Adobe Installation Failure

Hello,
Over the past few weeks I've encountered problems with the Adobe Reader installer. I've experienced this issue on several machines that are completely fresh installs of Windows.
During the installation process I've encountered an error in the Adobe Reader installer that reads "Invalid Command Line Argument". I've searched all over the place and cannot find any solutions to this error. I also want to make absolutely clear that I am not trying to install Adobe Reader via command line. I don't even know how. I'm just running the install link on the main Adobe downloads page.
All systems are running Win 7 Pro x64 OEM with 4+ GB RAM and Core I3's. I have not yet installed AntiVirus on the machines and Java has been installed prior to Adobe install. I have had no other issues installing other software before or after I first encountered the errors with Adobe Reader.

The installer from Inayal's link is an offline installer; the entire software is downloaded before the installation begins.
The standard installer is a "download helper"; it will download the software during the installation process. There are a number of things that can go wrong with that, so it's far safer to use the offline installer.

I then discovered that every time I wanted to change the colour of text I had to go through that CSS thing.
DW is trying to teach you to use CSS for styling *all* elements on a page, and that includes font size and colours etc.,

Worse, I then discovered DWCS4 does not seem to readily support tables and any editing of my tables from both my Claris Home Page site and my Front Page site resulted in a big piggy mess.
DW does support tables - so not sure what you mean here. It certainly is not a good option to try and edit the pages in another editor, you end up with all sorts of coding errors and bloated code.
Next I noticed CS4 did not FTP any updates to my sites, other than initially, and no amount of persuasion seemed to fix it.
Did you try and connect via another FTP program to see if it was a DW problem or just a connection problem. Something file Filezilla or CuteFTP for testing.
The other thing to keep in mind is whether the server space on the host has been all used up - sometimes this can happen without the user knowing about it... so everytime you try and upload files, it appears to work but the files are not updated. The other thing could be that the ISP is caching the pages and it takes a while for them to update globally.
A few people have solved any DW weirdness by re-creating their personal configuration folder:
Close Dreamweaver, locate the personal configuration folder, and rename it.
When you restart Dreamweaver, it should create a new configuration folder with all the program defaults.

Anyway, the support person directed me to CS4 Cleanscript which will not download at all! The CS3 version downloads OK as does the Mac version, and I have tried downloading from Firefox and Chrome, as well as IE8, with Firewalls,
Again, could be an ISP thing, I'm in Australia and managed to download the script a little while ago using Firefox. If you Private Message me with an email address, I can send you a link to download it, or send the zip to you via email - though it is quite a large file size.

Adobe Camera Raw 6.7 Installation Failure

From Adobe Bridge CS5, I enter Help, then Updates.
Adobe Application Manager informs me that I can update Adobe Camera Raw to 6.7.
I click to install, the software is downloaded tha I get an Installation Failure message.
When I click on 'Customer Support' on the screen, I am directed to 'http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-serial-number-qualifying-product.html'.
At no point during the installation was I asked for the serial number.

Adobe Player for Embedding installation failure

Multiple tries but only failure - have tried both the automatic update and also the standalone installer. Zero sucess. Since I have CS5 Master Collection hate to wate the better part of the day doing a clean re-install. Here is my most recent update log file.

As an update to my previous post about the installation failure. I chatted with Adobe Customer Service but they were unable to help and told me to call tech support - last time I did that I was unable to resolve the problem after spending about 2 hours on the phone and they are only open during the week.
I solved the problem by:
1) Deactiviating CS5 Master Collection on my computer
2) Uninstalling the software from the control panel (I did not remove the serial number as I was planning on re-installing.
3) Downloading and running the Adobe CS5 Cleanup tool.
4) Reinstalling CS5 MC.
5) Downloading and installing all of the updates to bring the install up to date.
I am glad it is working as it should but really had better things to do with the 4-5 hours this took to do. Would be nice to have a tool to fix these types of problem without having to go thru the above especially considering the price the software costs...

Installation Error DW050: Adobe Illustrator CS5.1: failed due to language pack installation failure

I recently got a macbook Air and needed to reinstall my adobe creative suite to said new computer. I purchased creative suite online so I downloaded it from there and followed the installation instructions to a T.
I originally purchased Adobe Creative Suite in 2011 so it is version CS5.1
Everything installed successfully except Adobe Illustrator, which at the end left me this error message

CS6 Installation Failure - Adobe Genuine Software Verification Error

I am trying to install CS6 as a trial version on my Windows8 laptop but keep being told that my software is counterfeit (" Installation Failure - Adobe Genuine Software Verification Error").
I have uninstalled and re-downloaded it with no success, and the only forum post i can see on this suggests checking the date/time on the PC are correct (which they are).
Any further ideas?

Thanks very much for replying Mylenium - i found this before but it only contains a link to photoshopCC rather than CS6 unless I have missed it??. I have bought a licence for the student/teacher edition of CS6 (which I am still waiting for) so presume that downloading photoshop CC wont work.
I have also tried the 'troubleshoot' link provided but couldnt find anything specific to this error.
Has anyone successfully resolved this problem for CS6?

Installation failures with Adobe Download Manager

I subscribed to the Adobe Creative Cloud a few days ago and am having no success downloading software using the download manager. When I try the download will begin but it will suddenly stop and report "installation failure" after only 7% to 10% of the dl. I've checked my internet connection, hardware, etc. and cannot locate a problem, and it doesn't seem to matter what time of day or night I attempt the download. I'll have to cancel my subscription if I can't get this resolved in the next couple of days. Please help.

Acrobat X pro installation failure

I always have had problem with Acrobat installation.
Last time it make me completely reinstalled Windows before I can successfully installed Acrobat. However, recently my Win 8.1 pro has had problem so I decided to reinstall Windows from scratch. Again, I encountered Acrobat installation failure.

Infact, the Creative Suite is the very few first applications I installed after Windows set up.
Any clues on why this happens. I'm tired of reinstalling Windows again and again. But Acrobat is important for me.

I was able to install on an earlier version Mini with OS 10.7.3 and an Intel Core 2 duo.

Photoshop CS6 installation failure Mac

I keep getting the installation failure error on my newly-purchased CS6 installation that I downloaded off the internet. It is fatal error "Exit Code: 34". I uninstalled all the previous versions of Photoshop that I had, including trial versions, and close all the programs when installing this, but the problem persists. Troubleshoot with install logs
If it hangs on the fonts, you wil lhave to manually remove the Adobe fonts from previous versions.

I get the following Photoshop CS6 installation failure dialog box
Installation Failed
Your installation encountered errors.
A conflicting or prerelease version of Adobe Photoshop CS6 exists on this computer. The conflicting version must be removed before installing from the current media.
If the problem persists, please contact Customer Support for further assistance.
I've searched and found no reference to this in you FAQ
Are there specific files I should remover? What should I do?

first uninstall ps cs6, if it is installed.
then, run the cleaner: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
then reinstall.

Look for this file or folder on your machine:
"<Macintosh HD>/Library/Fonts/MyriadWebPro-Italic.ttf"
Is there a folder named MyriadWebPro-Italic inside the Fonts folder? Is the file MyriadWebPro-Italic.ttf already existing within this folder?
In both the cases, delete this file/folder and try to install PSE again.

CS6 installation failure for some applications

Windows 7.
After the installation process was complete I was notified that some of the applications failed to install:
Ps; Ai; Fl; Id.
An error list was provided with many cryptic reasons for failure, such as:
ERROR: DF037: Unable to delete directory "C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw". Error 145 The directory is not empty.(Seq 956)
These are interesting, no doubt, but useless for helping me to solve the problems.
My question is: how can I get Adobe to help me with what seems to be an inadequate installation process?

AE 7 Pro Installation Failure

In attempting to port AE 7 Pro to new (replacement) system, the installation fails with a Microsoft C++ runtime error, right after selecting English as the language.
Computer is new Dell Precision, running WinXP SP2.
Any thoughts, suggestions?

When I installed AE 7 on my old machine some three years ago, I recall needing .NET Framework 2, so I made sure to put it on this machine. No change in the installation failure.
Other applications in the Adobe family and others came back just fine: Photoshop and Illustrator CS, Audition 3, etc. So I'm guessing it's likely not an inability to read and write in the drive system. Display adapter is NVIDIA Quadro FX 570 -- seemingly working correctly, as far as basic business and still apps go.
But now that you mention it, this new machine has a Quad Core CPU. Maybe AE 7 doesn't understand that?
Time to push the budget a bit, a move up the scheduled upgrade to CS3, perhaps?
