Adobe Photoshop CC not working

Adobe Photoshop CC is not working today when it was working fine yesterday. Windows says it isn't working sends a message and closes the programe down. I am a Tafe student I do not know anything about IT all I want is for the programme to open and work. There seems to be little avenue to get assistance with this Cloud. Can anybody help? I cannot find the uninstall button/component either.

Richard Curtis has advised i come to you.
Since the release of 14.2 I have been unable to update to this version from 14.0 - even CC says I'm up to date.
I uninstalled, downloaded 14.2, downloaded CC Manager, installed it all. Still installed as 14.0
Now today when trying to login to CC it logs me straight back out. Richard suggested reinstalling CC Manager but I can't because when i get to the stage of install, it asks me to login....logs me straight out.
So, i am stuck ! I saw all the new features at Photoshop World at the Adobe brief but fear I won't be able to update when it's released.
I would absolutley appreciate any help you can give.

Adobe photoshop tools not working on a Surface tablet randomly?

I just installed CC Adobe photoshop on my Surface Pro 3 tablet and it has been nothing but frustration. For reasons I cannot discern, the tools do not work on my image at random times. I'll have smudges on one of the layers, and I choose the eraser tool and it won't erase anything in any layer. I can't draw anything with a brush or pencil either. In fact the tools stop working altogether. Yes the layer is active and visible, no it's not locked. Very frustrating, and I'm at wits end. The only thing I've been able to do is save my work in stages, and go back to the previous stage if this happens. Is there a glitch on the Surface pro 3 with photoshop that causes it to not respond?

I was having the same trouble, so i went to Adobe Help's Preferences > General Settings and switched to Display Local Help content only = Yes. As it says there, it disables the online links, but if you have an updated version of Help downloaded, it's easier and quicker anyway than the online system, and likely all you were needing anyway. You can always turn it back on later.

Edit in Adobe Photoshop is not working

Hi,
I have this strange problem with Lightroom/Photoshop integration. It is easier to describe what is working than what is not. When I select a single JPG or PSD photo from Lightroom integration works ok. I can open the photo directly as "Edit in Adobe Photoshop" and PS opens and it opens the photo. However if I select DNG photo or try to open a photo as smart object or select multiple images and try to open them as layers in PS, then PS lauches but PS doesn't open the image(s).
If I create an additional editor and select PS there with same defaults as the default one, I can open DNG photos in PS using that. Obviously that doesn't help with open smart objects, layers, panoramas or HDR.
I am running latest version of Lightroom (3.5) and Photoshop (12.0.4) on my MacBook with OSX 10.7.2. I had the same problem last week and the restarting my computer helped. Now it doesn't... I have searched solutions for this problem and people have previously suggested for removing the preferences file (plist), I tried that with LR and PS, no help. I have reinstalled both programs, but the problem still persists.
Any suggestions?

I just tried to restore all Adobe related preferences (to ~/Library/Preferences from TimeMachine which are about two weeks old. That doesn't seem to help either.

Edit in adobe photoshop cs4 not working

Hi there!
I have Lightroom 2.3 & Adobe Photoshop CS4 installed.
The "edit in adobe photoshop cs4" function is not working for my RAW files (DNG). When I select "edit in adobe photoshop cs4", Photoshop is started up, but it doesn't load anything. It is working for other formats like JPG/TIF/PSD, as an -EDIT version though.
Anyone any idea? Thanks in advance!

Normally, when this happens it's because the version of Camera Raw installed with Photoshop doesn't support your camera. You haven't mentioned which camera you are using, but it's probably worthwhile downloading the latest version of Camera Raw (currently 5.3, but there's a release candidate of 5.4 available from http://labs.adobe.com/wiki/index.php/Camera_Raw_5.4

Adobe Photoshop CS not working in Lion

Adobe Photoshop CS has a "no entry" sign over the icon in my dock and will not open.
How can I get it to work or is my role as a designer with Adobe CS numbered?

Actually, only a couple of app's are PPC in nature. First, insure that you have your Java SE up to date, then see if that changes things. Also, if you look in the System Information (System Profiler) you can find out what and where the PPC programs are and investigate if the vendor has upgraded the software. I run CS4, and have a full Developer Version, so when I looked, there was one or two of the CS4 package that was there that was PPC.
Check into it a bit further, you might be surprised that vendors want you to be happy with your purchase so you will buy again.

In photoshop under Help>About Plugin does it list Camera Raw and if so which version is it?

Adobe has decommissioned the CS2 activation servers, so your old serial number is no longer usable.
If you download the special non-activating version of CS2 that Adobe has made available to licensed CS2 users, you MUST also use the new serial number provided by Adobe on that download page:

For the problem that the issue is not happening on a different Account, Adobe does have a KB trying to save your orriginal account:

Folowing these steps should actually result in either that you are able to work on your original Account, or that you at least did everything possible (according to Adobe) to save your account.
You should not be required to use a Second Email for using Photoshop, This does not make much sense, Your AdobeID and OS Account are (or at least should) not (be) linked to eachother.
Hopefully this will help you to work with the original Account again.

When I loaded the software on to the hard drive there seemed to be no problem. The file appeared as adobe Photoshop Elements 10 and included the sun flower icon.
Point 1:
When I open the file I have four additional icons (deploy - packages - payloads - Install) the install folder is red and has a no entry motif in white when you click this icon the massage comes up 'You can't open the application "Install" because its not supported on this architecture.
Point 2:
When I click on the sun flower icon Photoshop Elements 10 its takes me straight to Photoshop Elements 2 an old version that was transfered when I had to change the computer. If I click on the elements 2 icon it launches for a couple of seconds and an error message then comes on "An unexpected and unrecoverable problem has occurred because of a programe error. Photoshop will now exit.

Adobe photoshop is not running 3d option..

I have navidia gt 750m and i cant use 3d option when i go to the prefrence and enable use graphics processor and try to open a new file it crashes if i disable the use graphic processor the 3d menu wont work please help me...

Because it 'encountered a problem with the display driver', it sounds like a driver issue on your end. I'd recommend you ensure your display driver is installed correctly and updated to the latest NVIDIA release. You can get the drivers for your card here:
