Adobe Photoshop Elements Patch 9.0.3

I just tried to install an update and got an error message-error code U44M1P2003. There was a link for customer support, so I clicked it and it said I needed Adobe Support Advisor. When I clicked on ASA it said it couldn't find any issues. There was another link for support and that opened a web page with a lot of stuff but I have no idea what to do next. Please can someone help me?

I searched for that error number on Adobe's Web site, but no results were returned. Can you post the link to that "Web page with a lot of stuff"?

Installing the patch to make adobe photoshop elements 9 work with windows 7 computer

Adobe Photoshop Elements 9 has been installed in our new computer with windows 7.However, we can not get pictures to download from our digital camera into
the new computer. A computer tech tried to do this several times and each time it said the "patch" had been installed correctly, connecting camera and computer program, but then it would suddenly say the patch install had failed. Has anyone encountered this problem and found the solution?

I can not clearly understand:
- have you updated to windows 7 - or just updated windows 7 to the newest patches?
- what do you mean by: I tried adding some actions
   - did you add some entries under actions - or do you use just tags named something like ^actions^?
   -> where you successful to do that, or went something wrong while doing this?

Adobe Photoshop Elements Organizer Stops Working due to Sony AVCHD files

Hello I installed Adobe Photoshop elements and have been having trouble with it crashing.
To solve this problem I deleted my Catalog and added a Catalog with only one folder.
This folder has photos, in JPEG and Sony .ARW format as well as AVCHD files.
I found that by removiing the AVCHD files from the catalog the SW would no longer crash.
This really is not a practical solution since my PC has many folders with many AVC files.
I am trying to see if there is a SW patch or another way to address this issue.

I have many picture folders on my pc and several of these have AVC files.
My intention was to use Photo Shop Essentials to edit my pictures. Unfortunately the "Organizer" app crashes when trying to work with my Catalog.
I have narrowed it down to only happening when there are AVC files in my folders. I have seen others have this issue and I found the issue by what they recommended.
Sadly if I am unable to get this to work with my current folders I will have to dump Essentials for another application.

I have been getting a "Runtime Error" and can't open Adobe Photoshop Elements Editor

We are using Adobe Photoshop Elements version 9.0.3 (20110328.m.11320). For several weeks it has not been possible to open the Editor, although the Organizer opens as usual. We get an error message that says "Runtime Error! Program: ...\Adobe\Photoshop Elements 9\PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information." What can we do to correct this problem?

I am running Windows 7 Professional SP1.
Uninstalling and booting should be straightforward. I saved the
following files in my Downloads folder from my initial installation of
Adobe PSE 9.0 on 4/22/11:
Adobe_Photoshop_Elements_9-AkamaiDLM.exe (355 kb application)
PhotoshopElements_9_LS15.exe (1,200 kb application)
PhotoshopElements_9_LS15.7z (1,838,546 kb WinRAR archive)
Will these suffice for reinstalling the program? Can you tell me how I
should go about the reinstallation? (I tried to find a page to download
the Adobe PSE 9.0 program on the Adobe website, but could only locate a
patch for 9.0.3, which I think must already have been included in the
original installation.)
Also, there are four folders, corresponding to four catalogs, in
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organizer\Catalogs. Will those survive
the uninstall/reinstall process? Should I back them up just prior to
uninstalling to preserve them for restoration after the reinstall?
Finally, should I back up the 9.0 and Organizer folders in
C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Elements Organizer for restoration as well? And
the C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Photoshop Elements folder?

Adobe Photoshop Elements 4 removes three drives.

Computer - AMD Athlon[tm]XP 2400+; 2.00 GHz, 1.00 GB of Ram.
System - Microsoft Windows; XP Home Edition; Version 2002; SP2.
80GB hard disc, 60GB free space.

Q1. My newly purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 has removed three drives from My Computer. D:[CD drive]; E:[CD-RW drive], and F:[DVD drive].
When I removed the programme the drives were back. I installed again and the drives disappeared. I need the drives and I want to keep Photoshop Elements 4.0.
Is there a patch or an update that will stop this from happening? Any ideas or suggestions ?
Q2. If this problem cannot be resolved and I download a trial version of Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 from the internet, can I use this new product's license number to validate the trial version?

To Barbara. Thank you. It appears that I need someone who knows how to 'fiddle' with the registry. I lack the skill so I shall ask a friend who built this computer.
To Brian. Thank you. Yes, I do have those drives. D: for installing programmes, E: for my Nero Burning Rom [I do not use Nero any more because I have an external hard drive for backups but it is handy for copying], and E: a DVD drive. I could live without E: and F: and if that would solve the problem I would happily agree to them being removed. Right now, I am left wih only one drive, A: the floppy drive. No doubt you will have had a look at Barbara's link. It may be the answer. I'm hopeful.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 on Win8

I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 a few months ago, and have now recently purchased a new computer with Windows 8. Windows 8 is not listed on the systems requirements on the package, so I am wondering if I can still used the program that I purchased and download it into the the new computer, or if there is an update patch I can get?

My Adobe Photoshop Elements 9.0 requests an up date but won't install

I am using Windows 7 Professional 64. I have disabled my virus protection. After several minutes installing I get the messgae:
Adobe Photoshop Elements 9.0.3 Update
Patch cannot be applied. Please contact product support. But there dioes not appear to be any address to contact support.

Can Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 be installed on Mac OS X 10.8 (ML)?

We have had a copy of PE10 sitting around for a while, but never got around to installing it. We are now running Mountain Lion on our 2010 iMac which easily meets the hardware requirements for PE10, but cannot get it to install. The serial is fully valid, that has been verified. It doesn't even complete the install of the first disc and errors out during install and says it cannot complete the install with Error Code 7. I'll have to run the install again to get the full error and post it, but I'm wanting to know if it is a compatibility issue with the OS being past 10.7. It sounds like a stupid question since clearly it says on the box "through 10.7", but that's because 10.8 wasn't out yet, so I feel like it should be compatible and there is just something not meshing right. Or, it is fully incompatible and we are SOL.
Anyone else have this issue or know the solution?

I had to reinstall my windows7 operating system and re-installed my adobe photoshop elements7. I installed the recommended patch and I still cannot use the editor which is were I fix all my photos. Please help!

In blue bold letters it says,
"Adobe photoshop elements has stopped working"
Then in smaller black print it says,
"A problem has caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available"
If I open any other part of the program everything works great, but when I open the "edit" button this is what I get. And that is where I fix all my photos!

I have been using Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 for along time now. When I first used the program I had a different printer than I have now. Although I changed printers I never removed the software from my old one. Now this was never a problem until today. When I choose a printer I still had option to use the old one but always chose my new HP Envy 5530 and Adobe never had a problem printing from that new printer. However today I decided to remove my old printer from my computer and now my Adobe cannot find my new printer. How can I make it find the HP printer?

How can I install Adobe Photoshop Elements Update 9.0.3 after I get a message that Installation has failed and the solution is not in troubleshooting or forums?

My Photoshop Elements 9 stopped working a couple of weeks ago. When I clicked the PSE button nothing happened. I tried this several times over a few days and it still failed. I uninstalled the program and re-installed it. It worked well. Then I tried to install the Update 9.0.3. The download was almost successful. When it was about to show 100% successful for the download, an error message said the installation had failed and that I should try later. I tried this many times over a few days and the same result occurred. I tried troubleshooting and the answers to questions, but I could not find an answer. I don't know where to go to see if anybody has answered my question. How can I install Update 9.0.3?

I think after resetting the preferences PSE should work fine.

I cannot reinstall Adobe photoshop Elements 6 (CD) in my system OS Windows 7. The setup displays the following message;

IPhoto with Adobe Photoshop Elements 4 and Adobe Bridge

I have not used iPhoto before now as I have been downloading photos from my Canon and Nikon cameras using their software. I have now moved everything into iPhoto but cannot find iPhoto using Adobe Bridge so I am unable to do any editing using Elements 4. Previously I could find the Canon and Nikon photos using Adobe Bridge. With a simple click on the relevant photo it opened up in Adobe Photoshop Elements 4 and I was able to edit it. Now using Bridge I simply cannot find iPhoto thus I cannot use PSE4. Can someone help before I go crazy ? I havde called Apple support but they have been unable to help me and suggested using Discussions@Apple

Many thanks for your quick response although, as a new iMac user, the mere mention of the word "corrupt" scares me ! I previously used a PC with Windows XP and PSE3 and loved being able to sort all my photos into albums with PSE3. Unfortunately the PSE4 which I have installed on my iMac doesn't let users sort their photos into albums and the only alternative is Adobe Bridge. I only recently started to use iPhoto after a visit to an Apple Store and it's great being able to catalog my photos so easily. Unfortunately PSE is far and away superior to any editing software that iPhoto has to offer. Anyway, I'll cross my fingers and try your suggestion first thing tomorrow morning.
