I have designed one form in Adobe lifecycle designer. In that form i have button to export pdf to xml.it is working in adobe lifecycle pdf preview screen,but if you open in adobe reader export functionality is not working.How the end user will export pdf to xml. Please kindly suggest me any method to same export functionality in pdf adobe reader for end user. Thanks in advance.

PDF Printer not working in Adobe XI

The PDF Printer option is not working in Adobe XI. We are using Windows 8. When I open the printer box and select Adobe PDF, I get an error message stating "The server threw an exception." The "Save as PDF" and "Convert to PDF" options work but those options are not always available.

A server exception would suggest you are using Acrobat in the cloud. I don't have an answer in that case other than trying later. Is the Adobe PDF printer indeed installed on your machine or in the cloud?

Adobe Create PDF printer not working fully!

Hi all!
I have a minor problem with Adobe Create PDF printer. I installed and I was able to print couple word docs, but stopped working.
I dont know why. I am still able to print web pages and others, but cant "print" pdf from word, ooutlook, Autocad, etc.
It is stopped working correctly after I tried to print from Autocad, also I have had problems with activating my Photoshop sub and Adobe support made same changes to my AAM and Photoshop, may be that is what caused my problem, I don't know, neither does support. Support has no other idea we went thru every detail but still can't use Create PDF correctly.
Any ideas?
I have already installed this hotfix:

Adobe thumbnail preview does not work in adobe acrobat 8.0

I have user login using his profile and suddenly his not able to view thumbnail preview of PDF file using navigation panel but the thumbnail preview
work in administrator profile.
Si, I guess some settings blocking in user profile to view thumbnail preview.
I have checked the settings that I know but it still does not work.

Links to embedded pdf files not working in iOS reader

I have created a pdf document that links to a variety of embedded pdf files.
When I open this file in the iOS reader on my iPad 3, the links are not active. All of the embedded files are listed in the attachments list, but the links themselves do not launch the attachments.

We only support internal and http links in the current reader,not including links to attachments. However, PDF attachments should be open-able using the attachments button (bottom right). It should also work for password protected documents. If it does not, please share a sample file with us at [email protected] so we can investigate.

Save As function not working in Adobe 11

When I do a Save As on a PDF file Adobe Reader seems to save the file normally. However once I browse to that location there is no PDF file. I'm working with PDF files that are on the local hard drive. I'm using Adobe 11 on Windows 7 64bit. I'm not seeing any error messages.

Please note if you are using "Orthographic" mode then the gold arrow works fine and has a true location on the box (both Adobe 9 and Adobe .
If you are using "Perspective" mode then the problem is occurred.
In this case the gold arrow (pointer) has a false location on the box (on Adobe 9 only).
I am guessing that something in "Perspective algorithm" has been broken.
Could somebody can to me a some suggestion?

Event.hits property does not work at Adobe 9

I have just discovered that the property "event.hits" does not work at Adobe Reader 9 properly.
I have some JavaScript, which uses this property:
if (event.hits.length > 0)
var targetPos = event.hits[0].position;
Now, at Adobe Reader 9 the value of "event.hits[0].position" is not correct.
At Adobe 8 Standard this JavaScript works very well!
Can you comment this issue?

Using 10.6.8, internet pdf documents not opening using Adobe Reader; how is this corrected? I've tried changing "sharing and permissions" to "read and write" as suggested on other help sites, but this did not correct the problem.

B.   Downloading Google Chrome browser and then
C.   Downloading the latest Adobe Reader for Mac 10.6.8 in Google Chrome--it works
Adobe acknowledges problem with the latest Snow Leopard update 10.6.8 and with this work around, I can open PDF's using the Google Chrome Browser.
Is this the ideal solution---NO. Safari is my main browser. I now have to use a separate browser for PDF's.

I have a ECC 6.0 ABAP SP12Stack installation and a seperate NW04s SP13 Portal installation. I have done all the configuration steps of ADS integration on those 2 systems.
I developed a WebDynpro application and used the interactive form object referring to a simple Adobe form created with transaction SFP. As I test the Webdynpro ABAP application I get the following error "ADS: com.adobe.ProcessingException: PDF is not interactive. Data can only be imported into interactive forms.(201501)" in UPDATE_PDF method of class CL_WD_ADOBE_SERVICES. Do you have any idea for the reason of this error?

The Interactive Form was working well before the update. As soon as we set our patched Web Dynpro development environment to use an ADS not yet patched, it works perfectly.

Glyph's in the Adobe Lifecycle PDF

I created a form in livecycle adobe pdf to be filled in Adobe Reader. I need to do an OCR on the PDF but when i try it, it does not recognize come characters (like: ç; ã, etc.), which may be gylph print as image? Therefore, these characters are being treated as image and not as text.
Is it possible to turn off Glyph's in the Adobe Lifecycle PDF application or in other configuration of Adobe Reader?
