Adobe Muse slideshow widget not working on Ipad

The Muse slideshow widget i'm using is working fine in desktop version (on my Imac and Macbook Pro Retina), but the targets (buttons) are not working when i open the website in my Safari Ipad. When i open in Ipad Chrome, it's working fine.

To answer your first question, a widget is essentially a app extension. Try the stock market app below, once you download it you'll be able to add a stock market widget to Notification Center. If the link below doesn't work go to the App Store and enter Stocks Widget by Peeksoft in the search field.

Adobe Muse APTEE Licensing NOT WORKING!!

I am an IT Professional working for a major University in Missouri. We have an Apple computer lab of 26 20" iMacs, all running Adobe Creative Cloud with an Enterprise license. This license includes Adobe Muse (with its own serial number). We use Active Directory to manage users/group policies on all computers, and manage users on our Apple computers.
According to Adobe's support site, you can create a prov.xml file using APTEE and then apply it to serialize the Muse product installation for a computer lab environment.
I can only get this to work for EXISTING users. When a NEW user logs in to his or her account, they run Muse, and it asks for a subscription, as though Muse is not serialized. According to Adobe, you click on Existing Subscription anyway, enter your Adobe ID, and then it should still open. It doesn't..........it says the "subscription does not have a license for Adobe Muse" and gives the option to BUY or QUIT.

Adobe Muse - "Publish" Button Not Working

I am trying to upload a website from Adobe Muse to Business Catalyst. Whenever I click "Publish" the window pops up and just says "Signing in to adobe business catalyst..." and never actually advances past that. It just keeps loading, and never gives me the chance to actually publish my site. I've waited and waited, trying several times, hoping it would eventually work, and it never does. What can be done about this? I need to this to work, as the website needs to be published very soon, Any help would be appreciated!

The Internet Options set in Internet Explorer in some cases (like this one) control the settings for all applications on your computer, regardless of whether or not you've selected IE as your default browser.
The symptoms you describe sound like something is interferring with Muse contacting the BC servers. My first idea was related to the fact BC increased the minimum security level supported a few months back, thus my question about what levels of SSL/TLS you have enabled. Your settings are fine.
Assuming you can visit your site in the browser without any problem and can login as admin to your site (add "/admin" to the URL for your site to login to BC directly in the browser) that would make it unlikely there's a corporate/enterprise-level firewall or proxy server interferring. Though if Publish works from your home network and not from work, that would point back to a corporate firewall or proxy issue.
Do you have Norton or other anti-virus/anti-malware software installed that may be configured to prevent applications other than your browser from accessing the internet?

Adobe muse websites will not work

For some reason adobe muse websites published to osx server do not work, I am wondering if anyone else has had any trouble.

Acrobat has connected itself to some of my downloads, and will not allow me to open them, because it says it is has stoped working.

Also are the pdf files password protected?

Muse social widgets not working

Hi, trying to set up a simple google map in a muse website. Following tutorials (Lynda.com) I DRAGGED THE WIGET INTO THE PAGE AND ENTERED THE URL OF THE BUSINESS INVOLVED. i keep getting a dialog saying cannot create thumbnail. I can access the map required and copy the full URL and the short url, but neither works. I hope I am not wasting some £500.00 GPB ON ADOBE PRODUCTS

Hi Good People, sorry still no success! Google Maps Widget is not functioning correctly in Muae 2014! I have tried pasting in the long URL and Google's short address and the postal address into the widget field. It spins for a while the freezes on the Adobe default with a warning "!" I have tried putting in my own residence address and still no map is generated. I can only think it is a fault with the maps widget. Any suggestions will be appreciated, and thank you for your attempts to find a solution.

Adobe Muse export html not working in FTP upload

So I just finished creating this website through Muse.
The host & domain are from Gandi.net, who only accept sftp.
I exported the website, logged in using Filezilla, and then transfered all the necessary files over to the host.
The upload went fine, the problem is that when I went to the domain afterwards (thedapifer.com) nothing seems to have changed.
After refreshing a few times, and waiting to see if the site would eventually load, I now see that there is a problem.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried to publish the site using Muse yet, using FIle-> upload to FTP host? Also, could you confirm if the ftp settings provided by your hosting provider are correct?

Google Voice Widget Not Working in Safari 5.1 which is Adobe flash with wmode transparent set. For that matter all flash text fields in Safari 5.1 are not working accross the web when wmode is set to transparent. This is a Safari bug! Other browsers work fine.
Well after much research Adobe flash text field with wmode transparent set is not working in Safari 5.1 when any flash object has the wmode set to "transparent", or "opaque". The problem is many site must layer flash objects with html so the wmode transparent must be used.
Affecting sites like BEST BUY, WALMART, CVS, STAPLES, Chechout their flash based weekly ads and find one that you need to update the quantity in the flash pop-up and the text field with keyboard strokes will not work. Flash text fields were all working fine until several month ago when Safari rolled out 5.1 working for Google Voice Flash based widget which uses the wmode transparent. HELP!

Accordion or Tabbed panel should to it, with click and open container.

Adobe Muse Gallery Widgets

Hi Everyone
I am not able to figure out how to use the widgets which I downloaded from the Adobe Muse Website ( Widget Gallery). It seems that they cannot be dragged and dropped into the site I am creating. I finally doubled clicked on one of them and it opened in Muse, only to realize it opens as a new site. The widget does not appear on the page I am working on. Can anyone help me with this? Perhaps this has already been aswered, if so can you provide any links. Am I supposed to copy and paste the widget to the page I am working on, and then resize? I thought that the widgets should open on the page you are working on.

How do I set the default Hero image in a Muse slideshow widget when using Free Form Thumbnails?

I am trying to find out how to set the default Hero image when using a Muse slideshow widget and in the Layout section I have the "Free Form Thumbnails"
box checked.
In other words, when the page loads I want to define which image displays as the first Hero image.
If I do not select the "Free Form Thumbnails" option, the top left Thumbnail image always displays first. This is fine.
But when I select the Free Form Thumbnails" checkbox I don't know how to define which image shows first as the Hero image.

Okay… I think I've worked out how to do it!
[1] First have the "Free Form Thumbnails" box UNCHECKED.
[2] Organize the Thumbnails and place the image that you want to be the first Hero image when the page loads in the top left corner of the Thumbnails group.
[3] When you "Preview Site In Browser" the Thumbnail image in the top left corner will always display as the first Hero image.
[4] If you want "Free Form Thumbnails" go ahead now and SELECT that checkbox.
[5] Whichever image was in the top left of the Thumbnail group before you checked "Free Form Thumbnails" will still show up as the first Hero image when the page loads, regardless of where that thumbnail image is located within the Thumbnail images group.

Hi,
The sequence of operation you are doing to set the home page for public users is correct. You are getting the login screen as the "custom page group" selected as "home page" has not been granted to public.
Also, while logging-out, it is normal behaviour to get the screen where it shows the list of partner applications from where user has been logged-out. When you click on "Return" button, you will get to the "home page" set above.

How do I delete a Muse slideshow widget from my layout?

I eventually figured it out: select the widget/click on edit in the toolbar/click on "clear." Selecting the widget and pressing the delete key, which was the first thing I tried, did not work for me.

How can I make the Adobe Muse slideshow stop on mouseover?

Using the Adobe Muse slideshow opens many possibilities and control elements. However, I have received many feedback inquiries from my customer, complaining they cannot stop the slideshow on mouse over. This can be quit a nuisance as someone is enjoying a photo with no means to stop it from fading or sliding to the next one (except when using thumbnails, clicking on those. Which is not always intuitive). Is there a way to tell the Muse slideshow widget to stop the slide when viewers mouse over the image and continue sliding / fading when viewers hoover of the image?

You can't. The best you can do is click to stop it, but then the only way of starting it again is to reload the page. I believe Adobe are looking into ways of improving this in future releases. There are various workarounds: have a longer delay between slides, use a manual-only slideshow with back or next buttons (or arrows) or a combination of what you have already with these to make the best out of an imperfect situation.
It is not possible either to have a slideshow stop at the final image which is limiting, and another point that needs addressing. Sorry; this is probably not the answer you were looking for but hope you can now make some decisions/progress.

Flash Slideshows Suddenly not working

My site is "www.neilmarksphotography.com"
I have 5 pages leading off "GALLERY" menu option, which all contain flash slideshows created in Lightroom. They have all been working fine, but today I slightly changed the content of the slideshows, and now they are not working - they just show the "GET ADOBE FLASH PLAYER" icon. The home page (index.html) is working fine - I have not changed the code there at all.
I have tried to compare the code in the changed gallery pages with the home page, but cannot see what I have done to stop all the galleries from working properly. GALLERY pages are previewing fine locally off the hard drive. It's only on the live page that I am getting the problem
Any suggestions?

It may be that your pages are cached in your browser, (viewing locally, in browser), or that the Google analytics code is being ignored by dreamweaver, (if working in dreamweaver), as this requires a live page /server.
