Adobe Muse - Edge Reflow

Is it, or will it be, a possibility to use Edge Reflow with Adobe Muse?

Hello,
Edge Reflow has been released in an early development stage. Not all planned features have been implemented.
Till now, it does not have any option to create files that can be used with Adobe Muse.
So, currently there is no integration between Muse and Edge Reflow.
I would suggest you to post this as a feature request on our "Ideas for features in Adobe Muse" section of the forums : http://forums.adobe.com/community/muse/ideas

Adobe Muse: Edge Animate (OAM) per Klick starten möglich?

Hallo zusammen!
Ich habe mich die letzten Tage mit Adobe Muse und Edge Animate auseinandergesetzt.
Und gerade Edge Animate hat es mir total angetan auch gerade in Kombination mit Adobe Muse - welches mir auch gefällt.
Nun habe ich eine Frage:
Kann ich in Muse oder Animate irgendwie einstellen, dass die Wiedergabe erst mit einem Klick startet?
Wäre prima und geht bestimmt nur sehe ich aktuell den Wald vor lauter Bäumen nicht.

Hallo Stefux,
bei Edge Animate brauchst Du dafür kein Script. Du kannst links auf die Aktionsklammer neben ein Objekt klicken und wählst dann den click Event und rechts im Code Editor dann Abspielen aus.
Symbolaktionen lassen sich über die Wiedergabefunktion in der Zeitleiste steuern.
Wir können uns das ja Morgen im eSeminar noch mal ansehen.

Edge Reflow, ayuda

Tengo una duda, acabo de descargar reflow y quisiera saber si puedo exportar por ejemplo el efecto parallax a reflow directo de Muse.
O en su defecto, puedo hacer algo parecido al efecto parallax en edge reflow?
De verdad me gustaría saber y mejor dicho me urge saber.
Ayer redacté una pregunta de muse y no me expliqué bien eso es todo.
P.d. es que no quiero trabajar en muse porque no hace la página responsiva.

Where is Generate Edge Reflow Project on Photoshop CC

I do not find the option "File > Generate > Edge Reflow Project" on my Photoshop CC. Why is that?

Don't know if this is relevant or unknown but it still wasn't present for me until I downloaded the plug-in sepeartly as it seems to not be installed if you installed reflow first and then photoshop, in any case it does officially work now and can be installed / activated following the instructions below, cheers!

Generate Edge Reflow link not in edit menu...

After loading Photoshop CC and looking in the Edit menu the is no 'Generate Edge Rflow' link. It should be under 'save for web' according to one of your videos but its simply not there. It is Photoshop CC I'm openning and I have tried quitting and reloading.

It should be under the file menu, and you need to have a PSD open in photoshop for the menu to enable. If you see the "File > Generate > Image Assets" menu but not "Edge Reflow Project" try installing or re-installing Reflow. The Reflow installer installs a plugin into Photoshop. You can also download a standalone mac plugin installer from http://adobe.com/go/reflowpsplugin_mac

Will Adobe make a product that is Adobe Muse combined with Adobe Edge Reflow?

I love how Adobe Muse works, its simple and very easy to learn. The only issue I have with the program is, the sites that I produce from Muse is not a fully responsive site. I was wondering if Adobe will allow us to set-up our own breakpoints in the future like Adobe Edge Reflow.

They work very differently, what i would like (and this section of the forum isn't meant for feature requests)
is when you create a new muse site it asks what kind of site you want:
Responsive
static
blog
etc.... that would be nice.
or just make it responsive.
But i doubt this will happen soon

Could this be a possible update or even adobe muse having its own responsive feature plus alternate layouts.

Muse can't be 100% Responsive due to the Edge Reflow ?

Hi ,
I wanted Muse to be responsive from the first time i used it. But then i came to know about Edge Reflow and how it is used to create responsive experience and all that......
I was wondering with so many updates and changes to Muse and so so so so many requests from the users of Muse , The Muse hasn't been 100% responsive. Is it just me or is it due to the
fact that Adobe Edge Reflow also happen to be in the Adobe family and due to Reflow......Muse cannot be responsive willingly by the Team. I mean there must be different Teams for Reflow and Muse and both of them couldn't get along and all that. But come on........Everyone knows Muse is just so powerful and Easy to use and it would be great if could also create responsive experience which currently right now Reflow has been assigned to do.
If Muse is not being developed to be Responsive just due to Reflow , Then i request that , You can just end Reflow and its project. Just add all of those features in Muse. The Whole Adobe Users World wants this to happen. The Designers want this to happen. No one would care if Reflow is gone and Muse takes its responsiveness.
Everyone wants a powerful Muse.

There is no way to add animations in Reflow. If you want to add animation, then you can either use Muse which has many slider plugins to choose form or use the exported Reflow code in Brackets and add JavaScript for animating images there using various jquery plugins http://www.jssor.com/

As for Adobe Muse, we don't have immediate plans to integrate with Muse. If you'd like to see that feature or have other feature requests, please vote or add an idea.

I think one of the challenges is which audience are you designing for. For example, Muse has some nice features and pretty good integration to Business Catalyst, bot no ability to modify the code at that level, so for me (and I have spent a few days using it) its too restricted and yet, also limited as design tool.
Currenly I am tetsing both Macaw and Reflow. There is a lot to like about both products, but the question is when does it stop being a productive web design tool with ability to display responsive web designs and when does it become a coding tool.
Now, with the release of the Open Developers Platforms we are using Business Catalyst. We are also using Foundation5 framework, so for us, I cannot see us using much of the CSS or HTML generated from either of these products right now, we see that code for presentation only until such times you fully support frameworks, SASS, JQuery etc.
Right now I, and I am sure many others, need a superb and efficient web and layout tool to build fully designed prototypes and demonstrate how the overall design should look in browsers and get sign-off, Photoshop is not it, muse is not it either, but gets closer on many fronts. But Reflow and Macaw are really exciting to me and have great possibilities. But I worry, because I see lots of people wanting more code, development and integration features, (and I understand why i really do) before the regular needs of the designer have even been fully addresses.
So for me( and I know I am being really selfish), first I would like Reflow to be better software at meeting the needs for visual web designers (who also understand HTMl/CSS), re-usable assets, layout elements, master templates that can be applied to pages, (muse is good here and its sitemap pages are nice) swatches, text styles (h1, H2, P, small etc) all that I can globally update per project.
What Photoshop is for bitmap image editing, I hope Reflow needs to be for visual web designers. Efficient, fast, productive and allows us to show the customer and web development teams, how this website should look and behave.

Lightbox (jQuery Lightbox Evolution) made in Adobe Edge, doesn´t work in Adobe Muse (oam file)

Hi!, I got a problem that I can´t fix it, or I don´t know how to do it in Adobe Muse.
First I have the Jquery Lightbox Evolution ready to do it in Adobe Edge.
I could work the lightbox in Edge perfectly doing this:
1. I added the JS files of the Jquery Lightbox Evolution into EDGE :
2. I wrote this code in STAGE - COMPOSITIONREADY:

3. I wrote this CLICK code into the blue box animation;

4. Now, if I do a Preview, and if I click into the blue box animation, appears the Jquery Lightbox Evolution, like I want:
5. Perfect, I publish the project like an Animate Deployment Package (.oam) to import this into Muse.
6. Now the problems begins, I import the Edge animation into my Muse project, but when I see the preview of my page, the lightbox doesn´t work, Muse don´t recognize the lightbox CSS file because I see something like that:
The blue box animation work perfectly into Muse!, but when I click on it and when it should appear the Jquery Lightbox, happens that problem, Muse don´t recognize the CSS file and the "lightbox" appears INTO the box animation, like if I put a "_self" code.
Really I don´t know how to fix that, should import the CSS file into Muse? should write a code into Page Properties- Metadata?, write a code inserting a HTML?, change some code in Adobe Edge?

I can't download the Adobe Edge Reflow. The file's downloading is successfull but the file doesn't go to my Creative Cloud so I can't install the programme. I have already install the Photoshop CC and the Reflow Plug-in for Photoshop. May I ask help? :) T

1. I am running on Windows 8.1
2. When running the installer file from https://creative.adobe.com/products/download/reflow I get the following choice
I click "OK" which doesn't do anything for me (CC is off).
I turn CC on and run the installer again. I get the following window that within few settings disappears:
Then - just for half a second it says "Launching Creative Cloud desktop" and then it brings CC to front, and that's all.
RF still not there.
3. I spoke ta support agent on the Adobe chat on Friday. He looked into my computer for an hour. Uninstalled After Effects (after failing to update it). For some reason all apps disappeared from the list. They then reappeared after he opened PS.
This morning After Effects is still showing up in my system and is operational.
Weird.
4. At the end the agent suggested maybe Firewall is the problem here. Trying that out now.
