Adobe....Not refunding student Trial Subscription

Adobe just sent this email response to me after my first posting of their poor customer service...the problem is they owe me for the Trial refund and for the second deduction.  The account was canelled.  They should not have taken the second deduction.   Adobe...the refund is to be for 65.52.  Update the case!  [email protected]

Hi Robin,
I looked up your case history based on your email address. It looks like you had a hard time cancelling. I'm sorry you had a bad experience. Based on what I was seeing looking at your payment history, you were charged for one month and then credited back that same amount. There was another charge scheduled to happen but it never did because you cancelled.

    It seems like that you have purchased a subscription for Captivate 8. In subscription you do not require any serial number. Subscriptions are activated on the basis of your Adobe Id. When user will install Captivate he has to sign in with the same Adobe Id under which they bought subscription. It will get activated after successful sign in during the installation.
    As far as the installer is concern there is no difference in the trial version installer or purchased version installer. The installer is same for trial and purchased copy. All user needs to do is sign in during the installation if it is a subscription or use his serial number if it is a perpetual license or volume license.
    You may download the trial version from the link mentioned above and then use your Adobe Id to activate the subscription.

    Do you have a License key? 24 digit numerical? If yes uninstall to existing version of Lightroom using your operating system procedure, this will not interfere with your catalog, preferences and personal files.
    Download the appropriate version for your operating system from this site. Product updates proceed to install and enter your License key.
    If you have a Adobe Creative Cloud subscription then you may need to uninstall the existing version the reboot and open the Adobe Creative Cloud Application Manager, login to your account and Lightroom CC should be available to install. The application will be automatically activated.

    When you installed the trial, there should have been an option to have ignored your current installation and leave it. Apparently you skipped that case. To uninstall the trial (in Windows) go to Control Panel>Programs & Features and select the Acrobat XI and choose uninstall. After the uninstall run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html to clean up your system. HOWEVER, if you see your old Acrobat in that window, do not run the cleaner, but do a repair on the old version.
    You did not mention the old version you had. You might try from http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/acrobat-downloads.html. As for the S/N, you should have register and if so you can get it from Adobe. The instructions are at http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html#adobeproductdownload.
    Be sure to backup any download of the old installer and the S/N to CD or backup HD for future use. They will not likely continue to be available.
