Adobe Photoshop CS6 for Mac

I have purchased the non-extended version, but I can only seem to download the extended version. My serial number will not work for the extended version. How can I let the program know I want the basic version, not the extended. I am so, so frustrated!

Yes, the installer is the same. All trials/ unserialized versions are Extended. The serials will disable these features and convert it to Standard.

They say you should get a email with the serial number and download instructions after purchase.
Your email should specify Mac and the download would be a .dmg file.
We are basically a user group and have no connection with this company, you have to contact them.

Perpetual products which use serial numbers are platform specific. You will not be able to use the same serial on a windows machine.
In order to use Photoshop on both Windows and Mac you will have to go for a creative cloud subscription.

Tools Panel missing in Photoshop CS6 for Mac

I have been using Photoshop CS6 for Mac for about 6 mths. now. When I opened it yesterday to work on some photos, I noticed that my tools panel that is always located on the left side of my screen had disappeared. I have been unable to locate it anywhere. Also, the top of my photoshop page looks different. Any assistance that I could get would be greatly appreciated.

Photoshop gets the fonts from the OS.

Hi all, I am running Mac OS 10.6.8 (Snow Leapard) on a Mac Pro Dual Core Intel Xeon with 2.66 GHz and 3 GB RAM.
I have tried to install Photoshop CS6 from the purchased disc and again from a downloaded trial version from Adobe. Both having the exact same install errors issue. I still have CS4 loaded since I wish to run with this suite for a while before I fully switch to CS6
