Adobe Muse Type Error: #1009

I have just bought single app subscription - Adobe Muse. But during use I get constantly this error. Man what is going on? Pretty bad that I have paid for the app and now can't use it :/

Hi Robos,
Can you please send your .muse file to [email protected], along with a link to this thread? If your file is too big for email (larger than 20mb) you can use a service like Adobe SendNow or SendThisFile. Please also send the MuseLog.txt file that should be in your documents folder.

Aish

  • Adobe Muse CC Error #1009

    A little bit about how the error started.  I was making edits to our company intranet.  I usually save the file every 15-20 minutes with a quick ctrl+s out of  habit.  A few edits later I went to undo, a save prompt came up again, I figured this was adobe going backwards and asking me if I want to save. I clicked cancel thinking I already saved, no need although I'm not sure that should be tracked in the hostory of steps within the program.  Sure enough clicking on any element in adobe must now results in the following error.
    Is there a way to repair this file? Recreating the company intranet would obviously be a major undertaking.
    Please let me know if there is anything else I can do to fix this.

    Sorry for the delay. Did you receive an auto-reply from [email protected]? I've searched extensively but don't find any e-mail or file from you. If you send your file again, directly to me at [email protected], I'll take a look at it today and get back to you. Please include a link to this thread for context. If the file is larger than 20Mb, you'll need to use a service such as Dropbox, Adobe SendNow, WeTransfer, etc. Thanks.

  • Type Error #1009

    After updating Muse, I get the message "type error #1009" instantly, every time I try to open the application. I know it's not my .muse file, because the file runs fine on another machine with Muse. The problem wasn't caused by running the application on too many machines, it started happening while it was only installed on one machine. How do I fix this problem?

    Hello,
    Please refer to the forum post : http://forums.adobe.com/message/4919587#4919587
    Please follow the steps mentioned by Adobelance and let us  know if it helps.

  • Media Error  Type Error 1009

    When trying to play a video on a TV stations website I get a gray box that states "Media Error  Type Error 1009". The advertisement that precedes the news clip plays fine but once it's over the audio is fine but the video screen is black. No websites showed up. What can I do?

    This is a bug in the code running on the news site.  The content provider will need to fix this on their end.
    Thanks!

    As far as the 1034 error goes, it is indicating that somewhere in your codse you are trying to treat a button symbol as if it is a movieclip symbol.  You are likely the only one who is going to be able to find where.  It is possible that the recommendation below might help find which lines it is happening for.
    The 1009 error indicates that one of the objects being targeted by your code is out of scope.  This could mean that the object....
    - is declared but not instantiated
    - doesn't have an instance name (or the instance name is mispelled)
    - does not exist in the frame where that code is trying to talk to it
    - is animated into place but is not assigned instance names in every keyframe for it
    - is one of two or more consecutive keyframes of the same objects with no name assigned in the preceding frame(s).
    If you go into your Publish Settings Flash section and select the option to Permit debugging, your error message should have a line number following the frame number which will help you isolate which object is involved.

  • Adobe Muse Download error A12E1

    I am trying to download adobe muse.  I am receiving error code A12E1.  Any ideas?

    This appears to be a CC app related error rather than Muse error.

  • Beginner: type error #1009 Please Help!

    I'm creating my first flash site in CS4 and I'm getting this message in the output window when I test my movie:
    TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.
    at Portfolio_fla::MainTimeline/frame273()
    Portfolio.fla is the name of my flash file. Anyone know what this means?
    I have only very simple code at frame 273:
    stop();
    bHome.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, goHome);
    function goHome(evt:Event) {
    this.gotoAndPlay("home");
    bPortfolio.addEventListener(MouseEvent.CLICK, goPortfolio);
    function goPortfolio(evt:Event) {
    this.gotoAndStop("confluence");
    That's it. The bHome button works if I just have that code by itself, but when i add the bPortfolio code, I get the #1009 error when I test the movie.
    Thanks in advance for any help! I'm so frustrated and lost.

    Just so you have an idea of what the 1009 error represents... the 1009 error indicates that one of the objects being targeted by your code is out of scope.
    This could mean that the object....
    - is not in the display list
    - doesn't have an instance name (or the instance name is mispelled)
    - does not exist in the frame where that code is trying to talk to it
    - is animated into place but is not assigned instance names in every keyframe for it
    - is one of two or more consecutive keyframes of the same objects with different names assigned.
    If you go into your Publish Settings Flash section and select the option to Permit debugging, your error message should have a line number following the frame number which will help you isolate which object is involved.

  • Adobe Muse 3123 Error & Terminates

    When i try and open my website that i have been working on its comes up with an error box saying  -
    Muse has encounted an unexpected error and has to be terminated. SQL error: error 3123. Database image disk is malformed: details operation ececute.
    Please help as i am going live with my website tomorrow and cant enter it,

    I'm very sorry to hear about the 3123 error. This error is a very low level error from the underlying database Muse uses. It typically indicates the file has been corrupted by something outside of Muse (i.e. failed file transfer, failed file synchronization, file on media that was removed without being ejected, etc.), but it may indicate a bug in Muse.
    It would be helpful if you could send us the .muse file at [email protected] along with a link to this thread. (If the file is larger than 20Mb you can use a service like Adobe SendNow, SendThisFile or WeTransfer.)
    It's very rare that a file that reports this error can be repaired, but if possible we'll repair the file. Even if it's not possible, examining the file may help us determine the underlying cause of the corruption.
    Was the file stored in a synchronized folder (i.e. Dropbox, Creative Cloud Connection, other) or on a server?

  • I continually get an Adobe Flash Player error #1009.

    If some out there can assist me with this issue I would really appreciate it.  I have spent hours with HP IT and they tell me that the issue is resolved, but an hour later it is back.  The error message states "Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.
