Sorry to tell you this but there is no flash player that you can download for Nokia phones. They all come pre-installed with a version of Flash Lite that is completely tied to the Operating system i.e. you can't uninstall it or update it independently unless Nokia decides to include an update in the firmware (which isn't often btw).

Odds are it's looking for the IE plugin: (A lot of software just assumes ALL Windows users are "slaves to Microsoft" and only have IE installed.)

Adobe does not require a password to download the Flash installer. Generally speaking passwords are not required to download software, unless you must register with the website so as to log in. In that case you should never use the same name and password you use to administer your Mac.

Multiple tries but only failure - have tried both the automatic update and also the standalone installer. Zero sucess. Since I have CS5 Master Collection hate to wate the better part of the day doing a clean re-install. Here is my most recent update log file.

As an update to my previous post about the installation failure. I chatted with Adobe Customer Service but they were unable to help and told me to call tech support - last time I did that I was unable to resolve the problem after spending about 2 hours on the phone and they are only open during the week.
I solved the problem by:
1) Deactiviating CS5 Master Collection on my computer
2) Uninstalling the software from the control panel (I did not remove the serial number as I was planning on re-installing.
3) Downloading and running the Adobe CS5 Cleanup tool.
4) Reinstalling CS5 MC.
5) Downloading and installing all of the updates to bring the install up to date.
I am glad it is working as it should but really had better things to do with the 4-5 hours this took to do. Would be nice to have a tool to fix these types of problem without having to go thru the above especially considering the price the software costs...

What to do now that Adobe ended support for Flash Player 10.3?

Adobe ended support for Flash Player 10.3 on July 9. Downloads are no longer available anywhere that I can find. Adobe says 11.7 is now the "extended release" version. Since 10.3 has been the only solution when the latest Flash Player version won't work with Firefox, what do we do now? I have tested every Flash Player release after 10.3, and each starts crashing repeatedly after 24 hours. Each time, retreat to 10.3 was the only solution. The other suggestions in Firefox help don't work. I uninstalled 10.3 a few days ago to test 11.8 - the latest. It doesn't work with Firefox. Now I could only install 11.7. It hasn't failed yet, but it probably will tomorrow.
If Flash Player 11.8 and 11.7 don't work, and 10.3 is unavailable, what can we do?

Your best course of action is to email the web sites that use Flash and request that they support iOS. If you also mention that there are now well over 200 million iOS users worldwide that can't use the web site it might get their attention. Not as most people think of Flash on an iOS device, no. The new version of Flash Media Server just provides a single server platform for streaming video both in Flash and HTML5 content formats. It won't work for Flash apps which is what most people want. And it's not something the user can install for connecting to Flash content;the provider has to implement it.
It may, however, speed up the availability of content in HTML5 format since the provider doesn't have to run separate servers. And just FYI, it's not new. This version of Flash Media Server was released back in September.

The Adobe Application Manager is showing an update for "Adobe Player for Embedding 3.1".
What is this application? How would I know that I might use this app within CS5?
Not a big deal but I do not like updating components with which I am not familiar.

It's the component that handles Flash panels and since PS uses them, you need it.

Strange icon that won't allow update of Adobe Flash Player 17 for mac

When I download the newest Adobe Flash update for mac I get a strange icon.
When I double click to launch the update file, I get an even stranger window full of gibberish.
If anyone has any ideas or suggestions I'm open. I have gone through every help file I can find for Adobe and nothing has helped so far.

Please remove the .mdlp from the file name, so that it ends in just .dmg.
We are seeing this behaviour with users that have MathLab installed and we are investigating why this is happening. FWIW, this happens to other software DMG files as well, not just the Flash Player installer. For some reason, when users have MathLab installed, when the DMG file is downloaded, it appends the .mdlp extension to it. When users attempt to launch it, instead of being opened with DiskImageMounter, which is what OS X uses to open DMG files, it opens using MathLab and the result is what you posted. If this happens in the future, just delete '.mdlp' from the file name and DiskImageMounter will open the DMG, instead of MathLab.

Adobe Player problem on MacBook Pro

I have both an iMac and a MacBook Pro.
I have the latest Adobe Player on both.
Using Firefox as browser on both.
Yet when trying to watch videos embedded at sites on the MacBook Pro, videos that play fine on the iMac don't play on the MacBook Pro.
For instance, both videos on this blog posting show and play on my iMac, but on the MBP this error message shows in the black video box: "The video can't be played with your current setup. I have tried re-installing Adobe Flash Player on the MBP, but the problem persists.

You did remember to restart FF after installing the flash player didn't you?
Try also installing Perian.
