Adobe online improvement survey continues to appear

Every single time I open Adobe Photoshop CS6 I get asked to participate in the Adobe Online Improvement survey. I have declined 500 times by now. Adobe's direction instruct me to go to help > Adobe online improvement survey and select 'Do not allow'. Except 'Do not allow' is not available. It only brings up the same survey window I get when I open the program, where I can once again decline to participate. I have deleted my preferences file but have had no luck. Adobe help is apparently not working anymore either. Any suggestions? This is incredibly annoying.

The problem is not common - I don't think I've seen it discussed here.
There is no "Help > Adobe online improvement survey" entry. Can you be more specific (ideally take a screenshot) about exactly what it tells you to do to avoid the survey?
There IS a Help - Adobe Product Improvement Program entry. When I click that I get this dialog:
[Do Not Participate] seems the appropriate choice.
You're saying that's not the dialog you see when you choose Help > Adobe Product Improvement Program?

How do I stop the Adobe Product Improvement program prompt from constantly popping up whenever I open a pdf?      I've tried to follow all the instructions to disable but to no avail.    When I go to Help and try to follow the path, I can't get to anywhere to de-select participation.   What can I do, this is very disruptive and wasn't occurring two weeks ago, but now all the time??

Thanks for the response.   I’ve done this before, and I’ve just tried it again, and it doesn’t change anything.
If I go to “Help” and choose “Improvement Program Options” it simply brings me back to the popup window that asks “Help Improve the Adobe Reader Experience” asking for permission to include me in the program.   This window offers these two options:
“Yes I would like to help make Reader even better”
“No, thank you”
Then I can choose one of three actions
“OK”
“Remind Me Later”
“Cancel”
No matter which one I choose it doesn’t change anything, next time I try to view a pdf this same window popsup again asking me to participate in the improvement program.
This wasn’t like this two weeks ago, it just started and without me changing any settings on my computer.
What am I missing?

I can still see the icons of the books on Kalahari's reader. (Kalahari is an e-pub bookshop in South Africa.

Disable\Remove "Check for Update" "Lightroom online" and "Adobe Product Improvement Program"

I wanted to confirm if it is possible to remove\Disbale the options like "Check for Update" "Lightroom online" and "Adobe Product Improvement Program"
under help menu in adobe lightroom 5.3? I intend to deply this application and want these options to be unavailable for the User.

So far as I know, the only way to make these features non-functioning is to detach the computer from the internet.

Adobe retired this Feb 17, 2014.
This app sent content to and got content from the web based services of "CreatPDF" and "PDF Pack".
These are subscription services out in "the cloud". When the app was live you had to be online and signed into your account. The user forum for CreatePDF has a DOC that speaks to the app removal.

I do not need an adobe online account. I though I was updating acrobat when I downloaded a program from your site. Some of my features appeared to be lost after that, but there was a suggestion to sign in to adobe online. I thought I had to do that to get the features I was used to using (extract pages, etc.). Turns out I was in a new program: Reader. I did not need to be signed in on line at all. I think I clicked keep me signed in. I do not want to be signed in. I also gave you my email address and real birthday. I do not want adobe online to have that or track me. Please tell me (1) how to sign out of adobe online, (2) not be tracked by adobe; and (3) get my real birthday out of your records. Thank you.

This is a user to user forum, not a way of addressing Adobe. As to your specific questions, I don't know what you mean by "Adobe on line", so I cannot suggest how to sign out of it. And I don't know of any commercial firm that will agree to completely erase all your data from their records, so I wouldn't expect you to find any way to acomplish what you ask in (2) and (3).

Thanks for your response. I called up some local resellers in Dubai, UAE, there is a price difference of USD55/=. With the saving from Adobe store in US, I prefer to buy it directly online.
However, I keep getting the error message that my account was registered for another country, however i've registered for United Arab Emirates.
After many tries, the error message keeps appearing and another server error message as well.
Suddenly, the account opens up and allows me to enter my billing details. Finally purchased it from adobe mena region online via Digital River Intl.
Clicked on their link to download Lr5.3 and 4 hours later, it downloaded only 50% of it, so decided to cancel the download, it was taking way too long.
Tried what you mentioned, key in the magic password in my trial version and licensed it and it works perfectly!

Hi, Thanks for that further bug description In Your Last Message That Describes The Problem I Am Having perfectly and is exactly the same for me.
unfortunately that fix for my camera Powershot G6 does not work or apply as the view pictures switch is different on G6 is not usable during download as once you plug in DC/USB cable it turns off, and makes no diff and problem still exists exactly as you just described.

it has been 17 days since apple promised to get back to me within 3-5 days hopefully with a solution, but I have still not heard from them.
They blew me off, i guess, probably i will have to wait for new Yosemite OS update, which they pre-warned me could take as much as 6 months.
I cannot believe apple released this new update with such major bug issues for camera downloads and that horrible "Photos" pgm which has all sorts of downgrades in features, usefulness and new bugs compared to iPhotos which I just finally got used to and was much better software.
I am starting to lose faith in Apple and I am getting that Microsoft "FEEL" like I used to have when I was a PC user, which was why I originally switched to Apple computers in first place.
Oh well got my fingers crossed here.

Adobe XI send for shared review is missing option for Adobe online services, where did it go?

I am using Adobe XI and trying to share a PDF file using Comments --> Review ---> Send for Shared Review. The option to share via Adobe Online Services is missing. What is causing this and how do I get that option back? I am working on a Mac in Safari. Screen shot below:

With Acrobat Pro 11.0.06 I have send more 188 files for shared review with deadline in June.
After the update (automatically in May) to 11.0.07 Monday June, 2 became a cold shower to me:
1) to start a new Acrobat.com-based shared review was not possible anymore
2) tracking of my 188 reviews was not possible anymore, "no active reviews" = empty tracking list !!
My temporary solution: uninstall 11.0.07 and reinstall 11.0.00 with NO automatic updating: stop updating at version 11.0.06.
Result: the tracking list is filled with all items.
Earlier this year Adobe announced end of life of Acrobat.com-based shared reviews at the end of this year 2014.
My question to Adobe: how long is this type of shared review supported ?
My complete workflows are based on it.

I've installed Acrobat 9.1.2 and the "Adobe PDF" menu choice does not appear on the Excel 2000 Menu. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Microsoft Office option in PDF Maker with no change. I'm viewing in Adobe Acrobat Pro. Not sure what my client has.
And, yes, the boxes are all transparent. I tried pasting the native AI file, and EPS file, with the same result. When viewed at 150% and above, they look perfect. But, when viewed to fit page on screen, they distort.

If you have any apps that were acquired with the old ID they will always be tied to that ID. Delete them and reacquire them with the new ID that you have in Settings > iTunes and App Store

hello ptbruce, you probably only selected to open (not save) the video which will download it into windows temporary folder where it gets deleted again after it has been used. <br>you could try to right-click the entry in the firefox download manager and copy the link of the source file and try if you can download it through this url again. otherwise you'll have to contact the vendor of the video to find a solution...
