Adobe Muse keeps Freezing

I have tried to uninstall then install Adobe Muse several times thinking that this would solve the problem but every time I open Muse, it starts fine. When I try to Open a file, even creating a new one, it begins to Load then ends up Not Responding. I have tried waiting for up to 10 minutes and when it doesn't respond I Force Quit.
I'm running a Macbook Pro, Late 2013 model and every other program is working fine but Muse.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Folks, I over the weekend I had e-mailed my latest Muse file to Marc who is a Quality Engineer on the Muse Team.  He promptly replied to me with a work-around for this blinking/freezing issue.  He must've dug through the code in my file because the one I sent him would've still been blinking & flashing and would've froze up on him right after opening my Muse file.  Anyway, he managed to get in there and the work-around solution he came up with was to:
TURN OFF THE "THUMBNAIL" CHECKBOX,
he says this is what seems to be causing Muse to freeze up.  So hopefully this advice will help anyone out right now who is using Muse CC 2014 until Marc and his team can produce a fix for this in a future update to the Muse CC 2014 software.
ADOBE: Keep up the great work and please keep our Muse community informed about any known issues and work-arounds, i'll be looking for these on the "Adobe Muse CC / Top Issues" site page (ehem, might be good to post THIS work-around there).

    Adobe Muse keeps crashing every time I publish any website all of a sudden. Not just for the website I was working on but now all my websites. It was working perfectly fine and when I hit publish it just crashes. I have multiple copies and different websites and they are all crashing when I try to publish. It seems like it is not an error for just the one website I was working on but the entire program is not functioning correctly. Here's a screen shot of the error.

    Mac or Windows? What's the error that appears? If it's an Apple Crash Report, please copy/paste the first few pages of it here.
    I strongly recommend against it (for multiple reasons below) but if you uninstall Muse, then go to the Creative Cloud Desktop App, and choose "Previous Version" in the Find New Apps section there will be a dropdown arrow next to the Install button. That dropdown will list all versions of Muse.
    If you've saved over top your existing file using the current version, reverting Muse won't work, since older versions cannot open files saved from newer versions. If you've don't significant work in the current version, that will be lost because you'll have to go back to the file as last saved using the prior version of Muse. Finally, there's a significant probability that error/crash is related to content in the file, network configuration, or other outside forces and if that's the case reverting won't avoid the error/crash.
    If you share more info about what error you're encountering, I expect we can determine a workaround/solution.

    Hi,
    I'm doing another website project, and after a while my adobe muse seems not responding when i clicked the preview button, or when I try to publish it to BC domain. My muse file is 379 MB. Is it because it's too big? Thank you for your help and time.

    When I open a particular Muse file, it's just stuck. Muse stops responding. So i decided I wait till it starts working again.
    After exactly 16mins, it opened, but any action I do, it's stuck again.
    I thought it was because it had 30+ subpages But it works perfectly fine on my friend's mac (same configuration as mine).
    It is really weird. And it was working fine a day ago.
    Any help would be appreciated.

  • My adobe reader 10.1.12 keeps freezing - running osx 10.9.5- help

    Adobe Reader keeps freezing and I have to force the application to quit.

    Went back to HP.com and this time was able to see and download latest driver and firmware for HP LaserJet P3005dn  Installation of new firmware was done thru the HP Printer Utility application on my iMac OS 10.7.5
    I was able to choose my printer and then upload the firmware file from the iMac to the printer. This has completely solved the problem!

  • Starting adobe muse, but can't

    Hi all,
    I have downloaded trial version of Adobe Muse and just wanted to work along with Katie's tutorial.
    First problem: My Adobe Muse keeps telling me there is a new update which I already installed. I know there is a topic about this with an explanations, but they do not work. After that, I downloaded the 'Start Muse First Site' map and clicked on 'CC Getting Started Katies', but this doesn't do anything. It only opens Muse, but it does not install any library items.. I'm afraid I can't go on doing this tutorial without these items. And if the problems are already at this stage, this doesn't promise a lot of good....
    Anyone who can help me?

    Muse will not auto update. You need to follow few step to install it and  use it. Please find below the steps.
    1. Launch ''Ädobe Creaive Cloud Application"'and Sign in with your Adobe ID and Password.
    2. Once logged in Please click on ''Apps".
    3. Look out for Muse CC (2014.1) in the list and click on install button.
    4. Once Installation is over please go to the applications folder.
    5. There you will find 2 folders for muse, we are looking for "Adobe Muse CC 2014"
    6. Go in to folder "Adobe Muse CC 2014" and launch Muse CC 2014 .
    Please let me know if you are still facing issue with launching latest version of muse.

  • Save Failure in Adobe Muse

    Good morning,
    Everytime I try to save my site file it comes up with an error. It fails to save, crashes the program and closes it down.
    This is starting to slow productivity down now and along with this, Adobe Muse keeps failing to upload my site to my temporary domain. The photos in the site are not over 20mb, they are more like 2-3mb and it happens every single time.
    Please could you help me, as it is really starting to bug me.

    I keep getting the Error "Adobe Muse has encountered an error and will now exit. Please report the last few actions you took leading up to this error to the Adobe Muse CC team. UIDs With Multiple Owners: ImageFrame owned by PagePageItem and BaseLink". I get this when I try and save and I am not sure what is causing it or, since i made several changes to the site, which actions it would have been. I am using the latest updated version of Muse. the 2014.3  I was able to publish site with changes but it did not save, so I have a web version different then what is saved. My published site is the most recent one but the saved version is one without latest changes. When I tried to merge it started updating the Assets and then showed that Error message and shutdown.

    I believe you have already updated Muse version which includes fix for this issue , if not then please update Muse to latest version.

  • Adobe Muse CC 2014 keeps crashing on launch

    My version of Adobe Muse CC 2014 keeps crashing on launch. I have tried to reinstall it a few times but this keeps happening.
    When I open a project, it works untill I close down the project, I get the following message:
    Can someone please help me with this issue? I've searched for a solution on the forums and on the internet, but I didn't find a useful solution.

    Very strange. Let's rename the Recovery folder and see if that avoids this error. The "Recovery" folder is in:
    Mac: "~/Library/Preferences/com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2014.1/Local Store" (copy and paste into the Go > Go To Folder dialog in the Finder)
    Windows: "%appdata%/com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2014.1/Local Store" (copy and paste into a file explorer window)
    In both cases above, include everything between the quotes (including the tilde ~ on the Mac and the percent symbols % on Windows) in the copy/paste, but not the quotes themselves.
    Rename the Recovery folder and relaunch Muse. Does that avoid the error? If so, I'd be grateful if you'd send us the renamed Recovery folder at muse-support along with a link to this thread for context.
    If not, let's go up two levels in the folder structure and rename the entire "com.adobe.AdobeMuseCC.2014.1" folder. Doing that will cause Muse to generate a new one from scratch. Does that avoid the error? If so, I'd like to get a copy of the renamed folder.
    If not, we'll have to explore some other options.

  • Updated to Adobe Muse CC 2014, 2 days ago and I CANT even open it! It keeps on displaying the same ASSERTION FAILED IN FILE error.

    I love muse and have been using for years now. A couple of days ago I was really exited that they had a new version the  ADOBE MUSE CC 2014 so I updated it in my laptop. Now it wont even open. I had spent the last 3 days uninstalling and reinstalling MUSE CC 2014 thinking that it would help. But nothing works. I keep on having the same ASSERTION FAILED IN FILE error. At this point I am pretty much desperate and do not know really what to do and to make matters worse I have freelance work that needs to be done and update. If anyone can help I would really appreciated it.
    In addition, if anyone from the MUSE CC SUPPORT TEAM is reading this, please work on making access to you guys easier. I honestly could not find a way to talk to anyone from the ADOBE MUSE CC support team about this problem.

    I had the same problem but good news is I found the reason of problem and solution;
    I was using Windows 7 in English with timezone setting for Turkey. Adobe Muse was in English and had same problem, to solve this issue I even installed new Windows but it happened again.
    Solution is easy, I just changed Muse language settings from English to Turkish and so far so good i never had any crash or problem.

    Migration should never be done with any Adobe program.
    If you have done Migration, you have to UNINSTALL first (if even possible) and then download Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool and run that also. When this is done, restart your computer and install the programs from an original Adobe Installer.
    Other question is, if your OS is supporting that version. You can try it, it is not officially supported, but it might work.
    But CC will work, upgrade to CC2014 (without additional cost), use that as it is better anyway.

  • ADOBE AUDITION Download Assistant Keeps Freezing. Can't click anything.

    I'm trying to download a trial of adobe audition cs6. The "download assistant" is not being of much assistance. It keeps freezing, and I cannot click through to anything. I created an "adobe account", it says, "hello, mackinley" at the top and "sign in with your adobe ID to continue" at the bottom. But clicking either of these does nothing.

    Are you utilizing a software firewall which might be preventing the Adobe Download Assistant from contacting the Internet?

  • My mouse freezes in adobe muse can not move objects

    the problem is that my mouse after a few minutes it freezes and will not let me move objects.
    this happens with adobe muse 2014.2
    and the worst is that my file can not be opened with earlier versions ( help)

    I think this is a bug in the new update. I have made numerous sites since and all of them have gotten the horiztonal scroll. I mentioned it in the bug section and had a staff member help me with my first issue but have not heard anything else since.
    This is a pretty serious bug, you can not launch a website with a horizontal scroll like this.
    on another note, I really like the look of your site, very slick so far!
