Hi,
Are you using any antivirus? There are many antivirus, which can block your program to communicate through the Internet, like Norton, AVG, Kesperskey, we sometime have to add the program manually to the safe program list in antivirus, so that a particular program can communicate through the Network.

  • Windows Firewall has blocked Adobe Muse

I open Adobe Muse for the first time and I'm trying to use it, after going thru some updates and questions I get Windows Firewall has blocked some features of this program. Does Adobe Muse need to have an Internet or network connection for anything at all before I publish? the Publisher is Unknown according to the alert I get from Windows. Do I need to check the box for Private networks or Public networks, I couldn't find anything related to it on Adobe Help and when I searched for Firewall on Adobe Muse Help I get results for other applications instead that I don't use like Flash Media Encoder.

Yes, you would need to tick both the checkboxes and click Allow Access after that.
    Thanks,

  • Adobe Muse - "Publish" Button Not Working

I am trying to upload a website from Adobe Muse to Business Catalyst. Whenever I click "Publish" the window pops up and just says "Signing in to adobe business catalyst..." and never actually advances past that. It just keeps loading, and never gives me the chance to actually publish my site. I've waited and waited, trying several times, hoping it would eventually work, and it never does. What can be done about this? I need to this to work, as the website needs to be published very soon, Any help would be appreciated!

The Internet Options set in Internet Explorer in some cases (like this one) control the settings for all applications on your computer, regardless of whether or not you've selected IE as your default browser.
The symptoms you describe sound like something is interferring with Muse contacting the BC servers. My first idea was related to the fact BC increased the minimum security level supported a few months back, thus my question about what levels of SSL/TLS you have enabled. Your settings are fine.
Assuming you can visit your site in the browser without any problem and can login as admin to your site (add "/admin" to the URL for your site to login to BC directly in the browser) that would make it unlikely there's a corporate/enterprise-level firewall or proxy server interferring. Though if Publish works from your home network and not from work, that would point back to a corporate firewall or proxy issue.
Do you have Norton or other anti-virus/anti-malware software installed that may be configured to prevent applications other than your browser from accessing the internet?

  • My Adobe Muse website wont publish, it's running slow and showing a server error

I've had a website in adobe muse that I've published many times before with no errors. After publishing, It tries to upload the site and loads it very slow and stops at about 69% and says the server is not connected, even though I have internet, checked the firewall and updated the cache in explorer. I was able to upload another website that I have on Muse, it loaded slowly also, stopped at 97%, I resumed it and it loaded.  What to do next?

The site is hosted through business catalyst: northstarconservancy.org. I've had no issues with this website in three years and have been able to edit and publish with no problems. It shows a server error and says to check my network connection. I noticed that adobe was working on their server the night before I had this issue, so I will probably have to call the tech support and see whats up with it, since it seems related. Thanks, Amanda

  • Adobe Muse install problem April 2014 - Errors encountered during installation (7).

ERROR: Third party payload installer InstallAdobeMuse.exe failed with exit code: 7
This is the 3rd time that I have lost my Muse installation. Yes, the app just disappeared. Uninstallers cannot find it. A search cannot locate any files. It just disappeared from my computer. When I attempt to reinstall through CC Desktop App, I get the "ERROR: Third party payload installer InstallAdobeMuse.exe failed with exit code: 7" message. Yes, I was logged in to Adobe during the attempts. I downloaded and used the Adobe cleaner to clean the app but since there is no app, there is nothing to clean. I shut down anti-virus and firewall but won't install. Installation failed at 53%, 80% and 93%. Other apps (Illustrator CC, etc.) work fine. Is this a problem with Windows installer?

Sorry about the humongous text in the previous reply, I guess this forum cannot adjust copied and pasted text. Or, I don't know where the text format options are.
Let me tell you, I am elated! I did go through the instructions in the site you linked to (http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-exit-6-exit-7.html), and did two things:
In the section named Solution 1, number 3: renamed the AdobePatchFiles to AdobePatchFiles_old. I didn't do any of the others, because I picked a likely culprit out of the 4 actual options listed, and got lucky I guess.
Next, I found a folder named Adobe Muse in my drive and just deleted the whole puppy. Btw, it was not in the place where I expected it to be (x64 > Adobe > Muse) but in another Adobe folder. I wish apps would stay put in one place and not spread themselves all over the folder structure. Could be a MS problem and not sofware developers, but I don't want to put blame where it doesn't belong.
Next, I went back to CC Desktop and clicked on Muse install and voila, it installed. Now, I just have to see if it gets corrupted again. I hope not. You may see me back in this forum
So, muchos gracias, amigo! You saved the day, no, the month, I should say.

  • Adobe Muse CC Never Downloads

Hi, I am using the latest AAM (I think). I am trying to install Adobe Muse CC, which I can see in the list of applications. I click "Install" and it says "Downloading..." but it just sits there and never downloads. Any help would be appreciated. I am on Windows 7. Thanks.

Open https://ccmdls.adobe.com and http://ccmdl.adobe.com in browser. You should get access denied page(that mean you are able to open the page but the access is denied) and If you are unable to open these url in browser then please check your network firewall or proxy server if present.
If you are able to access the urls then respond to the private message as we would like to get the logs present %temp%\AdobeDownload\DLM.log and DLM_Native.log to see what the actual problem is .

  • Within Muse is it normal to get this message? "Do you want the application "Adobe Muse CC 2014.app" to accept incoming network connections?"

Within Muse is it normal to get this message? "Do you want the application “Adobe Muse CC 2014.app” to accept incoming network connections? Clicking Deny may limit the application’s behavior. This setting can be changed in the Firewall pane of Security & Privacy preferences." I haven't got this one and I use most Adobe products. I updated Muse yesterday. Thanks!

    Hi Kay,
I am glad it worked for you. We are always here to assist you. So you really don't have to worry about the issues with Muse

  • I cannot install the trial version of Adobe Muse

I cannot install the trial version of Adobe Muse. When I am in the Apps section of Creative Cloud it just shows the thinking animated icon.

    Hi Alistair,
Can you please elaborate on the issue or help us with a screenshot?
Please check your firewall settings or try the following steps :
    Rename the opm.db file.
Close the Creative Cloud application if it's running.
    Navigate to the OOBE folder.
    Windows: [System drive]:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
    Mac OS: /User/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder
Rename the opm.db file to opm_old.db
    Launch Creative Cloud

    Akshay

  • Preview failed because Adobe Muse could not make connection over HTTP.

Preview failed because Adobe Muse could not make connection over HTTP.
The most commons cause of this is fire wall software which prevents HTTP connections,
you mai need to change Fire wall settings to allow Adobe Muse to make connections??
    Fire Wall is not problem!!
I asked this question a month ago, no one has answered.
does anyone know how to solve this problem?
I apologize for the bad English
    thanks in advance

Mac or Windows? What software do you have installed that may be interfering with an application's ability to open an internet connection (i.e. virus checker, anti-malware utility, firewall, etc.).

  • Adobe Muse Internet Launch Issue

Every time i try to launch my Adobe Muse, it says that i dont have an internet connection.... this is incorect. My internet is fine

1st, see if the Muse program users have any ideas http://forums.adobe.com/community/muse and when you ask there, you need to provide computer details (Windows or Mac, and which operating system version, to start)
2nd, what is your Firewall and Anti-Virus, and have you tried with them turned off?
3rd, you might want to have a CHAT person look into your comptuer for problems

  • Can't access Adobe Muse

I went from a 30 days trial membership to a 1 year Creative Cloud Student and Teacher Edition membership so I could acces Muse again. Trying to start up Muse (installing the program is succesfull) but it keeps on saying that it can't connect to the server. "A firewall is possibly blocking access to the server" is what the message reads. Tried everything, including turning off the firewall and antivirus software but still zero result. Removed Muse and followed the steps to remove various different affiliated files and folders, no positive result so far. Anyone familiar with this problem?

It's been a month now and I'm still unable to start-up Muse. I have deleted the old Adobe programs on my computer and installed Adobe's CC again. I'm still able to open and use every program in the creative cloud membership like before except for Adobe Muse. It still keeps on telling me it can't connect to the server. Can't access Adobe Muse

  • Adobe Muse APTEE Licensing NOT WORKING!!

    Hi,
I am an IT Professional working for a major University in Missouri. We have an Apple computer lab of 26 20" iMacs, all running Adobe Creative Cloud with an Enterprise license. This license includes Adobe Muse (with its own serial number). We use Active Directory to manage users/group policies on all computers, and manage users on our Apple computers.
According to Adobe's support site, you can create a prov.xml file using APTEE and then apply it to serialize the Muse product installation for a computer lab environment.
I can only get this to work for EXISTING users. When a NEW user logs in to his or her account, they run Muse, and it asks for a subscription, as though Muse is not serialized. According to Adobe, you click on Existing Subscription anyway, enter your Adobe ID, and then it should still open. It doesn't..........it says the "subscription does not have a license for Adobe Muse" and gives the option to BUY or QUIT.
    HELP!!!!!
