Adobe Photoshop Photography Licence Issues

I have purchased Adobe Photoshop Photography about a month ago and paid for 12 months, however, my computer is telling me now that I have 0 day left of my trial version.  What's going on?

Hi gerbus1,
I will be working on your case and will get back to you when resolved.
Thank you.
Arnaud.

  • Adobe Photoshop Photography Program offer

Adobe Photoshop Photography Program offer page says December 2 is the last date, while the "terms" say December 8 is the last date for registration. Which is correct?

    Bev,
For the Photography Program offer still available until 31 Dec for existing CS3+ customers, I note the offer is stated as including LR5.
What happens when for example LR6 is released? i.e. within the Program, would I get that as replacement for LR5? Or is LR6 to be added as some incremental option (including potentially a price increment to the LR5 version of the Program)?
    Thanks,
    Mark W.

  • Adobe Photoshop Touch Question / Issue

    Hello,
I bought Adobe Photoshop Touch some time ago for my Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and I liked it so much. Of all the apps I had for photo editing, this one gave me all I need. I used to own Adobe Photoshop CS2 on my old PC so I wanted something for my tab as well. I was very satisfied by this app until my tab died some time ago. After a pain of service and repairs, the tab worked again but it had a new issue. Anytime I used the device on something more demanding (i.e. playing games ) the tab overheated a lot and the screen started to touch itself very much as, if it was pressed all the time. After some time of struggle with it I decided to wipe it clean and pass it out to a family member who would maybe dedicate more time to fix it.
Last month I bought myself a new device ( Sony Xperia Z ) and I was eager to get all my data on it and apps of course. To my sadness Adobe Photoshop Touch is not compatible with my device now, and it just sits there in my app list doing nothing . I could install only Photoshop Express but it does not give me the full access I had with Touch. I saw that there is another product called Photoshop Touch for smartphones and it seems to be the same as what I had only phone edition.
My problem is that I can not get this new app unless I pay for it and I do not wish to do that because I already paid for the previous edition.
My question is: Can I somehow obtain the Smartphone edition and the previous version ( which apparently is for tablets I suppose ) be removed from my Google Play account. I would purchase the smartphone version but there is no point in having 1 app 2 times.
I would happily like the staff to remove my previous version from my account if they would gave me the smartphone version and I acknowledge that the tab app was more expensive than the smartphone version and Adobe will not refund me the money difference nor are they obligated to give me the smartphone version. I am just asking if it would be possible because I like that app and it's such a shame for it to be in my app list and not be used. Thank you for your time in reading this and no matter what answer I get, I will be ok with it. Have a nice day .

I don't think you'll have much luck. PS Touch for tablets was designed for just tablets; PS Touch for phones was designed for just phones. Touch for phones came out a little later than Touch for tablets. (By several months, if I recall.) On the brighter side, if you ended up buying Touch for phones, you'd be covered no matter which device you had.
Both are very similar in function. I believe the only differences are their UIs; Touch for tablets is landscape-oriented-specific while Touch for phones is portrait-oriented. (Some elements are also placed differently.) I imagine this allows for maximum utilization of screen real estate and element placement.

  • Adobe photoshop elements 12 issue

my adobe photoshop elements 12 organizer keeps stopping? anyone know why?

For what it's worth: On my PC running 64-bit Windows 7, I found that PSE 12.0's Organizer simply stopped working (crashed) for no apparent reason from time to time. After updating to PSE 12.1 a few weeks ago, Organizer hasn't crashed a single time. Whether 12.1 addressed stability issues, I have no idea. Perhaps it's just my imagination, but 12.1 does seem to be more stable.

  • Photoshop Photography Program issue - current serial number not recognised

I own a commercial version of Photoshop CS5 (Extended) and have registered the product. I would like to purchase the ‘Photoshop Photography Program for CS3+ customers’ however when I type in my product serial number the system says “We don't have any registered products associated with this Adobe ID”. Is there away around this? Thanks in advance!

You need to talk to Adobe directly when it comes to purchasing matters.
Here is a link to a page with options to help initiate contact - they might be able to point you to a more meaningful contact if they cannot process matters for you:

  • Adobe Photoshop Extended CS6 vs Adobe Photoshop CC - Licensing Issue

    Hi.
Allow me to explain my situation.
I had a company logo, which needed to be saved as a .TIF Uncompressed (Baseline 6.0) for use in SAP.
I tried all the software I could get my hands on, which could save as .TIF, but when importing into SAP, it displayed "Erroneous file format".
I then asked a friend who is a graphic designer, to take the same logo, put it into Photoshop, and then Save it as a .TIF (Uncompressed), this method worked when importing the file into SAP.  He however used Photoshop Extended CS6.
Seeing, that everything we tried, ONLY Photoshop Extended CS6 was able to export the correct version of .TIF needed in SAP, I started looking around to purchase the software for business use, but found that the product is now EOL, and everyone I asked, tried to sell me Adobe Photoshop CC.  I then asked the same friend, who also has CC, to do the same with the image, and when I tried to import it into SAP, it failed with "Erroneous File Format" again, meaning that there is a difference in the .TIF version between CS6 and CC, using the exact same export settings.
Now my question, where can I still get a legit copy of Photoshop Extended CS6 for official business use?

SAP is software used by enormous companies. Once thought of as an accounting tool it now pretty much runs many of the biggest companies in the world, from recruiting to e-commerce, and managing the warehouse, payroll and compliance. In enterprises, entire teams of people live, eat and breathe SAP, and all other (non-SAP) software is a throwaway toy.

  • Adobe Photoshop 9 Install Issues

I upgraded to a new laptop.  I can't install a licensed version of Adobe Photoshop Elements 9.  I receive this message below.  Since its a new laptop, there isn't a previous version installed, and since I'm installing from a CD
it can't be corrupt.  How can I install my licensed version of Adobe Photoshop 9 on my new laptop.  My old laptop had hardware problems, so I needed to upgrade.

I downloaded (5 times) Adobe Reader 9. At 98.7% of the installation process, I get this error message.."The feature you are tying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable."
"Click OK again or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package "AdbRdr812_en_us.msi" in the box below.
I have no idea where this file may be, and fully expect Adobe to be able to find its own files!
Since attempting to download Reader 9. I have lost the ability to read .pdf files online, with the error message Can not launch Acrobat".
After Acrobat -says- it's installed itself, I get this error message...
"Error 1714.The older version of Adobe Reader 9 cannot be removed.
    Contact your technical support group."
I am my only technical support group, and really really don't care for this rigamarole, losing "features" I had.
    What is going on?

  • Lightroom in Adobe Photoshop Photography Program

I had downloaded a "trial" version of Lightrrom 5 which was expiring. I elected to subscribe to the Adode Phototshop Photograpy program in CC.  The account was establised and I downloaded Photoshop with no problem (as well as Bridge).  Ther was no option for Lightroom.  When I go to open the already downloaded version of Lightroon it asks for a purchased serial number.  When I look at the apps tab in the download installer it shows Lightroom as being up to date but not as being downloaded under the home tab.  Any ideas as to how to access Lightroom?  I am running OS X 10.9.1

  • Adobe Photoshop Photography Program

I recently took out a subscription to Photoshop CC at £8.78 per month. A preferential price for 12 months for existing Photoshop CS6 owners. I've just read the Adobe blog >> here << and discovered Adobe's new pricing to suit photographers which includes Lightroom and other apps at a lesser cost of £8.58/month. My question is will my current new subscription be migrated to the newer subscription type or will I have to cancel it and start a brand new subscription when it comes out?

    http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/faq.html#pslr-bundle
I am already a Creative Cloud member. Do I qualify for this offer?
Customers who have already joined a Creative Cloud Single App membership for Photoshop at the $9.99/month level (or corresponding local pricing matching the pricing provided in the question above) will be automatically transitioned to this new program when it ships in a few weeks, with the additional benefits and lower ongoing price. All other Creative Cloud members who meet the qualification requirements may contact Adobe Customer Service once the new offer is shipping in a few weeks, to discuss transitioning their membership to this new offer.

  • Adobe Photoshop Photography Program & Lightroom 6

A quick question before I sign up for the $9.95/mo Photoshop CC with Lightroom 5.
I can see that with Photoshop being a CC product that the $120/yr membership will give upgrades to that product as long as the membership is maintained.  What happens when Lightroom 6 comes out?  Is the upgrade to 6 also included in the membership, or do Lightroom upgrades need to be purchased external to this CC membership?
        Thanks, Jim

That sounds like a good deal, but does lead me to another question...
If the use of LR6, 7, 8 is acquired through Creative Cloud and database formats change (they do almost every version), is there a way to get out of CC and still have access to the new version of the database?  Will there be a database downgrade utility to take a user back to the Lightroom 5 version of the database or will a person need to purchase whatever the latest version of Lightroom is at the time of leaving Creative Cloud?

  • Adobe Photoshop Photography Program: some clarification please?

"This offer includes access to Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5, plus feature  updates and upgrades as they are available; 20GB of cloud storage for  file sharing and collaboration; and Behance ProSite for your own fully  customizable professional portfolio."
If I understand this correctly it means that all future enhancements (we used to call them versions) of Photoshop are included, but Lightroom 6 will not be included, since it is not "CC" as such.
The terms state clearly that Lightroom 5 is included. It doesn't mention future versions of Lightroom, although it states that feature updates and upgrades are included.
Can you clarify if future versions of Lightroom (6, 7, ...) are included or not?
    Thank you

    Hi Bart,
This program will include access to whatever the latest version of Lightroom is at the time as well, 6, 7. etc.

  • Adobe Photoshop CS5 trial issue

I extracted the files succesfully, but when i try and run the setup it shows up as running in the processes tab of task manager, but not in the applications window and it doesnt load onto the screen, i cant find any fixes anywhere else. I am using windows 7 home premium, i tried running as administrator and using different compatability modes as well as redownloading, not sure where to turn.....help

You have an install of another app or Windows Update running at the same time. This can happen when updates never finished or otehr programs were not installed/ uninstalled properly. Look for instances of msiexec.exe in your task manager and kill them, then try again. for everything else, reading this and this may offer some ideas.
