I just bought down load version of Adobe Photoshop CS6 buta failed to install many times with notification to install Adobe Support Advisor but even after installing Adobe Support Advisor i still not able to install my Adobe Photoshop CS 6, please comment and advise

I have recently been trying to download Photshop CS6 but the Installation Fails and a Window pops up telling me that:
" A Conflicting or Prerelease version of Adobe Photoshop CS6 exists on this computer. The conflicting version before installing the current media.

Try this solution and check if it resolves th issue.
I you are on Windows Navigate to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe on a 32 bit machine. C:\Program Files(x86)\Common Files\Adobe on a 64 bit machine.
Find a folder named caps and rename it to caps.old.
I you are on Windows Navigate to Library/Application Support/Adobe/
Find a folder named caps and rename it to caps.old.
Once you rename the caps folder try installing the software.

Can I buy "Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended", choose the platform "Windows" and then install it both on a Windows PC and as second installation on a MacBook Pro (on OS X)?

Hello everyone,
I want to buy "Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended" but have to choose a platform (Windows OR Mac) during the buying process. When I buy Photoshop, I'm allowed to install it on a second Computer, but use just one copy at the same time.
Is it possible to install the same licence both with the Windows PC and a MacBook Pro with OS X on it?

a ps license allows either 2 pc or 2 mac installations. to install on both mac and pc, you must purchase two licenses, or subscribe to adobe cc which does allow 1 pc and 1 mac installation for all adobe programs.

Please check for Windows Installer is set to manual and started. Navigate to start/run/Services.msc/Select Windows Installer and check it should be set to manual and services status should be started. If this does not work perform selective startup and try installing again: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-in/windows-vista/run-selective-startup-using-system-config uration.
Try installing from hidden admin: http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/enable-the-hidden-administrator-account-on-wi ndows-vista/
If still the same issue then kindly download Photoshop from the mentioned link: http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html . Create package again using AAMEE 3.1 and try to install.

This is a known issue, The workaround for the same is to create a folder 'Templates' at
>'<Windows drive>:\Users\<current user login>id>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\'
Then try installing PS again it should work.

I am currently trying to download the adobe photoshop CS6 trial version. When I attempt to install the program I can see the gui box shape of the installer. However, I see nothing inside of the box and cannot proceed to install the program? There is no words or options for me to select from. Is there anything wrong with my MBP or is it the application?.

JayCz have you ever install Photoshop CS6 successfully on this computer previously? You may want to check Font Book to verify the conditions of the fonts installed on your computer. I would also recommend redownloading a fresh copy of the installation files. Adobe Photoshop CS6 Offline Trial Installation Problems (Request Code)

I have been trying to install Adobe Photoshop CS6 Trial offline because it says "my computer isn't connected to the Internet" but i cant figure out how to generate a request code. See screen shots. These are my EXACT Steps. I don't know where to go from here. Thank You!

Step 2. It loads for about 2-3 minutes

Adobe Photoshop CS6 provides no engine for debugging

Hello,
I've been trying to diagnose a problem with my wife's copy of CS6 Web and Design premium. Basically it's unable to run any JSX script that requires the Debug engine. I receive the error message 'Adobe Photoshop CS6 provides no engine for debugging' - trying it on Illustrator also gives a similar error. Persisting by clicking the 'play' button brings up a popup error message that says 'Unable to Run Script' or something similar.
Note that if I hack our JSX script to bypass the debug engine it works fine - except certain PSDs will cause CS6 (and my older copy of CS4) to crash, so this is only a stopgap measure. Disabling OpenGL on CS4 seems to prevent crashing but it's not an option on the wife's copy since she's a full-time artist and I'm not.
This is what I've had to change -
$.level = 2; // debug level: 0-2 (0:disable, 1:break on error, 2:break at beginning)
debugger; // launch debugger on next line
Changing the $.level = 0 lets me continue without issue.
This problem does NOT exist on my laptop using the same installer downloaded from Adobe.com. (I use trial version for testing, she uses her serial no.)
Is it possible this problem persists because I uninstalled an old copy of Photoshop CS5 (standalone installation) AFTER installing CS6 Web & Design (multiple programs)?
I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling CS6, but the problem persists.
Please help, our jobs rely on this. >.<
Worst case scenario I'll copy the entire install folder over from my laptop to try and fix the problem but I'd rather not have to since we're currently working in different countries and I can only use Remote Assistance to help.

The problem is the SCRIPTS work - the debugging engine is what's missing for some reason. Even if there's a way to just cleanly uninstall everything so I can start from scratch without formatting the hard disk would be a good solution. (since apparently I think I missed some files somewhere on the last uninstall)

Reinstalling resolved the issue. In case others are having the same issue, here is some more detail on this.
After a hard drive failure, I had to restore my machine from a Time Machine backup. After that Photoshop would not launch. All other Master Collection CS6 apps were working, except Photoshop.
When I tried to reinstall from the DVD, while installation was in progress (several steps after supplying and verifying my License Key), it would give an error message that my copy of the CS6 is counterfeit and installation would stop.
After talking to Adobe Tech Support on the phone, I uninstalled Photoshop, downloaded the trial version of CS6 from online (here is the link - Other downloads), then installed Photoshop from this download instead of my factory supplied DVD. This time, the installation went through and I was able to launch Photoshop after installation.
No activation was requires since other CS6 apps were already activated in the machine.

It's strange that you ran the cleaner tool and still didn't worked
you can try to login to Root user account and then run the cleaner tool , and then check.
