Adobe Muse: Slideshows and submenus don't appear when previewed or exported
Hi! I've just put together a site in the latest version of Adobe Muse. Everything seems fine when I preview within Muse but when I preview in Firefox or export to Business Catalyst, none of the slideshows appear, (where the pics are is just blank), and the submenus don't appear either. Any ideas?
Hi! It's OK I've solved the problem! At the cost of looking like a complete idiot I'm going to share this because others might be in the same situation. I remembered that a couple of weeks ago I turned off java script in all my browsers because I had a potential security risk (which I didn't), and was advised to do so. Now, I've turned Javascript back on, everything is working perfectly! Unfortunately this has taken me about 6 hours to work out! On the plus side at least now I know what my site will look like if someone is viewing it with javascript turned off! I've used Macs professionally for about 20 years so you can imagine how stupid I'm feeling right now! Thanks for getting back to me though!

The points and lines delineating the effects' range are not visible when I turn on the graduated filter in LR 5.4. The effect works but without the points and lines I am pretty much guessing where the effects' borders are situated. It worked fine before the 5.4 update. I have no idea if it's related.

Adobe Muse SlideShow Options and Capabilities
Hey there people. I know that in the Adobe Muse slideshow you have the options to use fade, and vertical transitions, etc. I'm trying to make a few pictures in my slideshow go vertical and a few pictures go horizontal, and maybe a few pictures fade during its transition. (All in the same Slideshow) Is this possible?
Right now there is only the three options. I am sure it would be easy enough for the dev team to add a random setting. I suggest you add it to the Muse ideas forum.

Is it possible to have two versions of Muse on one Machine? WhenI open Muse from my program menu in WIndows 7 it comes up the way I am used to. I did an upgrade a week or so ago and now I have an Adobe Muse CC 2014 on my desktop. WhenI open the application that way the GUI interface looksw totally different, more like Illustrator. What is that all about?
Since posting the above, I have resolved a sensible work-around in regard to ebookstores which prefer us to have separate accounts for our separate Adobe IDs.
However, I really would appreciate it if anyone here can confirm that a DRM controlled book does actually become associated with a particular Adobe ID account at the time of first download to Digital Editions on that PC/device.
Two large book stores have said using my account with them to download books to our two separate Adobe IDs is OK, but I don't want to find my husband is unable to open his downloaded books.

How can I make the Adobe Muse slideshow stop on mouseover?
Using the Adobe Muse slideshow opens many possibilities and control elements. However, I have received many feedback inquiries from my customer, complaining they cannot stop the slideshow on mouse over. This can be quit a nuisance as someone is enjoying a photo with no means to stop it from fading or sliding to the next one (except when using thumbnails, clicking on those. Which is not always intuitive). Is there a way to tell the Muse slideshow widget to stop the slide when viewers mouse over the image and continue sliding / fading when viewers hoover of the image?
Thanks, any help appreciated!You can't. The best you can do is click to stop it, but then the only way of starting it again is to reload the page. I believe Adobe are looking into ways of improving this in future releases. There are various workarounds: have a longer delay between slides, use a manual-only slideshow with back or next buttons (or arrows) or a combination of what you have already with these to make the best out of an imperfect situation.
It is not possible either to have a slideshow stop at the final image which is limiting, and another point that needs addressing. Sorry; this is probably not the answer you were looking for but hope you can now make some decisions/progress. -

What? I'm really confused by your question. Is it even about Web Dynpro ABAP? You are talking about SAPGUI vs. Webgui. What does that have to do with Web Dynpro ABAP? -
Has anyone come up with a solution for the consistent problem between Adobe Muse forms and GoDaddy hosting? I just spent an hour with GoDaddy and they said everything on their end was working. It was a script problem. I can't seem to get any answers from either Adobe or GoDaddy.
From your description is seems clear the issue is not with the Muse generated scripts. Those are identical regardless of what e-mail address you're sending to. If sending to your personal e-mail address works, but sending to an address on the same domain as the site does not, that most likely indicates one of two things: 1) The e-mail address is not setup correctly. (I assume that's not the case and you can send to the address from other sources without issue?) 2) Or, something on the server is configured to block e-mail from being sent to addresses on the domain of the site. Some hosting providers do this by default.
I expect this case is the latter and you have yet to reach a tech at GoDaddy who's familiar with this aspect of their e-mail processing via PHP sendMail.
The lack of SQL is a non-issue. SQL is not required for the correct processing of your form. When available SQL is used to limit the number of form submissions that will be accepted from a single IP address (site visitor) in a short amount of time. This "throttling" is performed to limit submissions from spammer's robots. Your form will work fine regardless of whether SQL is available. If you do receive spam from your form, adding a CAPTCHA is more effective at reducing or completely eliminating spam. Another less cumbersome method for site visitor's is simply to add a required checkbox will a label of something like "I'm a human" since spammer's robots will frequently not figure out they need to check the checkbox in order to get the form to submit.
There's nothing Muse can do to avoid a restriction on the server that prevents specific e-mail addresses from being sent to, short of providing or connecting to a completely different e-mail processing service than what's provided with your hosting. We may provide that option at some point in the future (for other reasons), but that's not an option right now.
If GoDaddy's support continues to point at Muse when told that sending to e-mail addresses not on the site's domain works fine and sending to addresses on the site's domain does not, and also told there's absolutely no difference in the PHP code for the two cases, then send me an e-mail and we'll talk to GoDaddy together. I recommend to check www.icloud.com, are your contacts shown there?
If not -> Something might be not set up correctly on you iOS devices.
Also.. Simple but maybe occuring: Contacts -> Preferences -> Accounts -> iCloud is enabled? (Should be by default if you have iCloud setup via the system preferences, but you never know..) -
Hi, I have recently updated my OS X to Maverick. when I did, my mail programme (Mail) will not open - for me only. There are 4 other users of the iMac, and they don't appear to have any problems.
First, Safe Boot , (holding Shift key down at bootup), use Disk Utility from there to Repair Permissions, test if things work OK in Safe Mode.
Then move these files to the Desktop for now...

/Users/YourUserName/Library/Preferences/com.apple.systempreferences.plist

Texts in pdf form don't appear when viewing in Acrobat nor in Reader.
Texts in pdf form don't appear when viewing in Acrobat nor in Reader nor when printed after the form has been filled. But the texts appear when one clicks inside the field. What is the solution to be able to print and view all of the texts in all of the fields that have been typed.
More than likely caused by someone filling out the form with Mac Preview.

This sounds like it is about Window positions.
iChat has Default places for Incoming Invites.
Video is always top Center of your Screen
Audio and Text chats are Upper right with the Audio slightly lower than Text Chats.
Secondary invites are sort of Stacked like when you open multiple files from the same App.
Your outgoing Windows are "Remembered" as to where the last one was when you used it.
This can be an issue if you use your Mac with a second display and turn Off Mirroring.
You windows can get "left" on the other screen.
Go to System Preferences > Displays and turn On Mirroring and the windows should come back to one Screen/display.
If this does not help go to your Home Folder/Library/Preferences and delete (Drag to Trash) com.apple.ichat.plist and restart iChat.
Unfortunately you will need to reset any iChat Preferences you have changed from defaults.

I created mega menu in adobe muse ( master page ) but the thing is when I preview that menu in other pages contents I already had created will overlap the menu. Is there any options that would fix that problem up. I'd like to have the menu overlap the contents. That does not happen on master page ( master page looks good ) Thank you very much.
Place the menu on its own layer above the rest of the page content.

Does everything appear if you just click anywhere on the Desktop? This happens at random to me and it's a known bug (at least in 10.6.)

Safari status bar disappears. I have tried clicking on show status bar, under the View tab and it will only appear when I move the cursor to the top of the screen. I can not minimize the open page, only full screen or close the browser. Any idea how the rectify this issue?
One enters and exits full-screen with control+command+F keys. This is on the View menu in Safari. Optionally, the green traffic light in your browser title bar, if you roll over it, has the full-screen control it it. While in full-screen mode with Safari, moving your mouse pointer virtually up, and off-screen reveals the Safari title bar again, and you can click the green traffic light to exit full-screen mode.
You can hide/show the status bar by simply typing command+/. This too, is on the Safari View menu. and in 10.10.1 — it works reliably for me.
