Adobe muse has disappeared

I've just gone to do some updates to my site but Muse is not showing anywhere on my PC.
I've tried to reinstall it but get this message:
"another instance of creative cloud desktop is running, to continue please quit that instance and retry"
It certainly is not running because I cannot even find it to launch it!
I'm paying for this and want to use it! Any help would be appreciated please!
I'm running a PC with Windows 8

The Creative Cloud Desktop app that's running can be reached via the cloud icon (looks like two "C's" facing each other) in the dock at the bottom of the desktop.
You may need to first Uninstall Muse for Creative Cloud Desktop to recognize Muse is not installed, since it has apparently been somehow partially deleted.

    I believe you have already updated Muse version which includes fix for this issue , if not then please update Muse to latest version.

    Hi, i'm just renew my Adobe Muse subscription (month to month) 3 hours ago and when I try to open it shows this message "Your subscription to Adobe Muse has expired".
    I check my account and the status of my subscription to Adobe is 'Activate'.
    Any and all help would be appreciated.

    Does the error message indicate an error code like I-200? If yes, please refer to the following article on dealing with this issue - http://helpx.adobe.com/muse/kb/unexpected-error-occurred-i-200.html.
    Or if you have recently renewed the subscription, I would suggest allowing it some time (24 hours approx.) for the order status to update at the backend and it should successfully re-activate.

  • Adobe Flash has disappeared after just being downloaded, now wanting to download again

    adobe flash plugin disappeared from computer. after downloading it, I try to use it and now it wants me to download it again. This is disturbing me beyond words. I am using XP and seeming to be having alot of issues since updating Java.

    I have done this 4 times this morning to no avail. I had already read all 3 help links that were suggested to me by another firefox user. I used the link posted and it told me I needed to go to Adobe site and find newer version. I downloaded that one also but it still comes up each time I try to log onto a pogo game using Flash that it is not installed and need to do it again. Yes I have 5 hairs left. Thank you so much from trying to help me it means alot.

  • Use Adobe Dialog has disappeared

    Hey Gang!
    In one of my classrooms, iMacs bootcamping Windows XP, most of the machines running Creative Suite 3 used to have the Open and Place and browse dialog box windows showing the button in the lower left that is labeled "Use Adobe Dialog".
    This week, although to my knowledge nothing has been altered, the button is gone and the open/place/browse dialog is gone back to its original Windows-flavored condition.
    Anyone else ever seen this (oh I love it) feature just up and vanish?

  • Help: Using Adobe Muse & Business Catalyst with Google Domains: URL not mapping

    Hi,
    I've had some issues publishing my site to the internet using Adobe Muse (version CC 2014) and publishing to Adobe Business Catalyst.
    I am currently using Google Domains to host my domain name (www.mattandsangeeta.com) and have tried on multiple occasions to get the domain name to correctly map  using Adobe's Business Catalyst nameservers.
    I've verified with Google Domains that their process is setup correctly to map to my site, so it indicates the issue is on how I've configured my Adobe Muse/Business Catalyst side of things.
    So far, every attempt at publishing the site via Adobe Muse has worked with its extension at http://mattandsangeeta.businesscatalyst.com/index.html, and I'm able to login into my Admin page from Adobe Muse immediately following publishing. However, when I try to login directly to the Adobe Business Catalyst page, it takes me to an admin link for www.mattandsangeeta.com that is broken.
    To summarize: My published domain isn't being mapped correctly and I hit a dead end every time I try to login into the Business Catalyst website.

    As I checked the site loads fine with domain Matt And Sangeeta . I tried to get to site manage area using Administration Login  and I see it works fine as well. I would suggest you to please try clearing browser cache and cookies and check if that helps.

  • Adobe Muse stops in publishing

    The last couple of weeks Adobe Muse has stoped at the uploading stage of about 80%.  I can after a few times get it to finish.  What is the problem?

    I am publishing to the Business Catalyst site.   NO it happens to the 2 sites I have created with Muse

    Are you publishing the site to Business Catalyst or to some other host (using built in FTP or a third party FTP client)? Is this happening with a particular Muse site?

  • Why Currently installed programs list is showing Adobe Muse twice?

    Hi Everyone,
    Can some one help me:
    Even Adobe Muse has being working on my PC since a few months ago after an updated I noticed that this program is listed twice on the "Installed Programs List" of control panel in my Windows7 x64, Sony VAIO Notebook.
    Is this normal? One of the installation shows as version 5.0.704 and the other as 5.0, however, in my start menu programs I only find one shortcut or link to start this application.
    Today even another strange thing has happened. In Creative Cloud, Adobe Muse is listed as up to date, however, when I started Adobe Muse today, it inmediately told me that there was an update available. How come ? Anyway, I guess this is an issue to start in another discussion.

    Roger6 it is likely that one of the updates applied to Muse made an additional entry which is visible in the Programs and Features Control Panel.  If you wish to uninstall Muse you will want to start with the later version and then uninstall 5.0 if it is still available.
    For your second question the Creative Cloud application refreshes the list of available updates every 12 hours.  This is likely why the update was not visible until you started the Muse application.

    Then please delete the "MBLStore" and "OOBE" folders found in

    and delete the "AdobeMuse" folder found in

    Then launch Muse. It will go through the first launch experience of asking for UI language, AdobeID, etc.

    So I am new to Muse, and my Adobe Cloud has 2 different programs from Muse... how do I know which one is the newer better version?
    One Must program (Muse CC 2014.2)  has a black background when working on it... it looks like other Adobe programs such as Photoshop.
    The other one is light color (Muse CC) very similar to the black color Muse on functions.....
    One of the difference I notice is that the light color Muse has a few widgets in the library, while the black background Muse seems to have an empty library
    So... why are there 2 different Muse programs in my Adobe Cloud?

    The latest version of Muse is 2014.2, so you need to uninstall another version of Muse manually.

    It sounds like your .muse file has an extra object in it that we need to remove for you. You should have a file in your user documents folder named 'MuseLog.txt' please send that file, and your .muse file to [email protected] so we can fix your file and send it back. Please include a link to this forum topic so we know what needs to be done. If your file is >20 MB, use a filesharing service like SendThisFile or Adobe SendNow.

    Please accept my apologies for the inconvenience so far.
    I am not sure if you already tried this, but in case not, try to update Muse via Creative cloud directly.
    Start creative cloud application manager, if you dont have it, you can download it from here,
    Adobe - Adobe Application Manager : For Windows : Adobe Application Manager
    Login using your adobe id, once you are in, switch to Apps, and you should see the Update for Muse, click Update.
