There is a new version of Muse coming out June 17. If you launch your copy of Muse after June 17, it should update to Muse CC automatically.

Is it possible to have two versions of Muse on one Machine? WhenI open Muse from my program menu in WIndows 7 it comes up the way I am used to. I did an upgrade a week or so ago and now I have an Adobe Muse CC 2014 on my desktop. WhenI open the application that way the GUI interface looksw totally different, more like Illustrator. What is that all about?
Since posting the above, I have resolved a sensible work-around in regard to ebookstores which prefer us to have separate accounts for our separate Adobe IDs.
However, I really would appreciate it if anyone here can confirm that a DRM controlled book does actually become associated with a particular Adobe ID account at the time of first download to Digital Editions on that PC/device.
Two large book stores have said using my account with them to download books to our two separate Adobe IDs is OK, but I don't want to find my husband is unable to open his downloaded books.

Upgrading from I web to Adobe Muse?
We will all have to switch sooner or late to some other software,but to what???
Adobe Muse does not require coding and seems sophisticated.
I have been spoiled by I web in not knowing code,I wonder if Muse will be faster ,more responsive and allow for more subtle web design.
I understand WORD PRESS+ Duprel have cleaner HTML and can be learned with a bit of effort.
What would be the methodology,take a bit of HTML<JAVA+CSS lessons and jump into a more advanced software or ....go to Muse which seems to require no coding???
I have mastered I web and think I would like a more pro software that does not require a very steep learning curve.
I hear Quark Express 9.2 does not need coding and wORDPRESS has a little.
What would be the course of action in upgrading out of IWEB??I'm in a similar quandry myself... the whole web design set up is changing, from software like Dreamweaver to on line tools like Weebly and Muse. I've used Dreamweaver (still on CS4) for my site, but with all the rapid changes in cell phones, e commerce, ipads and who knows what's next, it's taking far too much time to keep up. Instead of upgrading to CS6 in Dreamweaver I'm looking at Weebly, which looks and feels very user friendly with lots of neat features. The only drawback for me, since my email is tied to my domain, is that weebly will force me to manage emails via Google Apps. My android phone required a gmail email, and it soon filled up with spam, although I never used the account. I'd rather have my emails on a hosted account like Omnis Network, where I have better control.
I've tried Wordpress, but got tired of the incredible amount of spam - but if you don't allow comments on your blog posts it's pretty easy to use. I've used Blogger for many years, it would be my recommendation for a small site. It's stable and has really good spam control. Now the basic blogger layout comes with ten pages, so a good solution if your site is small. Very easy to use and maintain. And it's free. Haven't checked out Google sites, my reservation with Google is they are tending toward Facebooky behavior, changing permissions and settings with each upgrade (experience from Picasa)
Looking at Adobe Muse/Business Catalyst it's pricey, like all Adobe solutions. I suspect you'll get 99% of what you'd need from Weebly at a far lesser cost. Since a Weebly account is online and only accessible via login, taking backups by downloading your site to your hard drive on a regular basis would be highly recommended. In case there is a problem with your account.
Learning some basic html and css is a good idea, that way you can make changes to the code yourself. Your local library may have some good reference books.... or ... When I look for specific solutions I just google what I'm trying to do. More often than not, someone has taken the time to post what I need on the net.

Upgrade to CC from CS5 Suite--also have Adobe Muse subscription and web hosting
I have the complete Adobe CS5 suite, and I also have an Adobe Muse subscription ($14.99 a month for that). The Muse subscription ends in November.
If I upgrade to CC at the discounted rate that is valid until 7/31/2013, will my $14.99 a month bill for Adobe Muse automatically be stopped--as the CC membership includes Adobe Muse and the Business Catalyst web site hosting (as far as I can tell)?

How do I upgrade Adobe Muse 2013 to 2014?
I have the monthly agreement for Adobe Muse 2013 and want to upgrade to 2014, do I have to cancel my existing subscription and purchase the new one or is there a way to upgrade?

You need not cancel the existing subscription. Simply open creative cloud manager and install Muse CC 2014. If CC manager is not installed, you can install it from https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud

and delete the "AdobeMuse" folder found in

Then launch Muse. It will go through the first launch experience of asking for UI language, AdobeID, etc.

Problems with creating a website adobe muse
I have a big problem with adobe muse'm creating a website and goes all bn put the background color of the color and everything goes normal entries placed on the footer and header and there is when the problem occurs I have to fight for I look perfect and I placed a small scroll the page to move to the sides and I do not want that to happen and when I try to place the sidebar to place some comments widget facebook twitter etc etc .... achievement do not match the view of the site design looks quite normal but when I see in the browser everything looks weird and does not match the preview adobe muse alike which are hard to understand, but here are two videos in which I teach the problem.

I'm having no end of problems with Adobe Muse since upgrading. The latest happens whenever I try to save any changes to a muse site. Using either 'save' or 'save as' I get a window pop up stating "An error has Occurred" UID: U3953 and then another window opens stating: "3125: Save as failed. 3125: Save failed. SQL ErrorEventType...." When I click ok Muse closes. It does save the file but I then have to reopen Muse which is becoming very irritating.
Also, each time I open muse it tells me a later version is available. I clicked install now, CC opened and completed the download. Mac restarted. Still shows the window stating that a later version is available while CC is stating that it's up to date.
It's a bit of a shambles quite frankly and very irritating especially given the cost!
Don't suppose anyone has any clues or is this a common bug?
Thanks for your helpActually. Scrub my earlier comment. It's not saving any work! When Muse re-opens it's recovering the last session only. I cannot save it to any disk drive!

Adobe Source Sans Pro font broken in adobe muse
Uggghh.
I'm getting tired of updating Muse to find that something that used to work is now broken and I have to spend hours/days/weeks either re-working a site to make it look right, or waiting for a fix.
Seriously I don't have time for this.
I open up my project this morning which I haven't worked on for a day or two.
Now Source Sans Pro web font is not displaying correctly. The Bold looks like regular. The Light looks like regular. The black looks like regular.
What is going on?
2 other gripes.
1. Adobe Muse seems to lose font associations in another site I needed to do a small change on. I had Quattrocentro Roman and Pacifico fonts (non-web fonts) in the site. However, when I install the fonts, Muse can't automatically pick up that the fonts are there. I had to manually go and reselect the fonts tediously through the entire document to get the appearance right. I had a client sitting next to me while I did that for an hour while I'm making excuses. A real good look that is. Indesign picks up fonts the instant they are install, and updates the document flawlessly and reliably. But Muse cannot do that. We need a "find font" feature!
2. Please don't suspend Typekit services when an install is available. You forced me to update to 2014 version of creative cloud, suspending the type kit service until I upgraded. I have to open and edit jobs for print, and the ones that have type kit fonts in them, I was not able to edit until I upgraded. I waited 2 hours while the first download failed, and then I attempted again. I can't afford to be held ransom to an update. I have lots of small jobs to output ready for press, and when I come into work to find that I can't output a job that I was working on yesterday it makes my blood boil.
I don't have time to be a beta tester, going through logs and testing. I need tools that work reliably!Hi,

Adobe Muse in browser editing - BC webmarketing
Hi,
Can someone explain if there is a difference for the set up for in browser editing with BC if your starting point is;
- create blank site in BusinessCatalyst (webMarketing) and then create a site in Muse and publish on this BC site. It seems you then automaticly get the Business Catalyst in browser editing function.
- create a Muse site > publish to BC. Then it is a webbasic site.. and you get in browser editing the Adobe Muse style.
What's the way to go if your client need a site with the simple Muse in browser editing but a higher level BC then webBasic?

You can choose to create a site in Muse first and publish to BC, the site will be created as a web basics site. The web basics site also contains In Browser Editing in it. There's no relation between site plan and In Browser Editing. Once published, you can simply contact us via chat and we can upgrade the site plan for you as per your choice while still keeping the site in trail, should you choose to upgrade your site plan to Web marketing (or any other BC plan). Can I install Adobe Muse 2014 on Windows 7 32-bit?
Hello I bought Adobe Muse the old version 7 before. Now, I'm planning to buy the new one 2014 but it says in the System requirements...
Note: 32-bit systems are no longer supported as of June 2014.
This is very hard for me because...
If I upgrade my OS to 64-bit that means, I would probably encounter A LOT of problems in my drivers and softwares.
Plus, I don't have time to reinstall every program and settings I've had for the past 3 years. Finally, this is my work PC.
What can I do?

Adobe Muse CC hangs @ 84% during installation
I have installed a couple of programs this evening, Premier Pro & Acrobat. I have been trying to install Muse and Photoshop this evening and keep running into problems upon problems. Muse continues to hang at 84% into installation. The last couple of log entires are as follows:

Please uninstall Adobe AIR from your machine and then use the link : https://get.adobe.com/air/ to install Adobe AIR.
After that try installing Adobe Muse using the link : http://www.adobe.com/go/muse_latest_win

Failure to install Adobe Muse CC with the Enterprise version
Hi all,
I am currently using a PC running on Win7 Pro. I am using an Enterprise version and have used CCP to churn out the CC software.
As I attempt to install Adobe Muse CC from the exceptions folder by double-clicking on the InstallAdobeMuse application, My computer prompts me with an incompatibility issue. It asks me to use the recommended settings or choose a different setting. So I chose the recommended settings and there is a split-sec flash on the screen that shows more like a dos prompt and then it disappears. I tried again and nothing happens.
All these while I have switched off the antivirus and run from an administrator mode.
Pls help!

Hi all. Just wondering who the Adobe Muse CC Team are and if they exist at all. There is no clear instruction on the Adobe CC site of how to contact this team so I've resorted to this post. If anyone from the Adobe Muse Team are reading this please help me. Muse continually crashes giving me the extremely unhelpful and hollow message below.

I downloaded a tutorial file and that worked as expected, and starting a new worked (a minimal test of mostly nothing), so I am beginning to think that it may be an object in the file i sent that is the culprit, and not just a buggy upgrade
I cannot remember using any Flash symbols, but I did use symbols in Illustrator, along with Illustrator SVG files

This is a personal project, not a monetary thing, so I would say it is a low priority — however I wish you luck in figuring out whatever the problems are.
I have been around since 1984, and this software glitch takes me back to the days when installing / updating software was nightmarish. As I said this is not crucial for me, but I do feel the pain of people trying to get material produced under deadlines.

Parallax Scrolling and HiDPI in Adobe MUSE
Hi all,
I have a small problem. I've upgraded to the latest version of Adobe Muse and enabled on my latest project the HiDPI feature. I've now found that when I replace the pictures linked to my parallax scrolling effect, the pictures are not the correct size anymore. They shrink in size and start to tile. I even tried to use a super-size the pictures and still nothing. Is this a known issue?? Is there are way around it or is there something I'm missing and need to change.
