I'm trying to export from Premiere Pro for a f4v file that matches all source settings except resizing the video. I've done this a million times but today, when I hit EXPORT, I'm getting an error message from Adobe Media Encoder that says "the source and output audio channels are not compatible or a conversion does not exist." I'm using wav, mov and mts files in my audio tracks and everything plays happily in the timeline. Any ideas?

Adobe Media Encoder CC 7.2.2 Update Update is not applicable. Error Code: U44M2P28

I have Adobe Media Encoder which is no longer launching or recognised by Adobe App Manager. How cool is that. Can't install trial version of AME. Get the above error when doing so.
Why did AME just stop working?
No updates to either OS or Adobe product....why oh why...I have to export for a SFX spot session & now I have to use Premiere Pro to do it & stop editing!
Any solutions welcome by those who've been through this before.

However I'm in the middle of a doco with tight deadlines for festival delivery & I can't afford to reinstall everything again at this point...ideally I'd like to remain on the same version of PPCC without upgrading (& so with it any number of new issues I haven't got time to deal with which would be the case if following your strategy). Better the devil you know & all that.
Can I delete apps using the cleaner tool & then reload 7.2.1 PPCC instead of the latest version? Is AME still working with this version of PPCC? Let me know the workflow & links if possible.

Adobe Media Encoder lost sound and had 128MB file - Why?

Guys,
Any help would be appreciated. I usually use Adobe Media Encoder to convert my files to flv or f4l - But something happened on the way to the party - The file was an .avi file about 100MB and AME would give me a file of about 128MB with no sound and the conversion took about 11 minutes. Someone on another forum suggested Xilisoft Video Converter I had never used. This thing got the sound right file was 48MB and it was done in ONE MINUTE AND 48 SECONDS...
Obviously I was doing something wrong with Adobe Media Encoder can anyone suggested what I was messing up.

I do not know exactly the setting to did in the AME, but this problem generally happned when you do not select to export the sound along with the video and do not set a compression for the output video.

Adobe Media Encoder CS 6 works for one user login - not the other

Slightly odd... but Adobe Media Encoder CS 6 will open fine in my basic test user account but not my main user account (or guest account).
In my main account in will crash just before it starts to load up all the bits 'n' pieces but loads up perfectly in my test account.
So there's no problem other than something different about the USER accounts and I really can't work out what that could be. Anyone got any ideas?
I also have AME 5.5 in both accounts and they both work perfectly.

Oh, I've just realised that chucking away the AME prefs from (below) has solved the problem. Someone mentioned chucking away prefs in another thread but I must have chucked the wrong ones. So, if anyone else has this problem then try this...
USER Library > Preferences > Adobe > Adobe Media Encoder (chucked this whole folder way containing 5.5 and 6 prefs). New ones were made and both working perfectly

When rendering with Adobe Media Encoder, the sound only starts playing at 1 minute and 20 seconds

So I have this problem: I have a video which is an hour long and when I try to render it via AME the result will have the audio of the video starting at around the 1 minute 20 mark. I render to the YouTube 1080p preset.
What I have tried to fix this is:
- use .wav instead of .mp3 (didn't work)
- use After Effects itself to render the video (this worked)
- change the video start time to 1 minute and 20 seconds and then made AME start the render at that (didn't work)
- re-render (didn't work even on different presets)
It's also not my audio file because I've tried rendering it with the audio starting at 1:20 and then the track was playing from the start.
The video contains one audio track and one video and the project file is in After Effects.
Is my AME bugged or am I doing something terrible wrong?
Hope to hear from you guys.
PS: I really don't want to render via After Effects, due to file size.

I'm having a very similar problem. I just purchased a larger SD card thinking it was the card but it's definitely Media Encoder.
Mine is also crashing in the middle of renders and causing my computer to crawl.

Ummm, okay. I'm still a bit at a loss as to what you are
looking for. I'm guessing you mean that you want some sort of a
system that would deal only with your source files. Only seen by
you or the development team?
On your initial post, I could see where you may have been
wanting something on either side. Either a way to manage many
different output files and present them as a cohesive whole to the
user. Or a way to manage the source content as you work with it.
So you aren't looking for source control per se, but
something more. Exactly what, we aren't sure. Perhaps try to
explain what you would like to see in such a system. Maybe if you
do that, someone here might see your list of desirable features and
recommend a system they have used before or are aware of that does
it.

I have the iPhone5S and my photo's are not syncing.

When I sync with my desktop, many of my photo's are not syncing. Instead of displaying the photo, a gray square is displayed with a ".jpg" in the middle of the graphic. Is anyone having this issue?

I found out what to do. All I had to do is Invite her from the Calendar I want to share from the iCloud control panel. Then she had to accept it and sign in to her iCloud account. Awesome!

The back and forward browser buttons are NOT ALWAYS available to use, so once I open a web-site I can not go back to what I was looking at previously. This has only started happening recently?

The back and forward browser button always works when we first get online, and then over some time it will not work and then will work again (working again is happening less). I have re-started the computer many times to fix the issue.

Updated the system and now many buttons are not working

After updating the operating system to the osx 10.9.2 I have many problem with various buttons. The main switch doesn't work when I wanted to switch the mac off. On the keyboard I can't enlarge or reduce the window screen using two fingers and so on.

Try resetting the SMC. For a Retina or unibody model, follow the procedure for "a battery you should not replace yourself."

The presets and brushes I installed are not showing up.

I have installed lightroom 5 on my windows 8 PC. I had lightroom on my previous laptop, which was also windows, and had to purchase it again. Anyway, I installed some brushes and presets on it and they will not show up anywhere. I've done this before and never had any issues. I have googled everything and am coming up with nothing. Can you please help me?

What version of PSE? And is this on a mac? If so you never, never, never want to put ANYTHING in the system folder.

Adobe Media Encoder not working

When I opened the Adobe Media Encoder, the "Start Queue" button is gray (it can't be clicked). There is also an error message that says fireworks.mov (the file I was trying to open) could not be imported by Adobe Media Encoder. Also, DivX appears as the file icon. Could this have anything to do with it? Does anyone have suggestions?

Export 24 Bit Source WAV as 32 Bit Float Before Converting In Adobe Media Encoder?

Hi,
I'm exporting movies from After Effects as .avi and wondering what I need to do to preserve my audio as close to the source as possible. My source audio file is 24bit / 48K. I am using Adobe Media Encoder to encode the video/audio as YouTube Widescreen HD, but since After Effects doesn't offer 24bit export, should I export as 32bit float? And is this going to alter my audio in any way before it goes to Adobe Media Encoder?
I've read about this on some different forums, but am still not clear about it..

Thanks for your response. The issue that I'm running into with Adobe Premiere is that I've created "odd" frame rates in After Effects to sync my animations in "time" with my music. For this particular animation, the BPM of my music is 72.5, so I've used half of that, 36.25 FPS to perfectly line up my animation in After Effects. It locks right in with the BPM. I've tested this out on YouTube, where my videos are headed, and it works perfect. The problem is that Premiere is not using the source (After Effects) frame rate and and I have to choose from a set list of frame rates. Is Premiere limited to these frame rates? If that's the case, then I guess the only other option for me is to export from After Effects as 32bit float and test to see if their is even a difference from the source WAV. Most people are not going to be monitoring with high end D/A converters anyways, so it's probably not even going to make a difference. However, I have put a lot of work into this project and I want to deliver the best possible master.

Adobe Media Encoder cuts off video layer when the Ultra Key effect is applied

I am working on a Mac (10.8.5) using the latest verison of Premiere Pro CC. I am using Ultra Key to remove the chroma key background from the "talent layer" and adding a "new background layer" behind the talent video layer. When I export directly from Premiere, the sequence exports as expected. However, I have many sequences, and wish to speed up the process using Adobe Media Encoder. When I export the same sequence using Adobe Media Encoder, the top half of the "talent layer" is completly cut off:
The issue has something to do with the Ultra key effect because when I remove the effect from the "talent layer" it exports in tact (with a chroma key background of course). Adobe Media Encoder CC is up to date as well; are there any known bugs with Media Encoder CC and the Ultra Key effect in Premiere Pro?

Adobe Media Encoder pausing rendering while working in Premiere Pro

Hello everyone,
So I am redering a video in Adobe Media Encoder and at the same time I am editing a new one in Premiere Pro.
I noticed that AME is constantly pausing the rendering and did not know why. It turns out that while I'm editing a video in Premiere Pro, I am constantly pressing the space bar to start/pause the video I'm editing. While I do that, AME keeps pausing/unpausing the rendering. Somehow, pressing the space bar in PP has an effect in AME.
I have no clue why it does that because the Premiere Pro window has the focus, not the AME one.
Has anyone ever seen that?
I use Windows 8 and Adobe CC.

Yes I do queue footage by having an Autowatch set up on the directories where the video is written to. I rarely do a direct export unless testing new settings.
Don't take this as gospel but I too had a feeling that GPU acceleration didn't happen with AME, only direct export. Not sure where that came from, I did watch some of the recent Adobe TV Web Seminar's about new features of CC products etc, so maybe on one of those?
I found this while trying to find out where I had seen it but it is from AMD site not Adobe so whether it's fully 100% correct I dunno:
