Adobe photoshop trial

Question

I just downloaded and installed adobe photoshop elements.   I can open the photoshop elements 12 organizer and the editor pages.   I imported photographs from my files in the same computer to the organizer page and first I can not move these photos to the editor page, and second I can not burn a dvd for these pictures while in photoshop (I can make a dvd using  windows dvd maker but it is very bad quaility).   In the Organizer page I go to Share then to Burn DVD blue ray, and I get this message: "This feature requires adobe premiere elements", download.  I thought I already did this, and I tried to do it again and it is all the same.
If I'm in the Editor page, I clicked on File, then Open, then I selected some of my own pictures from the same computer and I get the message: "Could not complete request because is not the right kind of document".

You don't 'move' images from Organizer to Editor. But you can open them in the Editor from the Organizer by anyone of the following methods:
Right-click image, select 'Edit with Photoshop Elements Editor' to open it in the Editor.
Select two or more images and right-click any one of them, select 'Edit with Photoshop Elements Editor' to open them all in the Editor.
Select one or more images and press Ctrl+I to open them all in the Editor.
Select one or more images and use the menu commands Edit> Edit with Photoshop Elements Editor to open them all in the Editor.
If the Editor is already open, select one or more images and drag them to the Editor icon in the Task Bar, wait for the Editor to open and then release the mouse button to open them all in the Editor.
For burning to DVD, Premiere Elements is a separate application to Photoshop Elements. After you've downloaded it, you need to run it's installer to install it. If you haven't purchased it though a watermark will appear across the centre of your video.
You could use the slideshow editor to burn the slideshow to a wmv file and then use the free Windows Movie Maker to burn it to DVD.
What are the types of file you are trying to open that are giving you the error message? Were they created in another editing package?
If they are RAW files from a camera what camera? Run Help> Updates to install the latest version of Camera RAW and see if they will then open.
Spend some time with Help> Getting Started - it will teach you a lot about the program and the interaction between Organizer and Editor.
