Adobe Illustrator CC won't start!

Adobe Illustrator CC won't start. It immediately crashes. Already uninstalled Wacom software, but that's not the problem, still doesn't start. I'm using the trial version of CC to see if everything works before i buy the software. I also have CS6 Design & Web premium installed, never had problems with this software. Someone knows how to fix?

You may be able to get round the legacy JAVA requirement as follows:
Create empty folders at “/System/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/1.6.0.jdk” and “/System/Library/Java/Support/Deploy.bundle”, to make Illustrator use Jave SE 8 as it should.

Some have found that the page may turn up blank to start with, so it may be necessary to reload the page.

Illustrator CS4 won't start, even after reïnstalling.

I reïnstalled the whole Suite but Illustrator still won't start. When I try to open Illustrator the orange windows pops up and you see that parts are being loaded but then it shuts down and is gone. I'm on Windows8.

We can't know. You have not provided any system info. From incompatibility with operating system updates to otehr tools blocking components to system restore damaging the installation anything is possible.

This is a MBP Yosemite. I've been using Illustrator CC for a while now, no problems.
When I click ok it quits and then a "crash log" appears. It's long, I guess it contains the explanation but I can't figure it out, I uploaded it: Process: Adobe Illustrator [540] Path: /Applicat - Pastebin.com
I've tried the font cache cleaning thing with that "nuke" free tool and then rebooted, but nothing.

Like I said (and you can see the screenshot, really) the program won't event start. So there's no operation I'm trying to do since illustrator crashes right when is loading itself. Not trying to print anything at all. Not even opening through an *.ai file, just trying to fire up the app itself.
I just tried opening an *.ai file, same outcome.
I have about 20GB of free space right now (i've used AI with far less free space, that's why the error makes no sense to me).
I did not reinstall the app after the update, but I did use it without a problem on Yosemite already.

Hello there. I recently purchased Creative Cloud (roughly 2 weeks ago) and downloaded Adobe Illustrator CC. For the past 2 weeks that I've had Adobe Illustrator, it's worked perfectly fine. But now, for no reason that I can find, it won't open. Everything else Adobe works just fine, but Illustrator won't (for whatever reason). After continuously trying, and it not working, I decided to uninstall it and reinstall it - still doesn't work. I opened up the Task Manager, and saw that it would open up in the background processes, but no matter what I do, it won't actually OPEN. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, how do I fix it?

Adobe illustrator CS6 won't open on MacBook Pro with OS 10.6.8

I just installed CS6 Design and Web Premium on my MacBook Pro running OS10.6.8. InDesign opened fine, but in the dock Illustrator and Photoshop have diagonal lines through them. I tried opening Illustrator and got this message: "You can't open the application Adobe Illustrator CS6 because it is not supported on this type of Mac." My MacBook Pro is 3-4 years old--a 2 GHz Intel Core Duo, 2GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM, Model Identifier: MacBook Pro1,1. I double checked the OS required by CS6 and it's 10.6.8.

System requirements... Multicore Intel processor with 64-bit support
Core Duo processors do not support 64Bit. Essentially, if you can run OS 10.7, then CS6 apps are fine. Your machine won't run 10.7 (due to lack of 64bit support). You need a Core 2 Duo or better. If you do indeed have an Intel Core Duo MacBook Pro, it's much older than 3 or 4 years. The Core Duo MacBookPros were 2006 machines.

Illustrator CS4 won't start in Win 7

The scenario:
- Brand new Win 7 machine; brand new CS4 Web Premium purchase
- All windows updates and Adobe updates performed
- All Adobe products start up fine, Illustrator doesn't; it just hangs; I don't even get the splash screens at all to tell me that it is even attempting to load something. The computer freezes; ctrl+alt+del will freeze as well. The only way to get out of it is to power off the computer with the power button
** This only happens with Illustrator, all other products/apps work fine***
Any ideas? Similar situations? Recommendations?

Not a bothersome question but I think it is a problem that has been posted elsewhere on the web.

I try to download Adobe Illustrator and it won't download at all. All other Adobe programs are fully downloaded and functioning.

Are you trying to downloads from Creative Cloud Desktop application?
What is the Operating system you are using?

Adobe Illustrator CC crashes after starting.

I installed all of the adobe CC apps and all of them work fine except Illustrator. Every time I open it I get that Adobe Illustrator has stopped working. If I click on more info I get this:

I am running Windows 7 Professional SP1 with a 2.7GHZ six core processor, 16 gigs ram, and a Geforce 560 graphics card.

UPDATE: I have upgraded to Windows 8.1 and still having issues. Indesign stopped working as well, but was able to fix that with removing the read only property. No luck with Illustrator. I tried completely removing and reinstall and still not working. Also tried the disable graphic card trick, but no luck either.

Adobe Illustrator CC, 64 or 32 bit applications open, then show an errore stating "Illustrator has stopped working". Windows then tries to find a solution but cannot and the program closes.

Before tryig reinstalling, refer to below. This worked for me.

I may have been able to resolve my issue. I held shift while opening Illustrator and opened it in a bare bones mode, then closed it and reopened it without getting the error message. Good luck to you.

after installing OS X Yosemite software upgrade my Adobe Illustrator CS3 will not open with the ability to use the tools, only as a Read only file. I was told to install JavaForOSX2014-001 but that has not helped.

Yes I am having the same exact issue. CS6 works fine except for InDesign. I have used the Java Legacy Updater with no help to the scenario. Just bounces up/down and then gives me this nice little error message, which I get repeatedly:

Adobe Media Encoder won't start

Not OP, but I have the same problem. AME just won't run. Double click, it's loading, I can see the process in Windows Task Manager but it just goes away again. Tried deleting that watch folder .xml but not working. Here's my spec from the FAQ:
