Adobe Photoshop Elements Language

For some reason mine is in German or some other European Language. I'm sure I selected English when it asked. I purchased it through the apple app store for my macbook pro. How can I chage it to English?

You will need to purchase an upgrade of Photoshop Elements 11 and choose the language for Spanish. We no longer offer language swaps for Photoshop Elements 8 since it is not the current version of the software.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 Language Problem

I've a problem with Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 Editor.
I bought Elements 10 Editor from the app store (I've a Mac) some months ago and I chose the english language during the installation.
Today it happened that, when I opened it, I found it totally in German! How can I restore english language?

Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 Editor

I purchased and installed for the Apple Shop, Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 Editor yesterday but I cant seem to get it working. Devastated!
Can anyone please assist me? Refer to the error attached.

You are right. Something very different about this version through MAS. I thought there was something screwy that even though the info in MAS said it could be installed in one of four different languages there was no option for which language.
Double checking this I got forced into buying it from MAS. Purchase made before I could back out and installation was automatic over which there was no control.
I can't find anything on my Lion drive about unistall.
Like I said PSE earlier versions had always let you set location and language as part of the install. And the install also included an unistaller for that app.
I wound up with an English installation which I guess is based on my location and account in MAS.
meino-w where did you download to, meaning your location?
I have to say that I am not impressed with how MAS handles this. It is also a different package than you would get from Adobe.
I am sorry that I don't have any answers, I am left with just questions myself.

Adobe photoshop elements stopped working on Mac Pro

in January 2014 adobe photoshop elements purchased at i-tunes store. Always worked properly. Now since about a week, I can not start the program. After startup, he asks to sign up with my Apple ID, when I do this it gives the error message: Your device or computer could not be verified. Please contact support for assistance. Have already had contact with i-tunes store, this let me know that this is something for Adobe.

that's an apple error message so you should either:
1. contact apple to resolve.
2. uninstall photoshop elements (pse), reinstall using a link below and your pse serial number. before uninstalling make sure you can download the correct version/language and you have your serial number available.

Can Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 be installed on Mac OS X 10.8 (ML)?

We have had a copy of PE10 sitting around for a while, but never got around to installing it. We are now running Mountain Lion on our 2010 iMac which easily meets the hardware requirements for PE10, but cannot get it to install. The serial is fully valid, that has been verified. It doesn't even complete the install of the first disc and errors out during install and says it cannot complete the install with Error Code 7. I'll have to run the install again to get the full error and post it, but I'm wanting to know if it is a compatibility issue with the OS being past 10.7. It sounds like a stupid question since clearly it says on the box "through 10.7", but that's because 10.8 wasn't out yet, so I feel like it should be compatible and there is just something not meshing right. Or, it is fully incompatible and we are SOL.
Anyone else have this issue or know the solution?

Uninterrupted useage of my legally purchased and registered Adobe Photoshop elements 10 software.

This IS not the first complaint of this nature (as it has happened to me once before, with an older version of the Adobe Photoshop software).
I have been the legal and registered owner of this software (Adobe Photoshop Elements 10) for over 2 years. In the past few weeks, each time I try to use my software, I am prompted in every instance to use my software, that an unusual request to treminate this operation has been recorded and that Adobe Photoshop 10 has become unresponsive .... with NO explanation offered. Naturally Windows has no interest in restricting my usage of a software which I paid for and duly registered when I installed it.
I have been an Adobe Photoshop Elements registered supporter/user for years (starting with Version 7). Since NO legitimate reason is known for this unexplained harrasment, I am left with no other alternative but to register a complaint. In the previous instance when this identical intrusion happened, after I investigated the reason behind such obstruction of service to a software which I was a legitimate and registered owner of, I was advised that I had more than one copy installed.
When does Adobe intend to join the rest of us in the 21st. centry and realize that most likely the majority of their customers run more than one hard drive in their PC cases, and that as a back-up precaution, the same software might be installed on the back up hard drive as well, (and still in the only PC case the owner has)?
I would respectfully request that this harrasment be discontinued IF us, "your customers", are expected to continue supporting the future Photoshop Elements releases. It is NOT our fault, that Adobe seems to be legally behind the times?
The courtesy of a response and correction of this ongoing unjustified interruption of services would be the minimum reaction that would serve as a sign of good faith and proper cutomer rights recognition?

Why is my Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 not in English???

I just purchased the Adobe photoshop elements 10 from the Mac App store and without even changing the settings or anything, it just launched in polish or german or idont know what language....I have no idea what to do...PLEASE HELPPPPPP

Other people have reported this from time to time. Try deleting it and then downloading it again (you won't have to pay--the link is in your purchased items). If that doesn't fix it, try contacting apple using the Report a Problem link in your receipt. (Since it doesn't use the regular adobe installer, there's not much you can do prior to installing to make sure it's going to install in the correct language.)

Owned Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 Editor for 6 weeks - upgrade?

I bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 Editor from the Mac App Store 6 weeks ago. I didn't need the organiser so the cut down version was perfect for me.
However, now Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 Editor is out but there is no upgrade option and it seems a bit harsh to expect people who bought recently to buy it all over again for a few new gadgets.
I really expected to see an upgrade to 9 to sort out the bugs I found but I'd guess that's not gonna happen now.
Is the only option "buy the new version" and hope that the bugs have been fixed?
When I Alt click "remember" on the save properties, it'd be nice if it actually remembered and not keep reverting back to GIF.

I, too, just paid $80 for the app store version of Elements 9 very recently.   The update, Elements 10, is FULL price to me.
That is rediculous.   Rediculous.
Charge me $20 in-app for the upgrade. Charge me $40, if you must Adobe, but asking me to pay another $80 is absurd.
The Adobe website says that app store download version of Elements will "qualify" for an upgrade price. What is the upgrade price? $80 - the same a brand new user would pay!
It is business practices like this that really anger those customers on whom Adobe has built its success. I used Photoshop for years, and Elements for the last few years. I enjoy the product and am familiar with how it works.
However, right now.... where I'm sitting... I am oh so close to clicking on the "buy" button for Aperature and giving my $80 to a company that treats its customers better.
Maybe this is what we all need to do to communicate with Adobe in the language they speak - $$$. (Similar to the OWS 99%ers are telling the big banks?)
Honestly - this is no way to treat loyal customers.

Custom Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.0 deployment error

I am working on developing a custom MSI to deploy Photoshop Elements 8.0 in our company and I am getting the following error message:
Install adobe photoshop elements 8.0 using the setup.exe in the root folder
I was hoping someone could assist me with finding the correct property to add to the MSI (using Orca) so that I can get past this error and continue with the installation/deployment.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The idea of installing from the .msi file is to make the installation universal. If we create a custom .mst file to run with the "Adobe Photoshop Elements 8.0.msi" file, it can be configured to automatically use the language selection previously configured in the Windows operating system. This makes it much easier to develope for our sites around the globe.
