Adobe Muse - Contact Forms State not changing

Hey. So I've been playing around with Muse's contact form and changing the aesthetics of the forms (rounded corners, size, text color etc) up to when I came to changing the State of the contact boxes. They seem to show to work perfectly fine in the design mode when you check all rollover states, but when you preview the site in the browser or even in Muse's Preview mode, the changes don't seem to be exactly how you thought they would be. Specifically, I changed the alignment of the text in the box from left to centered, yet the normal state keeps it left (and italicized, which is default). Anyone know the fix to this?

Like I said, I made sure I changed all the states to the ones that I wanted yet the preview doesn't show the states as I wanted. My text box has left aligned text when i've made sure to center it several times.

Adobe Muse Contact Form is not sending messages

Hi, I have a website live, created with Muse CC and hosted on Adobe Business Catalyst. The domain used is from GoDaddy. I have made a contact form and have linked 3 different emails to the form to receive inputed messages. I have tried many times to send info using the contact form, testing to see if it would send to any of my emails. I have not been able to receive any messages so far and have even looked in the spam and junk folders on all 3 email accounts(yahoo, gmail, and outlook) and nothing has been received. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I would like to use this site but cannot until this is fixed.

Have you already contacted BC support for this issues, if yes then please provide me the ticket number , I will have a look.

Muse contact form is not sending emails.

Muse site contact form is not sending emails. I perform a form check using this link http:/my_site.com/scripts/form_check.php. It is giving the message that SQL configuration problem.
Please help to solve this.

I have tested the emails across various forms and it works but does not using the Muse form widget. I strongly believe this is an Adobe Muse issue and needs further support from Adobe. In the mean time I have begun using Jot Form on my sites (jotform.com)

Adobe Muse Contact form BUG!

The Phone Number field takes Alph-Numeric value where it SHOULD be only Number. When I am using the form in Mobile handset/ browser, and I click this field only NUMERIC keypad should open. But in this case Alpha Numeric Keypad opens up.
Please fix.

What exactly is not working ? As you have mentioned form submission notification is received in your email account so form process is working I believe but you want the notifications to go to another email account I think.
Have you added the email address in "Email to" field in form options ? If yes and then also you are not receiving the form , then please provide me the site url and post a screenshot or form with option box open.

If you're both using Muse then it's no different than if you were both using PS, AI, Word, etc. You need to use a mechanism to enable you to both have access to the latest version of the .muse file (i.e. Creative Cloud Files folder, Dropbox, file server location, etc.).
Changes made in the browser will sync back to the .muse file. Changes made in Muse are saved in the .muse file and if you're going to work on the site in Muse on two different machines then you need to have the up-to-date .muse file on the other machine.

Muse Contact Forms in GoDaddy

This is a serious issue. Some of my clients have hosting accounts with GoDaddy. The simple contact form DOES NOT WORK. The message is sent and then just disappears. Please someone from Adobe Muse answer why this is happening and what can be done to fix this situation. It is extremely important that these forms work correctly in third party hosting. And please don't tell me that I have to go through some complicated HTML add-on solution.
The forms are being sent to and email address with the same domain name, so that is not the issue.
This is a very frustrating situation.

Adobe Muse CC Form for third party hosting servers

I start using the new adobe muse cc forms for third party hosting servers and i have this website for one of my customers i create a CONTACT FORM on the website and when try to submit it says "server encontered an error" i chat with adobe support they send me a URL with the options to fix my problem and then when i run this URL "http://mistercoffeediaz.com/scripts/form_check.php" everything is working fine. Please any somebody help me how to work this issue around. THKS..

Spam Email via MUSE Contact Form

I've been experiencing a high volume of spam via my MUSE contact form on one of my websites. I know that the captcha tool is available but only if I use the Business Catalyst hosting. Using BC hosting is not an option for this website. Do you have any suggestions or solutions?

You can use the module {module_visitoripaddress} which displays the IP address of the visitor on pages ,with form you would need to insert an input field ( custom field )

In addition I would also suggest to enable harder captcha which will lower down the spam submission.

Hitting F11 in the form does not change the colour to blue

Hi All,
Hitting F11 in the form does not change the colour of the queryable fields to blue. Those fields remain white in color. The query functionality is working properly. The problem is only with the color not changing to blue. Is there any form property that needs to be checked? Other forms in this instance are working as expected.

F11 is not generally thought of as the key to make fields blue, is it? Are you using E-Business Suite? If so you should probably ask this question in the apps Forum: General EBS Discussion

I have tried to test the form placed in contact page and it works fine.
User information is submitted and thank you message is displayed on submission.
Please clear browser cookie and try again or check with a different browser.

Vicky Quick: The contact form for Muse sites doesn't allow my clients to reply to the person who contacted them. It puts their address in the top requiring them to cut and paste the person requesting information. How can I change the reply to field in the contact form and is that even an option? As Anshul has suggested , this needs a Customer Case Management system , where your client can reply directly to submitters email.
With BC this is possible enabling CST( Customer Service Ticketing ) , you can define role responsible as which users should receive the submission emails and then reply to customers directly from email client used.
Level responses can be used such as First level with escalation level. Enabling this , form submission will create a case which will then get converted into a web case and will be triggered into role responsible mailboxes. Site users(your client) can directly reply to the customer from any email client used using this method.
In case you are using external server , you can use any third party ticketing system and setup on the email to which notifications are received.
Currently , with Muse when form is setup with email . Submitters form submission notification is received from that email and submitters email is included in subject line , which you can use manually to send email replies.

Muse contact form on third party hosting service

I uploaded a contact form and keep getting an error message that "the server either does not have php installed or the php is not configured correctly." My host kept on insisting that the problem was with the adobe code for the
contact form, but it didn't sound right so after gaining access to the
admin panel for my site I discovered a default email account had been, I
assume, set up by the system. I started to test submitting both the muse
forms and some pdf forms that I generated using Acrobat XI Pro. The emails
were not delivered to the address coded into the forms but were being
trapped in this default email account. I tried to access the account by
clicking on the webmail button that was shown, but the browser could not
locate the webmail server. After some more digging I found an
https://mydomain:1111 address that allowed me to get in. All of my test
forms were being trapped and returned to sender with the message that I did
not exist. Obviously since the emails were generated by the php email
function they went nowhere.
At about 2am I sent my host an email with screen shots and have basically
demanded that he find a way to kill the default email account. I have not
heard back yet.
It was a lengthy forum exchange on the Muse forum in 6/13 between someone
in the UK and various forum members and finally adobe's staff that helped
to get me on the right trail. My host is using linux with apache server
software. If this is happeneing to me, it is probably happening to others
and they are being frustrated by a host who either is incapable or
unwilling to dig in to find a solution.
If you want I will let you know how this all turns out.
