Adobe Muse cc starts as a Testversion

Hi, when i try to start adobe muse cc, it tells me i only can start it as a testversion für 30 days. what can i do!

Do you have a paid subscription to the product? Verify that you are using the correct e-mail for your subscription.

    Please follow the mentioned steps if you have Creative Cloud Team and Creative Cloud Individual subscription.
    Windows: Navigate to C/Users/Users name/App Data/Local/Adobe/OOBE/opm.db and rename it.
    Mac: ~Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE/opm.db and rename it. (http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/access-hidden-user-library-files.html)
    Launch Muse and sign in with your Adobe Id to activate the subscription .

  • Starting an Adobe Muse CC class

    Hello,
    I would like to start a class within my local community education class program for those interested in making a web page while introducing to them Adobe Muse as an easy way to create simple web pages quickly.  The community ed offers the use of computer labs at different school sites within our school district and they would allow me to install software temporarily while I teach a class. 
    The idea of the class is to teach them Adobe Muse by hands on learning.  I would like them to each be able to use the software to follow along and explore the program, then at the end of the course they could decide to purchase the program on their own. 
    What are my options in doing this?  I can only temporarily install these programs and I might be at different locations each semester.  Any suggestions would be useful in my decision of offering this class.  Thanks in advance!

    Ah, you want to delete not really the hyperlinks, but the linked files! That is quite easy!
    • Open the assets panel and click onto the "sort" icon.
    • Look for the category "upload". There you will find all your upload-files listed.
    • Clicking on one of these files activates the thrash icon.
    • Click onto the thrash icon and the file will no longer be uploaded.

    Please try some steps below,
    Windows
    Click on the "Start" menu. Select "All Programs" and then "Accessories"
    Right-click on "Notepad" and select "Run as Administrator"
    Click "Continue" on the "Windows needs your permission" dialog
    When Notepad opens, click File and select Open
    In the filename field type the following:
    C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\hosts
    If any entries in the host file include keywords such as "adobe," ask the user to delete those entries. These are used for Adobe Licensing.
    From the "File" menu select "Save" after making changes
    Restart Muse
    Macintosh
    Click on the "Finder" icon. Select the "Applications" folder
    Open the "Utilities" folder and select "Terminal"
    Type the following:
    sudo nano /etc/hosts
    Enter the OS user's associated password when prompted
    If any entries in the host file include keywords such as "adobe," ask the user to delete those entries. These are used for Adobe Licensing.
    Press control+o to save the file
    Press control+x to close the file
    Restart Muse
    Let me know if it works

  • Starting adobe muse, but can't

    Hi all,
    I have downloaded trial version of Adobe Muse and just wanted to work along with Katie's tutorial.
    First problem: My Adobe Muse keeps telling me there is a new update which I already installed. I know there is a topic about this with an explanations, but they do not work. After that, I downloaded the 'Start Muse First Site' map and clicked on 'CC Getting Started Katies', but this doesn't do anything. It only opens Muse, but it does not install any library items.. I'm afraid I can't go on doing this tutorial without these items. And if the problems are already at this stage, this doesn't promise a lot of good....
    Anyone who can help me?

    Muse will not auto update. You need to follow few step to install it and  use it. Please find below the steps.
    1. Launch ''Ädobe Creaive Cloud Application"'and Sign in with your Adobe ID and Password.
    2. Once logged in Please click on ''Apps".
    3. Look out for Muse CC (2014.1) in the list and click on install button.
    4. Once Installation is over please go to the applications folder.
    5. There you will find 2 folders for muse, we are looking for "Adobe Muse CC 2014"
    6. Go in to folder "Adobe Muse CC 2014" and launch Muse CC 2014 .
    Please let me know if you are still facing issue with launching latest version of muse.

  • Please help - Can I start my use of Adobe Muse when I choose? I have purchased a month by month

    Hi, I have purchased a month by month subscription to creative cloud to use Adobe Muse.  I only want to use it for a month though.  I have not used it yet but I need to know when my 'month' actually starts - I assumed it would start when I initiated the program and was ready to use it!?
    I have downloaded the program (Adobe Muse) and left it - assuming it would only begin my 'month use' when I started up the program (as in a 30day trial)
    My account is due to automatically renew my subscription soon (which I didn't realise either - I figured I paid once for a month use!) and I will be charged for another months use now - however, as you can understand by now, I want it to start when I want to use it! - not as soon as I have purchased a month by month subscription (hope that makes sense)
    What are peoples thoughts on this and is there anything I can do allowing me to activate 1 months use for one months paid for subscription?
    My fear is that I will have paid for one month that is neraly over and I havn't even used the program yet!?
    Please advise!

    I have checked your order registered under your email ID posted here, it has a muse single App CC purchased on September 23rd 2013,
    You have not yet activated it, the billing date is 23rd of each month(you will be charged on this date irrespective of the fcat that you are using it or not).
    Incase you do not want to use it now, please get it cancelled as it is within 30 days of purchase.
    If you plan to cancel it after 3o days of purchase, the subscription will attract cancellation fee .

  • Adobe Muse: Impossible to start the application

    Dear all,
    since two days I cannot start Adobe Muse. Right after starting the program I am asked to type in my Adobe-ID for identification purposes. I type in my Adobe-ID and the only think happening afterwards is an error "I-200" telling me that my request cannot be delt with at the moment and I should try again later. The same error I am facing now for two days. What should I do? The other applications are working properly.

    This happens when I initially open Muse CC 2014. I do not even get to choose New File or open a recent file.

    Uninstall and reinstall.
    One or more of the Widget Library files that are part of your installation of Muse have been altered or were not successfully installed. These files are not intended for end user editing. The only way to revert them to their correct form is to uninstall and reinstall Muse. If you wish to have your own custom collection of widgets, use the "Library" panel within Muse. Don't directly open/edit the widget files within the "Library" folder structure.

  • How do I start the Adobe Muse software?

    I downloaded the trial and when it finished, a window tells me that I have installed adobe muse.  When I click the Adobe Muse link, it just takes me to the Adobe web page (see image below) where I am prompted to download the trial again.  The software just reopens the window that says I've installed Adobe Muse.
    Am I missing something?

  • Adobe Muse page capacity

    HI ,
    I am working on my page which is full of pictures and different kinds od stuff. The thing is that i can not create or delete any more pages or masters.Does Adobe Muse have a max use of space or something ? Because every time I try to make a new one or delete a page the program says "not responding".
    Since i started adding here lots of pictures , it started working really slow.And now it does not even work.I tried it on the 3 computers. Still the same thing.
    Coul you help me how to fix it ? Thank You !

    This can happen when Muse is not able to use required memory of system used, as in case where other applications are also running on same time thus using computers memory or system using memory allocation for different process threads etc,
    Please try to Open only Muse and then check.
    Also if you have a large site, try to optimize the contents so that it should not use maximum space and memory to run , try to split up pages so that a single page should not load up with maximum contents.

  • Adobe Muse keeps Freezing

    I have tried to uninstall then install Adobe Muse several times thinking that this would solve the problem but every time I open Muse, it starts fine. When I try to Open a file, even creating a new one, it begins to Load then ends up Not Responding. I have tried waiting for up to 10 minutes and when it doesn't respond I Force Quit.
    I'm running a Macbook Pro, Late 2013 model and every other program is working fine but Muse.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Folks, I over the weekend I had e-mailed my latest Muse file to Marc who is a Quality Engineer on the Muse Team.  He promptly replied to me with a work-around for this blinking/freezing issue.  He must've dug through the code in my file because the one I sent him would've still been blinking & flashing and would've froze up on him right after opening my Muse file.  Anyway, he managed to get in there and the work-around solution he came up with was to:
    TURN OFF THE "THUMBNAIL" CHECKBOX,
    he says this is what seems to be causing Muse to freeze up.  So hopefully this advice will help anyone out right now who is using Muse CC 2014 until Marc and his team can produce a fix for this in a future update to the Muse CC 2014 software.
    ADOBE: Keep up the great work and please keep our Muse community informed about any known issues and work-arounds, i'll be looking for these on the "Adobe Muse CC / Top Issues" site page (ehem, might be good to post THIS work-around there).
