Adobe Photoshop airbrush icon turns from a circle to an arc when enlarged past a certain size & this makes accuracy progressively more difficult. Upgraded from v11.01 to 11.02 but no change. Running Win XP OS on an HP Elitebook 8730W F.0F with built-in Nvidia Quadro FX 2700M graphics.

After the latest Security Update 2012-001 (Mac OS X 10.6.8) my Adobe Photoshop CS 8, Dreamweaver 8, and InDesign CS programs crash when I try to save a file. HELP!!!

Apparently some are reporting that this causes the older PowerPC (PPC) applications that are supported in 10.6 via 'Rosetta' to crash upon attempting to open/save/print using any dialog box, or fail in other similar ways such as simply not printing or quitting, or freezing/hanging/crashing of the application.
I have read of some companies that have indeed submitted proper bug reports to Apple, but that is not a guarantee of a bug-fix being issued.

If you are unsure if you are still using PowerPC apps, if the application is currently running, look under the 'Activity Monitior' (in Applications -> Utilities), or alternatively you could check in the System Profiler, Applications. Check the column "Type".
Here is a fairly simple way you can restore you system and restore you applications functionality again, if you don't have a recent clone or good Time Machine backup that you can restore from. If you do, restore from your backup prior to having installed the Security Update 2012-001.

If you are restoring a backup made by a Mac to the same Mac
With your backup drive connected, start up your Mac from the Lion recovery partition (Command-R at startup) or Mac OS X v10.6 installation disc. Then use the "Restore From Time Machine Backup" utility. Select the backup prior to your issues, and it will be restored back to the state it was in at that time.
If you can't easily restore from a backup, you can instead do the following:
- You first start by reinstalling your OS X 10.6.x, this will preserve all your user data, your applications, no worries there.
- Then install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 (links provided below)
- Make sure you're printers are showing up correctly in your system preferences, if not, re-add the printers
- Then finally, run the Apple Software Update (by pulling down the Apple Menu), and install any and all remaining updates, except do not then re-install the Security Update 2012-001. It is possible that you may have to reboot after installing some of the updates, and you may even need to run it a 2nd time to make sure that you've got all updates, except NOT the Security Update 2012-001.

Change license Adobe Photoshop CS4 (11.0) from window to mac os x
I had legaly bought Adobe Photoshop CS4 (11.0) DVS/A, PHSP, WIN, GEN, MUL,CZ/HU/PL/RO. Its be possible can I change license from Windows to Mac OS X. Because i was change Computers. Old windows computer was burn processor and I was bought Apple Macbook Pro. And i can now use that photoshop. I dont want use WMvare,Oracle virtual box or other.
It's no good arguing with us, we don't make the rules and don't work for Adobe.
In general when you change between Windows and Mac you should budget for re-buying all software, though you can be lucky with some. -
Hello I have lost my serial number for adobe photoshop elements 13. Bought from John Lewis last month. I did have it installed but had to uninstall but cannot find the any of the packaging etc plus did not register. What is the best way of getting it installed again/replacement? Thanks
Do you have the receipt? If you have proof of ownership, you _may_ be able to persuade Customer Support to help you out. I imagine you would need to scan and email that proof if it works at all.

i have the original CD but the laptop doesn't take CDs. I had my CD registered with Adobe when I first purchased it and am hoping I could do a software download via Adobe website. Am I wrong?

I just buy Photoshop CC about 2 months ago. By mistake I deleted the Adobe files in Programmes and programmes (X84). in creative cloud does Photoshop still exist. What can i do to install photoshop again????

The title says it all. After about 1/2 hr using CS6 my brush 'icon' stops showing up as a 'circle' and reduces to a cross. I've tried everything I can think of but to no avail. I have to restart CS6 to get the circular icon back, but then after about a 1/2 it disappears again.
Please HELP!!!!!I didn't even notice that. I think that fixes it. Thanks.

Can't find an updated video driver, or cs6 update to fix this.
I think that I'm having the same issue. I've downloaded the updated java that you suggested. this is what I'm getting....I'm not sure what to do. then once I close them all out if I try to open anything that has already been edited as final jpg files its the same thing.

Sadly, this is Windows machine so I dont have a non-iOS version of iMovie. I have 2 ideas left. The first is xfering the project to my iPhone 4 and trying to export it there (if that works, awesome but geez apple the iPad 2 is way more powerful than the iphone 4.. youd think I wouldnt even have to attempt this). The 2nd idea is to start at the end of my movie and delete clips and sounds backwards, trying to export each time to find whatever clip is causing the issue (when the movie was 5 minutes it mixed no probem, so I only need to go that far).

Problem with Adobe Photoshop desk top icon
How do I get the Adobe Photoshop eye icon on my desk top. I can only get a file folder on my desk top. the icon is not in my program files to drag on desk top. Do I have to reinstall program from disk?
Create a new desktop shortcut and point it at the Photoshop executable. Depending on which OS you're running and Photoshop version you have installed, the path will be something like one of these:
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 6.0\Photoshp.exe
C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Photoshop CS\Photoshop.exe
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS5 (64 Bit)\Photoshop.exe
Let us know your OS and Photoshop versions and we can be more specific.

I have a Big Problem with Adobe Photoshop CS 2 under Mac Os 10.4.11.
When i click the Photoshop CS2 Icon then Adobe Photoshop crashes.
I delete all file in Preferences and Library and reinstall Adobe Photoshop CS2 - its the same Problem.
I don´t can Use Adobe Photoshop CS2.
Note: Indesign CS2 has no Problems - its running well.
Who can Help me????I'm having the EXACT same problem. I don't know what to do as I use this in my business daily. None of my other programs....GoLive, Illustraor, InDesign are all fine. Surely we can't be the only 2 people that this has happened too.
THEN tried calling Adobe... worthless. They only help if someone upgrades to cs4 or 5. That means spending MORE money to upgrade your version of the computer this all after spendin $250 on their Creative Suites package. Bunch of BULL CRAP.

J2ee.jar not seen although in classpath
