Adobe licence costs

I have 2 questions about the licences costs of Adobe forms in SAP.
The first question:
Do you have to pay the licence costs for adobe interactive forms only one time?
Or is it once a year, month or do you have to pay licence cost after processing xxx forms?
And the second question:
What are interactive forms under the conditions of SAP?
I have read in the documentation that if the form is not editable, none extra licence cost have to be paid.
But are interactive forms, forms which are only changeable for an user? Such as a textfield, combobox or other GUI elements?
Of are interactive forms also forms which are changed by a developer? i.e. a user has changed default SAP forms, or a user has created it's own custom forms.
So, if i made a custom adobe form in SAP and i use it only for printing purposes. And if the form is used in a productive enviroment, are those interactive forms? Which an extra ADOBE licence is required? And should be paid for?
Of can i use this custom made form in the productive enviroment without an extra ADOBE licence?

Here is what I know:
- Licence is needed only for Interactive forms, meaning forms in which user can enter data.
- There is no licence needed for printable-only forms, either using a SAP provided form, custom one or modify a SAP provided form.
- Licence apply for a productive environment and I believe is per user per interactive form.
Check OSS Notes with "Adobe Credentials".
Best you can do is talk to you SAP Account representative to find out more.

Oracle Text (schema CTXSYS): additional licence costs?

it's my understanding that through installing and using Oracle-Text (schema CTXSYS) no additional licence costs arise (for Oracle Enterprise Edition).

JHAs far as I know this is correct.
Oracle Text is neither listed as an Entreprise Edition option in US price list:

In my shop, we only install Oracle Client of type Instaclient (not the 'Administrator' type). Instaclient is very basic ; it only has some basic library files and sqlplus binary (no tnsping , exp, imp,...etc). I think they are doing this for saving licence costs.
Does oracle actually charge for Oracle Client installations ? If so, is there a significant cost difference between 'Administrator' type and 'Instaclient' type ?Max wrote:

Transfering an Adobe licence / Transfer d'une licence Adobe
I recently bought a computer and need to transfer the Adobe licence (for PSE10) from my old computer to the new one. How do I do that?? thank you in advance for the answers!!

On the new computer you can install the software and use the same serial number to activate it. -

Hopefully Colum won't mind my offering up a bit of
clarification advice here. I encountered this just this week, so I
know the issue is still "out there" and will probably remain that
way as long as software like RoboHelp exists.
Often, a general misconception occurs with RoboHelp and this
type of software. The general misconception is that you have
perhaps 200 users in a call center. All of them are using RoboHelp
output to assist in doing their jobs. But you only have one or
maybe two actual "RoboHelp users". And here's where folks get
confused. Often, folks (typically management that doesn't really
have a clue about how RoboHelp is used) begin to think that if I
add more users (perhaps increasing my call center head count from
200 to perhaps 225) I need to factor in a purchase for 25 more
RoboHelp licenses.
This is dead wrong. As long as you aren't increasing the
number of people using RoboHelp to create content, you may have as
many people as you need viewing the RoboHelp output files. This bit
isn't limited. These folks aren't "RoboHelp users" as they have no
need to open RoboHelp and make changes to the content. Their only
concern is using the output.
Hopefully this isn't the case here, but it happens often
enough to warrant an explanation. This past week I conducted a
class on RoboHelp. Before arriving, the classroom did not have
RoboHelp installed on any of the classroom PCs. The company
misunderstood and thought that as long as the classroom PCs could
view the output RoboHelp creates, RoboHelp was installed.

Adobe Photoshop touch to Mac and back without adobe cloud costs & privacy issues.
How do I transfer files between Adobe Photoshop touch and my adobe creative suite applications on my mackintosh computer? I do not want to pay for additional adobe cloud services. In addition I have concerns over the privacy of adobe's cloud for certain images. As a retired plastic surgeon, I have used Photoshop for years to help with public and patient education. Final posted images can have privacy concerns addressed. I do understand that I can transfer a single layer from Photoshop touch back to the computer by mail or camera roll. procreate has a Photoshop export tool.
Where is Photoshop touches export tool? if the only tool is through the additional monthly charges of the cloud, you are alienating loyal Adobe customers.

It would be nice if there was a footnote with something to that effect. All I was seeing was the monthy and yearly fees.

What happens to my files in the cloud if I cancel my membership?

How do i move adobe licences between computers
I need to move adobe versions between computers, can I uninstall and re install on the computers I need using the same serial numbers?
Also Can I also have a record from adobe of what our organisation has purchased?You will have to manually transfer the files from one computer to the other using whatever method is easiest for you. (network, DVD, CD, hard drive) Or, put files on network drive. That's what I do.

If you wish to use it on both computers, just install on the new one as you did on the old one.
If you wish to only use it on the new one, deactivate and uninstall on the old one, then install on the new one.
You are allowed to use it on two computers at a time. -

We have Oracle licence already.
Do we need to have separate licence for Instant client or it is free?Yes, thanks for pointing that out. When you download a thousand times such details might just become lost behind a click, scroll, scroll and click procedure.
However, what I was trying to get at was that most product downloads if not all requires a "real" license, unless you want to only play a bit with it on your laptop. But in this case the license is somewhat more generous. Of course, you or your customers would still need to license the database servers. -
I saw that there was various options for converting documents to/from pdf starting at $1.99/mo. However, I went to pick this as an option and I cannot find it. Only gives me the option for $89/year.

3) So that customers will open the portal and then opens the AIF and enters the input data
4) Finally, they will submit the form for workflow

until such time SAP delivers Adobe Document Services in Hana Cloud, in case you don't have it available somwehere in your landscape yet, you'd need to install ADS on SAP Netweaver usage type AS Java. The use of Interactive Forms can unter certain circumstances be subject to additional Adobe licence costs.
