Adobe Muse 30-day trial

I have just installed the 30-day trial of Adfobe Muse.  I am running it on a PC with Windows 7.  I cannot get beyond "Error #2014".  Any solutions?

I'm a few steps in, to the "Setting elements in master pages to display in the foreground" section.   • Publishing in Existing Sites in Muse 30-Day Trial

    Is there a way to publish to an existing site in the Muse 30 day trial? Or is it new sites only? I have a site I published with the Muse (code name) Beta, and now with the trial, it claims the current site is 'unavailable to this user.' Anyone? I'll be happy to buy the monthly subscription, I just didn't know if I needed to yet, or if there's a way through this first.
    Any suggestion would be VASTLY appreciated.

    I want to know how to publish my site by uploading files to a Godaddy web server when I click on publish the only option I have is to use Business Catalyst, I want to use my Godaddy hosting and my own domain name.
    I have my own domain name and hostin service that I want to use, but I don´t have the option: File > Upload to FTP Host 
    I only can Publish to a new site as http://<blank>.businesscatalyst.com

  • I got the Adobe free 30 day trial for Acrobat XI.

    I got the Adobe free 30 day trial for Acrobat XI. Now after 30 days I can't open any Adobe file I have. Before the trial I could open them all. I got the trial to edit some files. I just want to return to the way it was previously where I could open and read all Adobe files people sent to me. This stinks! I took your free trial and now after the 30 days I am locked out of all the Adobe files. That is lame!!!   HELP!!

    You're misunderstanding. Nothing has been locked. The problem is that you still have the trial on your system - because you might want to license it. Since you don't want to buy it, uninstall it. Once that is done, you might have to do a REPAIR on Adobe Reader, but anyway it is ready and willing to carry on opening PDFs when you let it.

  • Adobe Muse CC 2014 Trial Error

    I have been having trouble getting adobe muse cc trial to work, some of you may have seen my other post, however since adobe came out with the update yesterday, i thought i would uninstall the other copy and try a trial of the 2014 update.
    However i did get closer to muse opening this time, it did load on the splash screen, however i then get this error.
    I'm not asking for a lot but whatever i try and do muse just won't work, whatever version it is.
    Can anyone help with this error please.

    I got the solution on this forum on another thread.
    Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe(if you have 64 bit os, go to Program Files x86). There is a folder called "SLCache", go the properties of that folder & just uncheck the "Read Only" check box.
    Hope this may solve your problem.

    Try logging to the site admin console and under Site Manager -> Pages , you may find 2 index pages, open each of them and set the required one as a start page under Actions -> Set as a Start page.

    As Syrax12 pointed out, Parallax Scrolling has moved from the Effects panel to the Scroll Effects panel. Some of the videos from June 2013 refer to the old location under the Effects panel.

    Sorry to hear that you are having trouble, Please let us know that, Are you facing this issue with a specific pdf or with all the pdf file that you try to open up with Acrobat?
    Moreover, What exactly happens after you get rid of that 'trial window'? - Does the program abruptly terminate or Do you get any error message on the screen or any other prompt window?

  • Not Allowed to use Adobe Muse in Creative Cloud trial

    I previously had a month-to-month Adobe Muse subscription and just started the Creative Cloud Trial. Because i had canceled my month-to-month subscription, the Muse application will not let me open files unless I renew my subscription - even though I now have a 1-month trial of Creative Cloud. Is there any way to resolve this so that I can use Muse with this one month trial?

    You will not be able to use Muse as a 30 day trial since you already had a month-to-month subscription of Muse.
    From the Creative Cloud FAQ here http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/faq.html under General Information:
    If I decide to stop my membership, will I still be able to use my Creative Suite software and the other components of Creative Cloud?
    When you cancel a month-to-month or annual membership purchased directly from Adobe or let a 3- or 12-month prepaid membership purchased from a retailer expire, you will no longer have access to the CS applications, other desktop software, and services that are components of Creative Cloud. However, if you saved your work to your computer, you will continue to have access to those files.     Since I already have all the adobe software in CS4 (including PS, ID, AI.. etc).
    Which I am happy in using them.

    however, it asked me to update and let me have 30 days trial on using only.
    otherwise, I will need to purchase it.
    I am willing to buy it cause it is a very good software for us who can't write program codes.

  • Can't install 30 day trial, Adobe Support is no help

    I've had no help at all from Adobe Support over the last couple days and have grown extremely frustrated.
    I'm trying to install CS6 on my new Mac. I deactivated it on my PC, but when I try to install it on my Mac, I'm told my serial number is invalid. After some research, I've learned I need to contact Adobe about this to do a cross grade, but none of the support outlets are working for me. The phone number says there is no phone support for CS, and the chat is perpetually not available or fails just as I get in contact with an employee. Sometimes it works but I can't answer back even though I can see answers coming in.
    In the meantime, I wanted to install a 30 day trial of CS6 so I don't get too behind on my work, but when I try installing it, I get the message that I need to close Safari first. I've followed all the steps Adobe provides in making sure the application is closed, and it most certainly is, but I still get the message that Safari needs to be closed. When I try to contact Adobe about this, I run into the same problems. This time, chat isn't even offered to me as an option.
    I don't know what I'm supposed to do, and Adobe has done nothing to help me in addressing my issues. Can anyone please point me in the right direction to fixing these problems? I would greatly appreciate it.

    Lindsay Duet I am sorry you have faced so much difficulty contacting our support team.  You may want to try utilizing a different web browser if you continue to face difficulty contacting support.
    In regards to needing to close Safari.  Have you tried closing the process using the Activity Monitor located in the Applications/Utilities folder?  If so then please reboot your computer, make sure Safari is quit, and try the installation again.
    Finally you are welcome to purchase the upgrade to CS6 online.  Please make sure that you choose Mac OS when purchasing the upgrade.  You will want to make sure you are logged into the same account which has your copy of CS5 registered when you make the purchase.  You can purchase the upgrade to CS6 at Creative Suite 6.

  • Updated to Adobe Muse CC 2014, 2 days ago and I CANT even open it! It keeps on displaying the same ASSERTION FAILED IN FILE error.

    I love muse and have been using for years now. A couple of days ago I was really exited that they had a new version the  ADOBE MUSE CC 2014 so I updated it in my laptop. Now it wont even open. I had spent the last 3 days uninstalling and reinstalling MUSE CC 2014 thinking that it would help. But nothing works. I keep on having the same ASSERTION FAILED IN FILE error. At this point I am pretty much desperate and do not know really what to do and to make matters worse I have freelance work that needs to be done and update. If anyone can help I would really appreciated it.
    In addition, if anyone from the MUSE CC SUPPORT TEAM is reading this, please work on making access to you guys easier. I honestly could not find a way to talk to anyone from the ADOBE MUSE CC support team about this problem.

    I had the same problem but good news is I found the reason of problem and solution;
    I was using Windows 7 in English with timezone setting for Turkey. Adobe Muse was in English and had same problem, to solve this issue I even installed new Windows but it happened again.
    Solution is easy, I just changed Muse language settings from English to Turkish and so far so good i never had any crash or problem.
