Adobe photoshop 7 BACK TO 3 OR 4?
PROBABLY 10 YEARS AGO I INSTALLED AND USED PHOTOSHOP 3 OR 4 AND SUCCESSFULLY USED IT. IN FACT MY PHOTOS WOULD LOAD DIRECTLY INTO ADOBE SO A COULD EDIT THEM IF NECESSARY.
I THEN PURCHASED ADOBE PHOTOSHOP 7 AND COULD NOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO WORK IT ABOUT FIVE OR SIX YEARS AGO.
I NOW HAVE THE TIME TO WORK WITH MY PHOTOS AGAIN AND WOULD LIKE TO TRANSFER BACK TO THE OLD PHOTOSHOP.
I AM UNABLE EVEN TO GET INTO THE PHOTOSHOP 7 TO TRY IT AGAIN.
PLEASE HELP.

Along the lines of Noel's advice (with which, I agree), if one does buy from Amazon (and I mean FROM Amazon, and not someone in their resellers list), I always go for the physical media, for archival purposes. If you do go with a download, from other than the Adobe Store, just be sure to burn all files to a DVD-Data disc, or at least Copy them to some very safe place, just in case you ever need them to Reinstall. Like Noel, I always buy from the Adobe Store, but then a sale is a sale - just be sure to archive any download files.

Alright, can someone explain to me how to re-download Adobe Photoshop?
I was given a wacom tablet, and an adobe photoshop back in 2007. I adored it. That computer crashed, and I figured out how to redownload it on my laptop... that has, since then, also broken. I was looking into how to redownload it once again onto my new computer.
I can find my serial number. I have my sign in information. It even notices that I have Photoshop already. But I cannot find a link to download it. It's beyond frustrating.
Ive checked under "my orders" and I dont have any, so I cannot download it from there. =/I appreciate this suggestion, but it isnt on this website. =/
Searched through it manually, and also used the search toolbar. The only thing pertaining to "Photoshop Elements 5" it had was a comparison page.
I'd call customer service, but I honestly dont have 35$ I can just throw at it to call them. -
Adobe Photoshop touch to Mac and back without adobe cloud costs & privacy issues.
How do I transfer files between Adobe Photoshop touch and my adobe creative suite applications on my mackintosh computer? I do not want to pay for additional adobe cloud services. In addition I have concerns over the privacy of adobe's cloud for certain images. As a retired plastic surgeon, I have used Photoshop for years to help with public and patient education. Final posted images can have privacy concerns addressed. I do understand that I can transfer a single layer from Photoshop touch back to the computer by mail or camera roll. procreate has a Photoshop export tool.
Where is Photoshop touches export tool? if the only tool is through the additional monthly charges of the cloud, you are alienating loyal Adobe customers.

I am running Lion 10.7.5, Adobe Photoshop CS6, scanning slides on my Epson V600 and can no longer use the scan application or the plug in for Photoshop. Should I revert back to leopard in my time machine to finish scanning my family slides?
In 10.7 there is not a twain that works with Photoshop for importing with all the options needed to scan transparencies. I noticed that when I was scanning in October 2012 I was still using CS6 so somehow I was managing to be able to use all the scan features.
They sell 2nd party software (VieScan and Silverscript)which I found to be just mimially OK and very hard to use.
I just want to scan like I used to.
Can I use time machine to go back to an earlier operating sysytem LEOPARD, and then do my scans and then save the photos and them go back to the LION system?
I spent 7 hours trying crazy solutions - downloading Windows CS2 Photoshop and then using a program so I could run it on the apple. Then I couldn't figure out how to put a plug in for the scanner in the stupid windows Photoshop program. Googgling the computer like a mad woman trying to ask questions. I am not giving up...
Please help if you can...

You have a heap of work to do before you can reinstall it. NEVER try to get rid of PSE by putting it in the trash. You must use the uninstaller. By attempting to trash it you just made a big old mess for yourself.
You will need to download and run this:

Then go through your hard drive and manually dig out and trash all the bits you can find. Pay special attention to the library at the top of your hard drive>Application Support>Adobe.
Once you successfully get that cleaned up, you can try reinstalling.

The following may help you understand about deleting photos from a library:
Deleting Photos from an iPhoto Library:
1 - from an Event or the Photos mode: select the photo(s) and use the Delete key to move the photos to the trash bin. Then empty the iPhoto Trash bin as follows:
2 - from an album, smart album, book, slideshow, card, etc.: select the photo(s) and use the key combination of Command+Option+Delete to move the photos to the trash bin. Then empty the trash bin as above.
NOTE: deleting a photo from an album, slideshow, book, etc., with only the Delete key only deletes that photo from that item. Deleting a photo from an Event deletes ALL occurences of that photo in the library.

Ok, so I just bought Adobe Photoshop elements 12 from Best Buy a month ago, and I want to download it onto my computer now. So I inserted the CD and everything, and through the process, the box popped up telling me to insert my serial number. After looking up what that was- and being told it was on the sticker on the back on the CD box- I entered it, and it keeps telling me it's invalid. It's a 8 number, so is it a redemtion code? If so, where do I redeem it?
The serial number should 24 numbers divided into sets of 4 (I think). It should be located on the CD cover. I don't think a redemption code is involved if you buy the CD, but just in case here's some links to cover either case...

I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 and am trying to upgrade to 13 - getting error message that "file archive part" of Adobe 13 is missing. When I try to download installers for older products it only goes back to v7, not v5 what to do next?

I bought a Nikon Camera and I then got a Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4 as a special offer and special package. There is no seriel number on it, just product code on the back of the box. Burning back up discs from the organizer on Adobe photoshop 3.0
O.K. I'm really having a tough time backing things up. It's hard to
tell things where to start saving from. It use to be that everthing that was on the Adobe Photoshop organizer was saved to the
hard drive. When saved on the hard drive it is not as nice as it could be. I tried to merge photo packets saved at different times
thinking that I'd have one big file of photos to burn/back up from. Didn't work and at first the organizer was showing a ?. Stopped there
and left for vacation after turning computer off. When I came back and turned on all photos were on organizer. Thank God!!
I click on the file button and drag down to burn/ back up and it asked me to put a disc in. I do and it sais it will only need a small
part of it to save. There are 3,700 photos I want backed up. What do I need to do? I have most of these saved except the last 450 photos

Or is this Adobe Photo Deluxe 3.0 -- a long discontinued junior product? You haven't said where you acquired this software, but there could be questions about its legitimacy -- there is a lot of bogus software in the secondary markets. New software has a vehicle for product registration; older Adobe software was typically by postcard, fax or telephone response.
Older serial numbers were typically 3 letters followed by 3 digits, 1 letter, 7 digits, hyphen, and 3 digits. In addition, Adobe serial number, while typically in small to very small type, are never backwards requiring a mirror to view.

there are no options t editAre you sure that your copy of lightroom 5 is activated and CC is running and logged in? Adobe has set LR so that if you let your subscription expire (or deactivate or whatever) you will be able to view and manipulate your catalog, but won't be able to open Develop. Sounds like you may have gotten hit by that. Log out of CC, then log in, and then open LR and see if it's okay.
