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ and reinstall it.
I notice too that you have an outdated version of Shockwave For Director. You can update that via http://get.adobe.com/shockwave/
