Adobe muse 32 and 64bit

The latest version of Muse runs only in 64bit computers. I am using only 32bit what I am supposed to do?? This is so frustrating. After spending thousands of dollars on buying your software you people stopped making 32bit versions of Muse. And now this is causing me problems to my business because some features are only available in the new version and I need them. And before anyone tell me to buy a 64bit computer the answer is don't want to. I've a total of $56000 worth of software installed on my computer (I am an architect too) and most of them are 32bit designed. So I can use only computer. What is the latest version of muse running in 32bit?

The last version for Muse that was supported on 32-bit machines was Muse 7.4 which was an AIR based application. You may be able to download and install the same on your machine and ignore prompts to update the application, however none of the features added to Muse after that version will not be available for that version.

Custom blog in Adobe Muse and BC can't get body copy css to work

Hello,
I've been creating a custom blog through Adobe Muse and in Business Catalyst according to directions I found in a video.
Seems like everything is working out for the most part with adding custom styles to modulestylesheets.css however, I can not for the life of me get the body text of the
blog to cooperate. At least according to the video I'm following.
This is the css I'm adding according to instructions and it's the only part that won't work - won't change. My guess is that something somewhere else is over riding this but I can't find it.

I checked the details layout of the blogs and seems the font-family is entered in the inline code of the blog post and it is taking preceedence over the system css.
You can go to the content of blog post and change the font-family: calibri, serif to font-family: inherit, it should take the font from the modulestylesheet.css

You can use something like this in the post or post list: {tag_blogpostday}, {tag_blogpostmonth}, {tag_blogpostyear}

Create and send EDM using Adobe MUSE and Business Catalyst.

There is just one thing missing in my armour as a graphic designer – creating and sending EDMs.
Given the success of creating websites using Adobe Muse, an EDM functionality would be a fantastic addition to MUSE and Business Catalyst (BC). Imagine this:
1. I open Adobe Muse.
2. I select "New EDM" (instead of "New Site").
3. I design and build my EDM to spec.
4. I test my EDM using 'Preview' or a single send to myself.
5. I publish my EDM to Business Catalyst.
6. In BC, I review my EDM and add 'FROM NAME', 'FROM EMAIL ADDRESS' and 'SUBJECT'.
7. I import my database.
8. I hit SEND!
After my EDM has gone out, I can review a report in BC - just like any report for a website.
As a designer that does not know code but can build a website using MUSE - creating an EDM is the one thing I can't personally offer. Using a digital supplier can be expensive and website like Mail Chimp aren't professional enough.
To the Adobe Muse team, please – for the love of humanity – consider this as viable addition to MUSE. You will save a lot of heart ache and win a lot of hearts.

Integrating Adobe Muse and Business Catalyst

Hello. Normally I don't take on CMS or E-Commerce sites because I'm kinda simple in the head when it comes to figuring out code and stuff, but with the integration between Adobe Muse and Adobe Business Catalyst I'm thinking about giving it a shot. (And I kinda need the moolah, to be honest...)
I'm trying to bid two sites, one CMS and one a fairly small E-Commerce, both for the same customer. I'm hoping to find a kind and patient person with Business Catalyst and Muse experience who can help me figure out what BC will cost so I can bid the job accurately (BC has so many different packages and whatnot I really don't know which one to buy - I'm truly baffled by the options and don't want to bid the sites based on BC costing me $400 a year, only to find I need to buy the $900/month option), then help answer all the goofy questions I'll have when I try to get Muse and BC to work together. If anyone is willing to help me through this project via phone and/or e-mail, please PM me - I'll gladly pay for your time (I don't expect good advice for free).

Working with Adobe Muse and BC?

I have been working with Adobe muse for a little bit now and I am wanting to take my website to the next level. I am specifically looking at the webCommerce Business Catalyst package. I just want to know how hard it is to embed things like an interactive calendar, a login section for members, an eCommerce shop, etc. Do you need to be a wiz at coding or can you get by using just the absolute basics? I want to be able to design the buttons myself and lay the things out in muse, is this possible or do you need to do everything by code?

So I've worked out how to get a secure zone (login page) within my Adobe Muse site.
I now want to know if its possible for me to integrate separate CRM system into each of the individuals/users secure zone.
My company uses a CRM system (not BC) which allows me to produce HTML forms which are custom to our sales advisors, so a sales advisor can fill in a form and then we get an alert to follow up this lead which they have given us. I want to embed each of these custom HTLM forms into each different users secure zone. I hope this makes sense?
So if someone has a secure zone/login page for my website can I personalise what they see on that page e.g. so each different user will see a different thing?

Disable every single web fonts in adobe muse and prevent it from loading open-sans:n3:all.js

I'm using Adobe Muse 2014.2 to build a Chinese site. The audience of the site is mainly people in mainland china, and I'm using a server from Hong Kong. Recently I just tested the site, however, it was loading extremely slow. In the end I found out that the cause of the slow loading was due to a file called "open-sans:n3:all.js" that was loaded from adobe webfonts.
Because a lot of sites are blocked in China, I think that Adobe Web Fonts (or typekit) is also blocked thus can't be loaded properly, causing the entire site to slow down.
Is there a way to disable all the webfonts in Muse and to prevent my site from loading this file?
Or is there a way I can host this file on my own server?

This was a snapshot that my friend in China sent to me. You can see that the open-sans:n3:all.js is taking extremely long to load.
Yet the funny thing is that I did not use any web fonts in my site. However Muse is still adding it in the code for some reason.

Adobe Muse and updater fail

I recently updated Adobe updater. Now I have no updates and I can not get into Muse. Asks for login info but then dead ends by saying no internet connection.

When trying to get into Muse CC in Windows7, window pops up saying:

Adobe Muse and Webdav

The server that I am required to use will only accept webdav transfer. They do not allow ftp. How do I set up webdav in Adobe Muse? I know how to set it up in Dreamweaver.

You can only use a CMS system if you host using Adobe's Buisness Catalyst (good luck if you do as it's not very good in my view).
It has been asked since the first release that Muse should be able to handle a decent CMS system or even allow it to be created but this seems to have fallen on deaf ears so far.
There are options around it - for example any page that you wish to allow editing you could design and write in Dreamweaver using the components from DMXZone.com
You can then just Embed the page into Muse which would then use the same functionalites.
Obviously this will depend on how good you are at coding etc.. it's not something I have tried as yet but I have had success with the Mp3 player from DMXZone working within a Muse site, so there's no reason why it would not work.

Adobe Muse and Secure Zones

I have an Adobe muse site that I am trying to add a secure zone too. I have done everything I need to add the secure zone. I even set up the form with a user name and password. My problem is when i take the HTML code for the form and insert it into my adobe muse site and upload the site the form is deleted from the Business Catalyst portal. So the secure zone exists and I am able to log in with a user name and password that was manually entered in the portal. However, if you try to fill out the form on the site after hitting submit you will notice that the form says its not longer valid, I'm guessing because the upload from muse deleted the form from the web forms manager. Any help is appreciated.

JD, you need to follow these steps to avoid your forms getting deleted when publishing from Muse:
Create the Web Form in BC
Add it to a page (any page, even a blank page)
Submit the form once
Now if you publish from Muse, your web form won't get deleted anymore.
