Adobe is exporting frozen clips

I posted about this the other day and thought I'd figured it out.
Every time I try to export this Offset animation to QT in full quality, parts of the video are still. It's not a matter of the file being too big, it's not even animating during the render, however, when I export a smaller file version or to MP4, the video animates....
This is driving me CRAZY!!!
Any tips?

If it depends on the resolution, you have a serious hardware problem - the graphics card is unable to serve the refresh requests, both in AE and QT. I truly think the clips are intact otherwise. Whgere that issue is coming from, is another matter, but fiddling with driver settings and making sure to install the latest drivers is always a place to start. For QT, you may also look into disabling the hardware accelerated playback and force it to run in GDI only mode. in any case, there is a problem somewhere there...

  • Export a clip in exactly the same quality as the original

I have just tried importing a DSLR H264 file in premiere and export it back
    1. At the question if i would like to create the new sequence i choose using the clip's settings
This generated a correct sequence (regarding the frame size the pixel aspect ratio and the field order) but it set the preview settings in i mpeg / 50% quality, while the clip uses the quicktime H264 codec (let us say that this will be used in the editing procedure and can be altered at the export)
    2. I immediately exported the clip from the sequence using the match sequence setting option (which uses the I mpeg codec)
    3. I Linked then to AMA in the Avid facility we have, (both the original and the -so called same as sequence = same as clip export - (I used link to AMA so that i could prevent Avid from trnascoding any of the clips.
    4. the results (using Avid's Color Scopes) are that there is a colour shift to the exported video from Premiere vs the original.
    5. I retried using H264 as the export codec and disabling the Limit data rate and enabling any time cost setting
    6. I tried many other possible solutions regarding the export codecs or the sequence settings and still having a different kind of shifting all the time
What is the official Adobe solution to import and export in a lossless way any material, or importing something in Premiere means you start shifting from original?

First of all thanks for the reply. Both codecs you mention are pc only codecs and i am working on a mac
I am working on an avid environment, having proposed the install of 3 premiere suites
My point is that i want to edit no matter the codec (impeg or whatever) but be able to export the edit using the native video codec and at the native quality like avid's AMA link way
So when i use H264 i want to export H264
Nevertheless i have done some experiments here and came at the following conclusions
    1) exporting using animation codec gives back 100% quality in the best speed
while this is back imported to Premiere and matched down with the original using Premiere scopes and the sequence's preview files being set to H264 gives back 100% the original, when i match it on avid (1 track the original AMA linked 2nd track the exported from Premiere (also AMA linked) ) the Avid's scopes are showing a minor shift in chroma and luma (which visually is non identified)
My question though is more generic and has to do with the whole philosophy of Premiere's materials handling.
I import a video - it is by default using the 50% quality impel in order to edit quickly and when it comes to export what do i do?
I use a different export codec than the one i used to edit?
What about the effects rendered on the timeline (having used the imeg codec)?
I try to switch the sequence's settings to a quicktime animation codec when i finish an edit (it losses the preview files generated by the impel codec) and then export using again the animation codec, but that;s me
I try to find if there is an official  Adobe Lossless method of doing this...

  • Export to Clip Notes

    Hi
When I try to export to clip notes After Effects freezes and trying to select anything gives me the 'ping' noise.  The only way out of this is then to close the program down from the windows task list.
    Anything?????
    thanks

I never used Clip Notes myself, but I did a quick search, and came up with the following:
    http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/search/index.cfm?term=clip+notes&siteSection=home&loc=en_us
There are no Clip Notes references in this list beyond AE9 (aka CS4).  I suspect that the application was not retained in later versions.  If you have any intentions of upgrading software beyond AE 9, I don't think I'd get in the habit of relying on Clip Notes.
If I'm wrong about this, an Adobe employee will most certainly set me straight.

  • Exporting multiple clips to Media Encoder

    Hi there,
I need to export multiple clips from Premiere Pro CS4 to Media Encoder (so I can work with the footage at a lower resolution then replace with the original clips).
Currently I am exporting each clip individually, which is very time consuming as I have hundreds of clips.
Is there a way to export all the clips simultaneously?
    Thanks!

    As individual clips?  No.
You might try using a Watch Folder in Adobe Media Encoder.  The Help file should have the details.
However, the best solution is to upgrade your hardware so that the native media works without issue.

  • Exporting trimmed clips

Hi, how do I export a trimmed clip from a Premiere Elements project to another project or just to a folder on the hard drive? I have about 10 hours of raw footage (from a number of contributors) for a community video. I've captured it all on my 1.5 terrabyte external drive in one project. I would like to trim clips in that project before using them in the final edit, but I would like to create a separate project on another drive for the final edit. Hence the need to export trimmed clips. I think the huge volume of raw footage in the edit would be slow-loading and likely to freeze the computer. The raw footage is in .avi format. I have Premiere Elements 3, I'm using Windows XP-SP3, 3gb RAM 3.06gHz hyperthreading, Intel integrated graphics. Would be grateful for some advice.

Once you've trimmed your clip on your timeline, use Share/Computer to output the trimmed video.
For standard definition video, use Share/Computer/AVI with the appropriate DV preset.
    For high-definition video, use Share/Computer/MPEG with the 1440x1080 30i (25i PAL) preset.
If you'd like to know more about the basics of the program, check out my free 8 part Basic Training tutorial series on Premiere Elements support site Muvipix.com.

  • How do you export multiple clips out of Premiere CC

It's listed as a feature numerous times in the forums but I haven't been able to export cut down stock footage as individual clips. Can someone please direct me on how to do so.
    Thanks!

    Ahhh, yes.
Adobe goofed on this one.  When you export a sequence, the default is properly set up for In to Out range.  But when you export a clip, the default is Entire Clip.  This makes NO sense to me.  Why would anyone want to create an exact duplicate?  It seems much more likely that exporting a clip, you want only the In to Out far more often.
Unfortunately, there's no way to change this when selecting multiple clips.  You can only change that setting when you send a single clip.
Please let Adobe know you want the default for Sequences and Clips to be In/Out range.
    https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform
In the mean time, I'm afraid you're stuck setting up one clip at a time.
I'm on Windows, so I can't help with the ProRes issue.

  • Exporting multiple clips at one time

Hi, My school has asked me to convert old videos onto DVD media for archiving and for distribution amongst all teachers in my department. Yes I am sure some will mention legal stuff here but the videos are no long made and what we have is being held together with cellophane tape or cracking laserdisc videos (remember those?).
So far I have been able to import all the videos into iMovie. Each clip is about 1 minute or less in duration. I am now exporting one clip at a time into the requested WMV format but I can only export 1 clip at a time and I have several hundred to to. Is there a way to select multiple clips and export them one at a time without me having to select and export on clip at a time?
thanks in advance now back to exporting....

Never mind I am doing it one clip at a time. The school seems really happy about this since these video discs are no longer available for repurchase. Thanks.

  • Adobe Illustrator Export to JPEG (*.JPG) vs ICC Color Profiles vs Behance

    Hi,
I work with Adobe Illustrator CC 2014. When I export my projects into *.JPG format (using both: 'Adobe Illustrator > File > Export' and 'Adobe Illustrator > File > Save for Web') I use ‘Embed ICC’ profile option. Every common image viewer I use (including web browsers and Adobe Bridge) respects those color settings and displays exactly what has been embedded. But when posting on Behance, my color settings are converted into something else! The only solution is to place my Adobe Illustrator file into a new Adobe Photoshop document , then export it into .JPG (with embedded color settings) and then post it to Behance. With this workaround my colors look pretty correct.
Did someone experience the same and  could explain why Behance doesn’t respect the Adobe Illustrator export with embedded ICC profile settings?
one thing more – even if my *.JPG produced with Adobe Photoshop (the correct one)  is displayed correctly, the cover photo (taken from the original) is still converted into different (Behance’s default??) color space. I believe this shouldn’t work this way. Is there any workaround to this? Is there any way my covers (miniatures) display the 'true' colors?
    Please advise
    Best Regards,

ok. I give up. It seems that Adobe Illustrator can export only to the JPEG File Interchange Format (JFIF) and Behence doesn’t fully support this format (for example it cannot read its icc color data correctly):
(JPEG) Formally, the EXIF and JFIF standards are incompatible. This is because both specify that their particular application segment (APP0 for JFIF, APP1 for Exif) must be the first in the image file. In practice, many programs and digital cameras produce files with both application segments included. This will not affect the image decoding for most decoders, but poorly designed JFIF or Exif parsers may not recognize the file properly (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/JPEG_File_Interchange_Format#Exif_comparison)
I’ve analyzed my files using JPEGsnoop 1.6.1 (really cool app by Calvin Hass, http://www.impulseadventure.com/photo/) and here is what I’ve found:
    A) *.jpg produced with Adobe Illustrator > File > Export > JPEG > ICC profile embedded:
    *** Marker: SOI (xFFD8) ***
    OFFSET: 0x00000000
    *** Marker: APP0 (xFFE0) ***

    C) *.jpg produced with Adobe Photoshop > File > Save As > JPEG > ICC Profile embedded

    EXIF IFD1 @ Absolute 0x000000E0
    Dir Length = 0x0006
    [Compression ] = JPEG
    [XResolution ] = 72/1
    [YResolution ] = 72/1
    [ResolutionUnit ] = Inch
    [JpegIFOffset ] = @ +0x0132 = @ 0x013E
    [JpegIFByteCount ] = 1006
Offset to Next IFD = 0x00000000
    EXIF SubIFD @ Absolute 0x000000B4
    Dir Length = 0x0003
    [ColorSpace ] = sRGB
    [ExifImageWidth ] = 200
    [ExifImageHeight ] = 200
So unfortunately the only option to produce the EXIF JPEG from an Adobe Illustrator project is to: Export *.ai file to JPEG (under Adobe Illustrator) > go to Photoshop > Create new project > Paste the *.jpg > and Sava As JPEG with icc embedded.

    YOU SUCK ADOBE!!!

NObody is orced to download Acrobat. Still, you did, you had your trial, and now it's finished. If you don't want to buy it, just uninstall it the normal way (but DONT) just delete it, ask if you don't know how to uninstall. Once it is gone, you might have to repair Adobe Readet. So, be angry but understand you had a choice of what to download. It would help you if you remember the full names of products, there is nothing called Adobe XI.

  • Cannot export video clips.  Get message: "unable to create video for export"

Cannot export video clips from iPhoto to Finder folder.  Export fails with message "unable to create video for export: "
The video clips play correctly within iPhoto.
Software: iPhoto version 9.5 on OSX 10.9
    Hardware: Retina Macbook Pro 2.3 i7 8GB

Yes.  I have 3,184 video clips in this library.  I tested Reveal function by randomly selecting individual video clips and in every case the Reveal in Finder function worked correctly.  I also tested this on random selections of groups of video clips and, again, the Reveal function worked correctly in every case.
Some more info that may be relevant:
I have multiple iPhoto libraries.  My "main" library is very large (~30,000 files) and is located on an external hard drive (2TB WD) which is connected via USB.
The problem reported here is occuring on that "main" library.  I have not opened any other iPhoto library since installing the new release.
While the File>Export function does not work, I have been able to simply copy and paste video clips from iPhoto library to a folder on Mac hard drive.  It appears that meta data is copying correctly along with the video content.
I am able to import these copied video clips to iMovie.  Meta data is imported along with the video content and I'm able to perform iMovie editing functions on those clips without any problems.
In summary, the File>Export function still fails with the message "unable to create video for export."  Copying video clips and pasting them to interim folder seems to be a viable workaround enabling me to extract video clips from iPhoto for import to iMovie.  I will run additional tests to see if I can find a pattern to the video files that are being rejected by iPhoto Export function.

  • Export a clip to Motion

Is it possible to export a clip or a group of clips from either the timeline or the event browser in FCP X and have them open in Motion 5?
    Thanks
    David

[Roundtripping is so not on my feature list...]
Out of FCPX, simply Share > Export Movie as ProRes, any "flavor" (even Proxy should have adequate bandwidth for excellent results.) [Don't confuse proxy media in FCPX with ProRes 422 Proxy which is a full resolution format that has a bandwidth of approximately 45Mbps for 1080/30p video. Proxy media in FCPX is ProRes 422 but 1/4 resolution (i.e., 1080 video is downconverted to 960x540.)]
You can drop the video into Motion (set your project to accommodate the length of the clip, or all the clips you need), do your thing, then Share > Export out of Motion and bring the video back into FCPX.
The way I figure it, the difference between the "new way" for Motion 5 and the old roundtripping is maybe one extra rendering.
With Motion 5, you don't need the video from FCPX. You design your effect and as soon as you save it, it's available in FCPX. There is a placeholder provided (with the exception of generator templates, for which they are simply not necessary.) If you need a "reference", you can export a still and load it into the placeholder while you design, then delete it when your finished.
The way Motion 5 and FCPX work together is so much better and more efficient than the old way of FCPStudio roundtripping.
