Adobe PremCS5.5.0 works but after the update to CS5.5.2 it crashes

Adobe PremCS5.5.0 works but after the update to CS5.5.2 it crashes, it starts with loading some modules from Premiere and then disappears from srceen.
When I reload my old image again on the disk, CS5.5.0 works again
Will it help to do first a manual upgrade to CS5.5.1 and then CS5.5.2, or ???

the problem "it starts with loading some modules from Premiere and then disappears from srceen." can be solved by booting premiere while keeping the SHIFT and ALT key pressed until premiere ist totally loaded. That operation resets premiere. It's important to press the keys immediatly after starting premiere. Best way to do this, select the icon and press enter to start the programm (you can react faster than using double click). And remember to hold the keys during the whole boot process. The reset was successfull when the list of resent projects is empty, and in your case if premiere finaly starts.

From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
Click: Remove All Website Data
Now back to the menu bar, click Safari > Empty Cache
Quit then relaunch Safari.
Try one of the sites you had trouble accessing...

The goal is to mount the combo update .dmg on the desktop and then open and run it. If you can't get to the desktop to begin with, that won't work. Another approach is to treat the Mac's hard disk as just another HD by using a second Mac and then connecting the problematic one via Target Disk Mode. See http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1661. Note that both Macs will need Firewire ports and you'll need a FIrewire cable to connect them. With the combo updater, one of the steps in the process is to select the drive you want to install the update on. Once you're successfully connected in Target Disk Mode, the problematic drive should appear in the list.
If that doesn't work or Target Disk Mode isn't possible, the only other solution is to boot into Recovery Mode; see http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4718. Note that once booted into recovery mode, you have access to Disk Utility, and you should try running Repair Disk after selecting the bad drive to see if something's wrong with the directory which could be fixed. When you select that drive, you should also look at S.M.A.R.T. Status at the bottom of the window. It should say "Verified." If it says Failing or Failed, the HD needs to be replaced.
If the HD is OK, all that's left that I can think of is to reinstall Lion using Recovery Mode. I hope you've maintained current backups or at least complete Time Machine backups. Of course, if you have a backup and the backup is bootable, you could boot from that, wipe the internal HD clean, and clone the backup onto the internal HD.

SOLVED Ok. I actually was able to disable it. I had to actually log in as the guest user to make it accessible in the preference window. Then I disabled it and logged out. Apologies if this was obvious for some people, but I have had some sort of issue with something every update since Snow Leopard.

I will try am explain what I see: I hooked up my I Pod Clicked on Music checked Sync Music 1909 Songs select Playlist, Artists, albums, and genres checked Include music videos Playlists checked 50's Music checked 70's Music checked 80's Music checked 90's Music checked 2000 Music checked 2010 Music These are songs that I downloaded onto my I Tunes. I bought me a new computer but when my data was transferred from old computer to new computer a lot of my songs on my hard drive were lost, but they were able to save all my songs on I tunes. My I Pod is still connected Clicked on "On this Ipod" Music 938 Songs 2.2 days So my question to you is if I have 1,909 songs on my ITunes how come only 938 transferred to my IPod. I checked my IPod and it shows only 938 songs transferred. This did not happen before until I Tunes asked me if I wanted to update to a newer version. I have tried the above fix and iTunes crashes giving error 27 after trying to load the iPhone firmware.
I have booted my phone in DFU mode and this has made no difference.
My mac is up to date.
My iTunes is up to date.
All i tried to do was update my ios as i have been unable to make calls or send text's all day.
Do you have any other suggestions as my phone is no good to me now.

Ipod 5 flash not working right after the update

Hi first off: my flash was perfect before the update so I think its not hardware?
- after the update yesterday today my friend and I tried to take a selfie in a dark place so we wanted to use the back camera and turned the flash as ON for our surprise it didnt work.
- we tried then to take something else's pic and the flash worked
- we tried the selfie again this time using the camera buttom not the volume's but didnt work.
- we used hipstamatic and VSCOCam then and it worked perfectly
- I tried turning on and off the device and did not work.
- I did a full restore through Itunes and didnt work.
anybody else having this problem?
any suggestion to fix it?

I contacted apple and they claimed it to be an obvious software bug, they said I had to take it to an assistence to get a new one intantly but as theres no assistence in my town and I cant go to nearby one I will have to just replace the stock app for a better one... once more I'm disapointed with apple.

Wallaby animation isn't working correctly after app update

Hi DPS fellows,
This afternoon I've updated my Adobe Content Viewer and all my wallaby animations began to work in a different way.
It's just fades in instead of doing the animation.
Most of them are just animated letters for a headline. The animations consist in each letter appear at different time, sometimes coming form right, some form left or from the top of the page, but after the updated, they just appear in a fade in. Before tha worked pretty fine.
Does anybody here knows how to solve that?

Firefox has suddenly gone wrong. I was successfully running both Firefox and Internet Explorer 8 on Windows 7. My laptop is new and has plenty of RAM and HDD. I auto-accept upgrades including the most recent Firefox upgrade and the suggested upgrade to Adobe Flash 10.1. But after this, Firefox stopped working and does not work when I re-load Firefox 3.6. Also IE8 now works very slowly and does not locate major websites like Microsoft without a 'can't find the website message' and having to pressing Return a second time. When I do get to the Mozilla website and click on the button to try to download Firefox 3.6.6, I get this message "Oops! Internet Explorer could not find mozilla3.snt.utwente.nl". Can you help with what has gone wrong? As it stands, I can't use Firefox at all. Note: because Firefox did not work after the upgrade, I've downloaded the IE8 version of the Adobe Flash 10.1. What I really want is to be able to use both Firefox and IE8. But is this possible if they use different versions of Adobe Flash?

I have been having the same problem as the original poster. After upgrading to Ffx 3.6.6, the program asks you to upgrade to Flash Player Plugin 10.1. I download and installed 10.1 only to find videos weren't loading.
In my case, the problem is the previous installation of Flash Player (9.0.47) was somehow messing things up. To fix this, because I already had Flash plugin 10.1 installed I had to uninstall 10.1 using the uninstaller from adobe and then manually remove any files related the old flash player plugin 9.0.47
Here is a run-down of my process:
0. To check if you have a previous installation of the Flash Plugin lurking around, in Firefox go to Tools -> Add-ons -> Plugins (tab). At this point you may seen both Flash plugins.
1. Proceed to uninstall Flash Plugin 10.1. Adobe provides an uninstaller here: http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
( you have to make sure you have nothing running when you execute the installer).
2. On my Mac (sorry I don't know what it is in Windows) I searched the hard drive for any files/folders with "Shockwave". I found a folder called "Shockwave 10". It wasn't removed by Adobe's uninstaller. For safety I deleted it and then emptied the trash.
3. I then went to My HD -> Library -> Internet Plugins.
Remove the file and folder named "Flash player.old"
4. Restarted; ran the Adobe Flash Player 10.1 installer. Restarted again.
5. Opened up ffx and double checked the plugins list (see step 1). Version 10.1 is installed and available. Went to problem sites to test it out and Success!

Thanks so much Woodsroad. I had the exact same problem with my Dell Windows 7 64 bit with AMD Radeon 6700 Video card.
All the video tests passed with flying colors.
The sniffer rename trick fixed the problem.

Why don't use iTunes? Because this just needs to many handling in order to get it where i want it (in general, this whole idea of doing everything online just works likes... ). An app is easier (that's why it is invented).

Unless the iPhone was purchased as unlocked very recently directly from an Apple Store (the only place in the US where unlocked iPhones are sold, and then only since June), which from the symptoms I doubt is the case, then it was locked to AT&T and jailbroken to make it work with an Irish cell carrier. Updating the operating system has now relocked the iPhone back to AT&T.
Only the cell carrier can institute an official unlock, one which will hold across updates of the operating system, and AT&T will not do so for any reason. All we can advise here is that you return the iPhone to your uncle and purchase an iPhone there in Ireland.
