As I remember there are some Adobe updates have 2 different versions.

Very new and very green to illustrator.
Have used only once or twice since i bought it.
Unfortunately when i need to use it now - it crashes
upon starting up.
I received the following error message:

Installation failed. Error Code: U44M2P7
Haven't a clue what to do!
Any help and direction would be most appreciated.
g1Updates can fail due to any number of system issue. They are more prone to failing if you alter the application in any way. On the Macintosh, popular applications such as Monoligual will remove application package contents and therefore cause updates to fail.
The easiest solution is to uninstall Illustrator CS5 using the uninstaller and then reinstall Illustrator CS5, then immediatlly run the 15.0.1 update. -

Adobe OnLocation won't run after updating to Mavericks
I use Adobe OnLocation, the reason I bought a Mac, and after upgrading to Mavericks the system hangs everytime I start OnLocation. I have reinstalled the program numerous times. After a visit to the "Genius Bar" I decided to wipe the drive clean and reinstall the OS. Unfortunately Apple make no provision to revert to Mountain Lion. Does anyone else have this problem? How can I get Mountain Lion back on my machine?

Welcome to the HP Forums.
I see that you are having some scanning issues since you upgraded the operating system on the Mac.
Seeing the HP does have a full feature software and driver bundle for this particular operating system, I suggest that we start from scratch.
If you have the usb cable connected to the printer and the Mac, please remove it from both ends and leave it disconnected until further notice.
The first link I have for you gives instruction's on How to reset the printing system. Once we have the first step done, click on the next link for instructions on how to Repair disk permissions.
The last link I have for you is the HP Printer Drivers v3.0 for OS X. You will be given instructions on when to connect the usb cable.
If you are still having issues with scanning, I suggest then checking for apple updates as well as using the apple software for scanning.

I have purchased the Mater Collection CS5 for PC. I recently migrated to Apple with Master Collection CS6(MAC). I am missing ONLOCATION. Prelude is only part of my solution. I need live recording to control video via scopes. Do you have a solution? Or is there a way to carry over the PC Onlocation cs5 for mac? in other words is there a way to use the PC license to activate onlocation on mac? Thanks
On my Mac book pro i am running CS6 and On Location CS5. I have no problems streaming live to my mac book pro to my Canon XL-H1 via firewire 3pin to usb800. You can not however stream in the HDV setting on the camera. Adobe On location can't handle streaming High definition footage even High definition video.

My update keeps telling me I need to update my Premiere Pro CS5 to v5.0.4 but tells me there is an error downloading. Tried to download manually and install but it only has a link for retail DVD version and I have an electronic download version. I know CS5 is no longer supported but shouldn't I at least have some where I can download this update? Thanks
that link is the only one for pre cc app updates.
is the current downloadable version cs5.04? if yes, that would explain why there is no update for the downloadable version. you would uninstall your cs5 and install the current download in that situation.

Adobe Bridge CS5 4.0.5 Update Installation failed
I have scoured the forums and I see no discussion that addresses my particular error.
For starters I have a Mac, not Windows.
Here's the error from the log:
- 0 fatal error(s), 2 error(s), 0 warning(s)
ERROR: The following payload errors were found during install:
ERROR: - Adobe Bridge CS5_4.0.5_AdobeBridge4-mul: Install failed
I'm following this Adobe guide on troubleshooting but have no clue how to address this. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Photoshop 3 times.
I am also getting similar errors for pixelbender and Camera Raw:

MorrisCan you reset you computer to before the update and try the update again?
You should also reset you preferences as this file is not affect by a reinstall. Believe in Mac it is hold down Cmd key and start Bridge. You should get a reset window with 3 options. -
Canon XH-A1s not detected by Adobe OnLocation CS5
Hi All,
I recently purchased the Canon XH-A1s HDV Camcorder.
I've hooked the camera up the my 2011 MacBook Pro (8GB RAM, Quad Core i7 Processor) and am wanting to use Adobe OnLocation to record monitor footage as it is shot.
However, when I open Adobe OnLocation the camera is not detected and I just get the standard "No Video Input Available".
I've had a look at the Mac OS X System Profiler, under the FireWire section and the Camera is detected fine, so I know there isn't a problem with the FireWire 800 cable.
My current steps are as follows:
With camera turned off connect FireWire cable from the Camera to the MacBook Pro.
Open Adobe OnLocation.
Create a new project.
Turn the camera on.
Does anyone have any thoughts? Am I doing anything wrong/not doing something?
All help is greatley appreciate.

OliverI've managed to get Adobe OnLocation to detect the XH-A1.
OnLocation does not automatically detect the camera when in Manual mode, or any of the other preset modes for that matter.
The camera needs to be set to the very first option (before the VCR mode - I forget it's name).

I currently have Version 6.0.6 and am trying to download the next version or fix of 7.0.0 but there only seems to be a swedish version. If I try to download 7.0.1 it tells me I need to down load 7.0.0 first. Help!
