Hi all,
I'm looking for Adobe Mobile Packager v1.1 to wrap my swf file but the link to it on Adobe website is no longer available. Could someone share this software to me please? Thanks

I havent found the free packager online since Adobe has removed it from its site. You can refer to my blog: http://thethoughtprogresses.blogspot.com/2010/02/nokia-s60-flash-lite-application.html once you find one and start creating a package. The best bet for distributing to Nokia devices is to use the Forum Nokia online packager:

Nokia 5800 Express and Adobe Mobile Packager

Hi.
I wanted to use the mobile packager to get an app onto a Nokia 5800.
But I couldn't find the Nokia 5800 on the list of devices supported by the Abode Mobile Packager.
I created the app in Flash CS4...if I don't use the Mobile Packager how can I get the app onto the Nokia device?

As of today we do not support the Nokia 5800 within the mobile packager, to package for this device you can use the Forum Nokia packager or SWFPack.com

Application Flash Lite version - Adobe Mobile Packager

After I open a new packager project, Application Flash Lite
version is not able to selected. It sets 3.1 as default version of
flash lite. How can I make that enable and pick the version of
flash lite I would like ?

It is not necessary to set the option, your application will
run on the latest Flash Player.
We will remove this option in the next version.

These packages are native binary code for the device, for testing you can use Adobe Device Central and a supported device for real world test.
I suggest something like an N95 device from Nokia.

Adobe CC Packages - 1603 MSI Errors

I have several installations of Adobe Creative Cloud applications to install at a client site.
(Photoshop \ Dreamweaver \ Flash \ Illustrator etc....)
Each Adobe CC application has been packaged individually with the Adobe CC packager tool as some are quite large.
They all install fine individually either manually or via our deployment tool ConfigMgr 2012.
However, if more than one is required, then we hit problems with the second application logging a 1603 MSI error (that is very generic).
MSI Log:
CustomAction CADeploy returned actual error code 1603 (note this may not be 100% accurate if translation happened inside sandbox)
After days of time checking and testing it seems that the Creative Cloud exe itself and subsequent dlls do not like being overwritten when they are running. I found this in the PDApp Log.

I tired task killing the creative cloud exe (so I could script an install), but this was not sufficient and has not guaranteed all applications will install correctly. Therefore the only solution I seem to have is to only allow installs when users are not logged in. Is this a known issue with Adobe CC applications created by the packager? My client uses 6 of the applications in the suite. I'd rather not bundle all 6 together as this creates one rather large 6.6GB install and not all users need all the Adobe CC applications.
By forcing applications to only install when no users are logged in reduces the 'On Demand' service of deploying applications and increases the cost of supporting these applications.
Is this a known issue?
Is there a way to script stop the creative suite to allow additional applications to install, that are packaged with the Adobe Create Cloud Packager tool?

I too am having this same issue but it doesn't appear to matter if a user is logged in or not.
I can get packages for Illustrator, Photoshop and some others to work, but can't get InDesign or the full suite to work.
Have you heard anything back regarding this? The package just doesn't work, I'm thinking it may be time to capture an MSI the hard way.

How can I download Adobe CC Package for Windows version 1.1?

I'm the user administrator of Adobe CC for teams in a spanish company. The problem that we found is we can't download the 1.1 version of the Adobe CC Package, just because in the spanish website it's only available the 1.0.

As per your question – follow this link http://www.adobe.com/products/adobe-media-server-family.html, download and install AMS Starter, then inside \tools\f4fpackager you’d find the F4F packager command-line application.

I'm testing the RoboHelp Adobe Air packager and noticed that
it produces an *.exe file that must be launched locally. This makes
it seem like it's only an alternative to the *.CHM format for
desktop applications?
Is there a way to link to webhelp topics packaged using Adobe
Air to provide context-sensitive help (CSH) for a web application
running on a remote server? Supposedly the Adobe Air packager has
CSH capabilities, but I've found zero documentation on how to set
this up.

Hello! I have been experimenting with the RoboHelp Packager
for Adobe Air. I really like the many extra features using Adobe
Air allows for Help Files and of course, I also like that you can
finally do a Help File that looks and feels more up-to-date than
the normal boring chm files.
My question is, since I am about to suggest to my company for
us to begin doing our Help Files with Adobe Air Packager, can
someone tell me how to find out if Adobe will continue offering the
RoboHelp Packager for the next versions of RoboHelp? I don't want
to suggest using Adobe Air to then have to revert to the old
fashioned chm's later on...

I guess you can try the following options
Remove the all the entry from the TOC of your project or create a new blank TOC and select that while AIR file generation
Remove the all the entry from the index of your project or create a new blank index and select that while AIR file generation
Remove the all the entry from the glossary of your project or create a new blank glossary file and select that while AIR file generation
THis will ensure that TOC/Index/Glossary page is not shown,
There is no way to hide Favorite or RSS from the AIR Help. Again, you can try looking at the Unipane Template provided in the AIR SSL Dialog.

I have signed out and back in, I have restarted my Mac.
I spoke to the help desk and then I signed out uninstalled Lightroom
Reinstalled lightroom and signed in but Mobile is still expired.

Depending on the software you'll use - I doubt you'll be an expert on After Effects and use Photoshop, Illustrator and Dreamweaver like a pro (you may be an exception) - I have a 13" Macbook Pro simply because the 15" lacks the portability of the smaller size - the Retina 15" is alot lighter and if you can afford it - go for it!
I bought the Macbook Pro and replaced the 4GB of RAM with 8GB of RAM and replaced the HDD with an m4 SSD from Crucial. The SSD really makes a difference in app start up speeds, loading times and bootup speeds. The RAM ensures apps operate smoothly and everything is snappy. Since getting an SSD, I would say the performance of Photoshop and Illustrator is vastly improved. I can have both open whilst surfing the web, checking my email and even using Dreamweaver every once in a while. Multitasking is great.
To conclude, depedning on your price range, buying a £999 Macbook Pro and swapping the HDD for an SSD and the 4GB of RAm to 8GB, will ensure better performance than both 15" Models. However, buying a 15" Model and maxing out the specs, would beat the performance of a maxed out 13".
I have a 13" and it runs faster than it was when I first purchased it last year. Photoshop opens in 2/3 seconds and performance is great.
Hope this helps.
P.S. If you have the money, get the 15" Retina. If not, max out the 13" if you still want portability. Otherwise, get the 15" and max that out if you feel performance is poor.
The reason I say Retina, is because the maxed ram and SSD is already installed and saves alot of hassle aswell as the slimmer design and lighter weight.
