Adobe Photoshop CS5 stopped working w/ NIK (Win 7, 64 bit)

I am getting Photoshop stopped working error when NIK plugins are used.
There is no such error when NIK plugins are not used.
Adobe says ...
Contact NIK for latest edition {and I have such} but there are many threads on known documented CS4 and CS5 Video bug that triggers such an error statement. Is this related <??>
PS 12.1 x64 stopped working error when saving image with Analog Effects, Color Effects, Silver Effects, and HDR Effects. I use version 2.1.15.166 x64 0801 NIK Collection. For the problem that the issue is not happening on a different Account, Adobe does have a KB trying to save your orriginal account:

Folowing these steps should actually result in either that you are able to work on your original Account, or that you at least did everything possible (according to Adobe) to save your account.
You should not be required to use a Second Email for using Photoshop, This does not make much sense, Your AdobeID and OS Account are (or at least should) not (be) linked to eachother.
Hopefully this will help you to work with the original Account again.

Photoshop cs5 stops working

Hi all,
Automated batch from Bridge tools>photoshop>batch Photoshop cs5 stops working. Automated actions work in Photoshop. All other Photoshop process work from Bridge. I use a PC with windows. This happens even with files I was previously able to do an automated batch with Photoshop. It doesn't matter what the file extension is. This has only recently begun happening for no apparent reason.

The best idea I have is to lose the Matrox. Remove all Matrox hardware, then wipe the system clean (to get rid of any Matrox software) by reinstalling the Operating System, drivers and programs from scratch.
Once you've got things working again, please join the call for proper monitoring without buggy/limiting third-party hardware/drivers.

Photoshop CS5 stopped working

I downloaded and installed the CS5 Design Premium suite. (I already had CS4 installed and working on my computer.) I used Photoshop (64 bit), Bridge, InDesign and Illustrator. I have opend and closed each of these programs several times. I have used PS CS5 extensively.
Suddenly, Photoshop CS5 won't load. Bridge, InDesign and Illustrator still work. But I get an error message "Photoshop has stopped working" right at the end of the initialization.
I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium on an Intel i7 920 processor with 6GB of RAM. I have 750 GB free on my primary HD.
I tried deleting the preferences, the workspace preferences, the workspace I created and everything in the Workspaces(Modified) folder. Same error message.
I am using a Wacom Intuos3 tablet. I was getting some odd behavior with it, so I installed a new driver. As far as I know, that's the only change made to my computer.
I'm going to try rolling back the driver. Any other ideas?

Thanks for your quick response.
I was able to restore the computer to an automatic restore point from this afternoon. (First I had to disable part of Norton.) After that, Photoshop would load. But then my tablet was dead.
I downloaded and installed the 6.1.4-3 version of the driver, not the latest one that I install the first time.
Now both are working. I don't know if there is a conflict with the 6.1.5-3a version of the driver or if something else caused the problem.

why does Photoshop CC 2014, close down every time i try to use Focus Area, I have it in Danish,on a danish computer, windows 7.
There must be other out there whit the same problem.
Have restartet sevel times, but still the same.
Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 has stopped working. A problem caused the program ceased to function properly. Windows closes the program and notifies you if there is a solution.
I do also have problems with Actions, many can not run, like this ...The command " Feather " is not available at the moment. This is one of the problems.

Adobe photoshop elements stopped working on Mac Pro

in January 2014 adobe photoshop elements purchased at i-tunes store. Always worked properly. Now since about a week, I can not start the program. After startup, he asks to sign up with my Apple ID, when I do this it gives the error message: Your device or computer could not be verified. Please contact support for assistance. Have already had contact with i-tunes store, this let me know that this is something for Adobe.

that's an apple error message so you should either:
1. contact apple to resolve.
2. uninstall photoshop elements (pse), reinstall using a link below and your pse serial number. before uninstalling make sure you can download the correct version/language and you have your serial number available.
